I do consider myself a Southern Bell. Being raised in a small town in Arkansas, I love the outdoors. There is nothing better than spending time in the quiet surroundings of nature in all Her wonder. Don't get me wrong though, I love the city as well. The hustle and bustle of the people. All the culture and ethnic groups offered to learn about. Something I feel I missed out on as a growing up in a small town. Traditional values is where I'm at. I guess that comes from growing up in the South. The woman's place is in the home. She is to take care of the home and be available to meet the needs of her family. Not to be lazy though. She is judged by how well her home and family are cared for as well as her involvement in the community. As for the man; he is to be the Provider, Protector, and Bread Winner. He is to do all the Manly things a Man should do. He takes care of the lawn, home repairs, etc. But, don't forget spending time with those you love. Family and friend are a very important part of being well balanced. I don't mind if you have a guys night out. It's good for you to get away with your fiends.
