An easy-going, non-smoking, 177cm/80kg, caring fellow with a passion for life and learning (in everyday sense of the word). Moderate but stylish, I appreciate such things as Nature, Science, History; and enjoy sports and various genres of music, esp. Jazz. Though, often serious-minded, I have been known in the company of friends to be light-hearted, witty and spontaneous with neat and simple humours too. I enjoy cooking and hope my partner does too. When possible, I'd love to see the world more and attend Jazz concerts. Wouldn't it be so nice to go around with you together?
My Ideal Person
My ideal partner would be between 25-40 years old and single; pretty (especially from the inside) with her own sense of style and persona. She is preferably educated, Godly, well-mannered/modest, and goal-oriented. She is either black or white as long as she is open-minded about other cultures and shows interests outside of just hers. She should be thoughtful and communicative (i.e., enrich me with an ability to discuss together a wide variety of issues comfortably). She is emotionally strong, trustworthy, loyal and considerate. Generally independent and also brings her own unique values to our partnership; so we can learn together. I hope she is health-conscious and physically fit. Would treat others as she would like to be treated, because I am by nature similar in all these requirements. A big plus if she likes music in general, especially if she can stand me and my love for Jazz
Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I would say I have a spiritual (rather than religious) relationship with my Lord. I believe one's faith is best described by one's private walks with the Lord and one's conduct and character with other people.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom... (Proverbs 1:7 & the entire book of Proverbs),
God's grace through faith ... the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8-9),
The Exhortations... (Philippians 4:4-8),
...and many more :)
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
A picnic-like outdoor setting or a walk in the nature, and finally a memorable dinner in a restaurant. There should be time and comfort enough to have a good conversation.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in West Africa and have travelled in Africa and Europe. I have been blessed to have experienced both Tropical and Nordic nature/vegetations. My dream trips would be to the Seychelles, to the island countries of South-East Asia, and to Canada and its natural environments.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Monthly youth meetings. Outside: (see below)
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
My occupation is computer-related, hence I spend a lot of my time around computers. I balance this with a modest amount of social interactions, in the company of like-minded people when time allows - (UNICEF activities, Jazz club, local computer club, etc.). To unwind, I read a wide range of books, magazines, (Science, History and topical issues, etc.). Health and nutrition are close subjects to my heart; and to keep fit I keep a routine weekly fitness regime.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
To lead an exemplary Christian family and career life; to be diligent and generous; to show humility in success.
