Hello, I am guy and I am an alcoholic. I can't drink because I have a compulsive nature. Drinking separates me from God, from the sharpness of recieving and giving out His gifts. Which are justice, self-controll, courage and humility. This group should be for us to share our experiences for uplifting. To post certain scriptures that support abstinence so to encourage and strengthen us. Knowing that we cannot drink and still expect to be "on top of it". Alcoholics are for the most part sincere well-meaning people, But we are also an emotional lot. I remember the equations: (-A)=I/E, manageable life, and (+A)=E/I, un-manageable life, where: (A)= alcohol, I= intelligence, E= emotion. It means that our emotions mixed with alcohol will destroy us.
