The proverbial square peg trying to fit into a round hole! My humor is a little 'left of center', but I do have a serious side, too.
I am fairly laid back; much preferring to float along in the stream of life than to make loud, splashing sounds while feverishly paddling upstream. I am not a womens 'lipper' or one for 'climbing the corporate ladder'. My home is my 'castle' and I will take it 'hands down' any day over the day-to-day, work place 'rat race'.
Although comfortable and open in social settings, I would rather curl up with a good book or turn down the lights and listen to music...'down time' after a busy day at 'work'.
I am comfortable in my own skin whether dressed to the nine's or battling 'the one that got away'. I clean up rather nicely and I can get 'dirty' rather nicely too.
Summing it up, my friends would probably say I am a "bag of mixed nuts".
Mi persona ideal:
Saved for last, this is the hardest of all the questions.. well, getting it out of my head and heart and on 'paper'is any way. In all probability, it will continue to be a 'work in progress'...
I am a full-time, stay-at-home, working, home school parent. I am thankful the Lord has allowed me to be 'all that'. I am content in my role as provider and parent, but am missing my 'best friend'.
God said, "It is not good for man to be alone". I believe that can be applied to women too. I also believe that He has someone for each of us and in His time, their separate paths will intertwine and become one.
I joined BigChurch.com hoping to find that special someone; a fun-loving, yet serious, Christian gentleman (heavy emphasis on both 'gentle' and 'man') who has settled in his heart that the foundation of a relationship, much less anything more, is built on the Solid Rock, its framework constructed with the passage of time, strengthened by good times and bad and firmly cemented together with trust, communication, laughter, tears, humor and much prayer.
