my prayer for you

When this world closes in on me, let me remember Jesus' example --
to slip away and find a quiet place to pray. It's the best response
when I'm pushed beyond my limits. I know that when I can't pray, you
listen to my heart. Continue to use me to do your will.
Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me
strong that I may help the weak. Keep me uplifted that I may have
words of encouragement for others. I pray for those who are lost and
can't find their way. I pray for those who are misjudged and
misunderstood. I pray for those who don't know you intimately.. I pray
for those who will delete this without sharing it! With others. I pray
for those who don't believe. But I thank you that I believe.
I believe that God changes people and God changes things. I pray for
all my sisters and brothers. I pray for all my online friends and for their needs. For each and every family member in their
households. I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes that they
are out of debt and all their needs are met.
I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem,
circumstance, or situation greater than God. Every battle is in your
hands for you to fight. I pray that these words be received into the
hearts of every eye that sees them and every mouth that confesses them
willingly...
This is my prayer.
In Jesus' Name, Amen.

just out of the blue here.........
I was praying for my sons and this
thought jumped out at me.......
boys need male role models and these
days with so many single moms and
no father figures for miles....
what can we expect in these upcoming
generations?

Chapter 1
An exhortation to seek God sincerely, who cannot be deceived, and desireth not our death.
1 Love justice, you that are the judges of the earth. Think of the Lord in goodness, and seek him in simplicity of heart. 2 For he is found by them that tempt him not: and he showeth himself to them that have faith in him. 3 For perverse thoughts separate from God: and his power, when it is tried, reproveth the unwise: 4 For wisdom will not enter into a malicious soul, nor dwell in a body subject to sins. 5 For the Holy Spirit of discipline will flee from the deceitful, and will withdraw himself from thoughts that are without understanding, and he shall not abide when iniquity cometh in.
6 For the spirit of wisdom is benevolent, and will not acquit the evil speaker from his lips: for God is witness of his reins, and he is a true searcher of his heart, and a hearer of his tongue. 7 For the spirit of the Lord hath filled the whole world: and that, which containeth all things, hath knowledge of the voice. 8 Therefore he that speaketh unjust things cannot be hid, neither shall the chastising judgment pass him by. 9 For inquisition shall be made into the thoughts of the ungodly: and the hearing of his words shall come to God, to the chastising of his iniquities. 10 For the ear of jealousy heareth all things, and the tumult of murmuring shall not be hid.
11 Keep yourselves therefore from murmuring, which profiteth nothing, and refrain your tongue from detraction, for an obscure speech shall not go for nought: and the mouth that belieth, killeth the soul. 12 Seek not death in the error of your life, neither procure ye destruction by the works of your hands. 13 For God made not death, neither hath he pleasure in the destruction of the living. 14 For he created all things that they might be: and he made the nations of the earth for health: and there is no poison of destruction in them, nor kingdom of hell upon the earth. 15 For justice is perpetual and immortal.
16 But the wicked with works and words have called it to them: and esteeming it a friend have fallen away, and have made a covenant with it: because they are worthy to be of the part thereof.

there are many times as a single mom that I become so discouraged by what's happening .....and worried about what lies before us. But Gods word taught us not to put trust in men because they will fail ........and you will get disappointed. .......but Trusting God completely assures that in Him we find satisfaction ....................and that our future is safe in Him.

lately I try to listen mostly...
God has much better ideas than I ever come up with.
have been seriously working on the whole bible in a year.....a recovery bible I got from alanon
...the more time I spend quietly with God,
the quality of events is richer and I know Who
is in charge anyway.......GBU

His appointments are unlimited....
He is never too busy...
Jesus is merciful
He forgives because He loves me
He never tires of teaching me
I can always count on His support.
Jesus is waiting....
He wants to love me endlessly
His gentle ways soothe my turmoil.
Jesus is available...
all the time...
everywhere...
in every situation...
Jesus is Love.
