The Bible is God’s Word. It is not just another book – it is divinely inspired by God Himself.
“For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12) The Bible is not dead, it is alive – God speaking to you today. It is active – it can make good things come to life in your life. It can give you wisdom as to the thoughts and attitudes of your heart.
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Tim 3:16, 17) Do you want to be completely equipped to do every good work? Then you must read the Bible.
This week, let us pray
That all Christians would grow in the knowledge of God’s Word the Bible
That you personally would get to know the Bible and become completely equipped and ready for every good work
That God would bless those efforts to spread the knowledge of the Word of God throughout the earth

Is it just my connection or do others also find it difficult to get into blogs?
I have not been able to log on for about 16 hours and now that I am able to get it, I am unable to get into the blogs or send mail.

MY SHOES…
|

Thank God for my shoes ‒ they fit
I woke up one day and I realized that there were many things about my life I was not satisfied with or better still, there were challenges that were threatening my soul.
And I said to myself, ‘Why would anyone envy me and want to be in my shoes.’ They don’t know how far I’ve come, they don’t know what lies ahead of me, and neither do they know how dissatisfied I get with myself from time to time.
People don’t know the troubles that you’ve had or the price you had to pay to get to where you are. All they know is that they wish they were like you.
Why should you wish you were in anybody’s shoes when you hardly know how they fit?
When you’ve worn your shoes for a while, they take the shape of your feet and align to the way you walk. If you were to wear my shoes, you will not be comfortable in them.
So I stopped wishing that I am in someone else’s shoes because it might not fit; rather I thank God for my shoes, because they fit!
I have learnt to be the best in what I do, and I know no-one can replace me anywhere and in any sphere.
I am an original, my God is not in the cloning business. He makes originals!
Make the best of what you do; besides you have this beautiful life to live ONLY ONCE.
Live it to the fullest.

Yesterday, on the N1 highway in Gauteng, South Africa, a truck lost its brakes and were speeding down the emergency lane. He had to swerve to avoid a stranded vehicle in the emergency lane.
The truck drove straight into oncoming traffic and 25 cars were involved in the accident. The truck landed on a white VW Jetta. The car and truck in the pic.
The gentleman in the car in the pic escaped without a scratch. When emergency personnel came near the vehicle, somebody shouted, there is someone inside. To their amazement the reply was: "I am fine, God is good"
The gentleman cancelled his life insurance the day before and gave it to the church who he felt could use it better.

Marriage Compatibility Rating Test
|

|
Marriage Compatibility Rating Test Instructions When completing the test give marks out of 10 to the questions ('10 = Very True' down to '0 = Not True At All').
Answer the questions as honestly as possible since you do not have to show the results to anybody else - there is nobody to deceive but yourself.
Please answer these questions and answer them honestly using the instructions below and then evaluate your score. (0=NOT TRUE, MAYBE=5, 10=VERY TRUE) Question Score /10 1 There is very little conflict in our relationship
2 When there is conflict we handle it very satisfactorily.
3 I find myself agreeing with my partner far more often than disagreeing.
4 If my partner ended up developing a similar character to his/her parents, or became like them in old age, I would be very happy about this.
5 I feel that I can share all my feelings, good and bad, with my partner and that he/she does the same with me.
6 My partner is very similar to me in cultural, social, intellectual and economic background and probably in intelligence.
7 We share similar philosophies of life or spiritual beliefs
8 We share the same sense of humour
9 My partner's health is good, I would describe them as a happy person & I don't think he/she is likely to suffer from depressions, obsessions, eating disorders, excessive anxieties or mental health problems.
10 My partner is sensitive and kind and not selfish or self-obsessed.
11 If I lived in a society where parents arranged marriages for their , my partner is just the kind of person my parents might have chosen for me.
12 We have a lot of conversational interests in common, I enjoy his/her conversation on a variety of topics and I like his/her friends
13 Judging by track record to date, my partner is monogamous when in a serious relationship.
14 We agree on the extent of freedom within marriage as regards other relationships and I therefore don't think jealousy will be a problem for either of us.
15 Our sexual relationship is extremely good. TOTAL
Scoring Take away 5% if you have lived together for less than six months. If you are less than 70% compatible you may well have to struggle hard to maintain a long-term relationship and might be well advised to delay having for several years until you are sure that the relationship will work out. Less than 50% compatibility could be a sign not to rush into marriage.
If you received a poor score or it was not as good as you expected you might need assistance from a pre-marriage educator.

You're here not by chance,
but by God's choosing.
His hand formed you
and made you the person you are.
He compares you to no one else -
you are one of a kind.
You lack nothing that
His grace can't give you.
He has allowed you to be here
at this time in history
to fulfill His special purpose
for this generation.
