Never married (or lived with any one without the sacrament of marriage since I refuse to be a "pretend" wife - difficult holding this stance when you came of age in the 60's.) Born in CA, Italian/Polish, raised Catholic. Idyllic hood w/camping, fishing, backpacking, tree-houses, off-road motorcycles, Santa Cruz boardwalk - such wonderful memories. Dad developed poor health rather early on & I could see the writing on the wall & knew I would be needed. My beloved parents both crossed within the last few years and perhaps now it's time.
