....trying really hard not to complicate things here.......have hired some new professionals for my older and am leaving the rest to Jesus...
these words are very clear......if I offer all of my life to God....faith conquers fear

Jesus loves me and so I serve Him.
Recently, I am trying to spend as many quiet moments with Him to know His will for me...one thing is clear.....I've got a lot to learn.
Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

WHY GOD CREATED
(AND IN THE PROCESS GRANDCHILDREN)
To those of us who have in our lives,
whether they are our own,
grandchildren,
nieces,
nephews,
or students...
here is something to make you chuckle.
Whenever your are out of control,
you can take comfort from the thought that
even God's omnipotence did not extend
to His own .
After creating heaven and earth,
God created Adam and Eve.
And the first thing he said was
"DON'T!"
"Don't what?"
Adam replied.
"Don't eat the forbidden fruit."
God said.
"Forbidden fruit?
We have forbidden fruit?
Hey Eve..we have forbidden fruit!"
"No Way!"
"Yes way!"
"Do NOT eat the fruit! "
said God.
"Why?"
"Because I am your Father and I said so! "
God replied,
wondering why He hadn't stopped
creation after making the elephants.
A few minutes later,
God saw His having an apple break
and He was ticked!
"Didn't I tell you not to eat the fruit? "
God asked.
"Uh huh,"
Adam replied.
"Then why did you? "
said the Father.
"I don't know,"
said Eve.
"She started it! "
Adam said.
"Did not! "
"Did too! "
"DID NOT! "
Having had it with the two of them,
God's punishment was that Adam and Eve
should have of their own.
Thus the pattern was set and it has never changed.
BUT THERE IS REASSURANCE IN THE STORY!
If you have persistently and lovingly tried to give wisdom and they haven't taken it,
don't be hard on yourself.
If God had trouble raising ,
what makes you think it would be
a piece of cake for you?
THINGS TO THINK ABOUT!
1. You spend the first two years of their life
teaching them to walk and talk. Then you spend
the next sixteen telling them to sit down and shut up.
2. Grandchildren are God's reward
for not killing your own .
3. Mothers of teens now know why
some animals eat their young.
4. seldom misquote you.
In fact,
they usually repeat word for word
what you shouldn't have said.
5. The main purpose of holding 's parties
is to remind yourself that there are
more awful than your own.
6. We childproofed our homes,
but they are still getting in.

Not the hollywood dramatic kind, but the caring and comforting way that shows christian kindness.
May I lift someone's spirit today, Lord. May I lighten someone's load and be of assistance.
To this end, may I be a good example today, Lord.
May Your love shine through me. Let my smile show that I care and may I do something helpful and kind in Your name, especially today.

This past week I was contacted by someone from my past......my first longterm boyfriend, actually. I am so grateful that I am on firm ground today with Jesus protecting my every step now. There was no inkling of faith in his words........ other than a desire to instill in his medical student a love for people and how to treat them well.
......I'm not sure why I got this email really......other than to reinforce his apology by phone for hurting me [he left me 37 years ago.......he phoned to apologise 21 years ago]
Boy, do I feel old!!!.......lol
Hebrews 13:1 - Keep on loving each other as brothers.
Hebrews 13:2 - Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.

Pet Rules...
To be posted VERY LOW on the refrigerator door - nose height.
Dear Dogs and Cats,
The dishes with the paw print are yours and contain your food. The other
dishes are mine and contain my food. Please note, placing a paw print in
the middle of my plate of food does not stake a claim for it becoming
your food and dish, nor do I find that aesthetically pleasing in the
slightest.
The stairway was not designed by NASCAR and is not a racetrack. Beating
me to the bottom is not the object. Tripping me doesn't help because I
fall faster than you can run.
I cannot buy anything bigger than a king sized bed. I am very sorry
about this. Do not think I will continue sleeping on the couch to ensure
your comfort. Dogs and cats can actually curl up in a ball when they
sleep. It is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to each other
stretched out to the fullest extent possible. I also know that sticking
tails straight out and having tongues hanging out the other end to
maximize space is nothing but sarcasm.
For the last time, there is not a secret exit from the bathroom. If by
some miracle I beat you there and manage to get the door shut, it is not
necessary to claw, whine, meow, try to turn the knob or get your paw
under the edge and try to pull the door open. I must exit through the
same door I entered. Also, I have been using the bathroom for years --
canine or feline attendance is not required.
The proper order is kiss me, then go smell the other or cat's butt.
I cannot stress this enough!
To pacify you, my dear pets, I have posted the following message on our
front door:
To All Non-Pet Owners Who Visit & Like to Complain About Our Pets:
1. They live here. You don't.
2. If you don't want their hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture.
(That's why they call it 'fur'niture.)
3. I like my pets a lot better than I like most people.
4. To you, it's an animal. To me, he/she is an adopted / who
is short, hairy, walks on all fours and doesn't speak clearly.
Remember: In many ways, dogs and cats are better than because they:
1. Eat less.
2. Don't ask for money all the time.
3. Are easier to train.
4. Normally come when called.
5. Never ask to drive the car.
6. Don't hang out with drug-using friends.
7. Don't smoke or drink.
8. Don't have to buy the latest fashions.
9. Don't want to wear your clothes.
10. Don't need a 'gazillion' dollars for college.
And finally,
11. If they get pregnant, you can sell their .
