I am very independent and pretty much content with my life. I am blessed with good health, good fortune, great friends, and a career I like very much. I enjoy jogging, playing racquetball, strength training, bike riding, hiking and taking long walks. Although I don't participate regularly, I enjoy going to art museums, symphonies, operas, plays, musicals, baseball games, basketball games and ice hockey games. I have yet to find interest in football. I just don't get it! I kick back at home often with music, videos, books, gardening and basic putting around the house.
Although I have been blessed with a successful career, I am very much down to earth, easy going, and I have simple needs/wants. People describe me as being extremely honest, friendly, caring, loving, kind, sweet, considerate, thoughtful and smart while having a good business sense. I also often hear that I have a sweet and kind spirit. I prefer comfort before beauty, although I love dressing up for special occasions (whether going out on the town or staying at home for a romantic time).
My career has demanded a lot of my time and energy and I am now trying to shift gears to allow time for a loving relationship. I have focused the majority of my life working very hard to be financially independent. Now I am ready to find a special man who is honest, sincere, monogamous, available, and God loving. Although I've been the so-called "career woman", I am fairly passive and I have a traditional sense that I want my partner to play the masculine male role, so I can experience my femininity. However, I am not compatible with a manipulating or controlling partner.
Mi persona ideal:
I am interested in finding an honest man who is capable of intimacy and who is able to communicate. Honesty is key to me. I "can handle the truth!" I have a difficult time trusting someone after they've lied to me (even if they think it's only to protect me).
My ideal partner would be a man who who seeks to put God first (before me) and one who will be the spiritual leader in our relationship. I prefer a non-drinker, however, I don't mind if it's an occasional thing - I just don't want it to be the main focus of daily living. Smoking is a deal breaker. I prefer someone who is health & fitness minded with whom I can share sports and outdoor physical activities. I also gravitate towards people who seek to continually improve themselves. I am attracted to men who have a great sense of humor, intelligence and confidence, who have self respect as well as patience and respect for others.
I am in no rush to meet the right person since I am mostly content; However, I signed up on this site understanding that it is my desire to meet a God loving man, and if it is God's will for me to have a partner in life, he will need to be a Christian. If for nothing else at least I would be focusing my attention in the right direction.
