Hi,
I started my walk with the Lord approx 2009/2010 but it wasn’t until the last 3 years I became really convicted, and decided to go IFB because I don’t want a watered down/lukewarm sermon (not that I want raging brimstone all the time either lol, but I’ve found the local churches lacking; notwithstanding many don’t fully align with the Bible and I believe it to be inerrant. So while I’d love to find a church community I can’t seem to find one so I watch IFB sermons online every Wednesday and Sunday.
I’d like to meet a Bible believing man who believes as I do, has his life completely together, has marriage in mind, and possibly has or wants .
I believe the man is the head of the household, he works providing for his family, and while I have a say, the decision is ultimately his; I understand that and while I’m sure submission to my husband isn’t going to be an easy task it will be something I’ll have to work on. I know my role is to take care of the home and ideally the .
Clearly I’m looking to marry however everything starts with a friendship first and I don’t believe anything should be hurried as it will all happen in the right time. If it’s meant to be it’ll happen: like one of my favorite Beatles songs just ‘Let It Be.’
Right now I tutor English and am applying to Doctoral school (but that all may change if I were to meet someone idk.) I enjoy arts and crafts, especially working with polymer clay and making jewelry (kawaii is my fav and it’s been super popular for awhile.) Don’t get me wrong I am not trendy: my style is classic, however there are some things that catch on that I can’t help but not like, and it drives me crazy lol. I run on my elliptical and a handyman is finally coming tomorrow to put together my total gym which I cannot wait for! That’s another thing: I need a man who knows how to assemble things because while I speak a few languages (mostly dead lol,) I do not speak “instructions,” lol.
Sometimes I like to vedge out and binge Netflix, I love shopping, I like going out, I like staying in, I like reading, and of course the Bible, and I like baking but it’s so bad for you (ughh!) I like just hanging out and I love to travel. I can cook so I like to either eat in or out (I’m fine with either,) I’m not a drinker because I have a GI problem, however I have no problem if my partner is a social drinker, just not a drunk (just because I can’t drink should ruin other’s fun but I don’t want to be around drunk people.) I did that in college which was great but it’s over ad infinitum. I used to love hiking but I haven’t been in awhile for reasons I’ll disclose later. I love to swim, I used to play squash and soccer, but ballet pretty much dominated my entire childhood into early adulthood.
People say I’m fun and make them laugh but idk about that. I certainly wouldn’t want to seem hubristic cuz that’s the last thing I am; to the contrary I actually need more self confidence, BTW I’m just reiterating what friends say, although I do like to have fun and enjoy making others laugh and have fun, so if I’m achieving that? Hazzah! That’s a two-fer lol. I did ballet for oh my gosh 22 years or so (yes my parents started me in ballet when i was 2 and gymnastics when i was 3.) They were THOSE parents lol. I love them to death but they were certainly demanding, however maybe I wouldn’t be as disciplined as I am now had then not been, so did they “Miss Cleo” me so I would have this epiphany? Wow… talk about being spun out lol and coincidental but I’m not so sure I believe in coincidences.

My Ideal Person
My ideal person is someone who is strong in their faith, knows what they want in life, is a go-getter, is financially secure, and wants a Biblically based marriage (hopefully with kids but not a necessity,) with a Godly and beautiful woman (to say proverbs 31 would be so cliched so I’m just going to leave that there lol,) a woman who is strong in her faith, who wants a Biblically centered marriage, wants to have kids and raise them in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, and who wants to take care of her man the way he deserves to be.
