Congratulations to the nation of Mexico!!(home of my ancestors)

Wow,199 years of independence!!

And guess who was responsible for starting the revolution against Spain??

None other than a Spanish Catholic priest!

Yup,say what you want about Catholics, but in my book, they are allright!

as our Secratary of State,Hillary Clinton said yesterday,

"VIVA MEXICO!!"

today there are sceduled parades in every major city in the U.S.A,

only Dallas will have to cancel, due to bad weather conditions.

and again i say;

"Y QUE VIVA MEXICO!!!QUE VIVA LA REVOLUCION!!!"

CAN YOU LOSE YOUR SALVATION???????

well,if you can,

i suggest you call the manufacturer immediately and have it replaced.

or,

you might want to consider replacing the manufacturer!

i was given my salvation about 26 years ago,it was made by

JESUS,THE SAVIOR.

well, He guarentees His work.

in fact He guarenteed it over 2000 years ago, when he said

"It Is FINISHED"

so,if you go to the One who made my salvation, you can have the confidence that nothing could ever unfinish, what God has already finished!

"a history of mathematics"second edition,by;charles b.boyer

ok,this is a fascinating book,it really gives alot of information as to who discovered what blah, blah, and more blah.

it is very interesting.

i havent read the whole book,in fact i have probably onle read less than 5% of it,and i do not intend on reading the whole thing either, maybe only 1/4 of it when i am finished.

i try to jump back and forth to find out who discovered what, and when.

but i can tell you right now,the poor guy is pretty smart(mr.boyer)

but he misses it big time on a couple of things.

first of all, he refers to math as being mans only perfect thought,

well, unfortunately, mathamatical measurements made by a humans, with human instruments can never be perfect.

i know this because i have been working with measurements for the past 15 years.

in land surveying you are always given a "tolerance"
or,the amount of allowable error.

so,believe me,there is nothing perfect, nor will there ever be anything perfect with man-made mathematical measurements.

for example:

lets say there is a wall on a building that is supposed to be 100 feet long,

i can guarentee that it is not 100 feet long, believe me i have measured, and it never is.

it may be:

100.1 feet long,

100.01 feet long,

or even

100.001 feet long

but i promise you it is not exactly 100 feet long!

ONLY GOD COULD MAKE THAT WALL EXACTLY 100 FEET LONG!

FOR ONLY GOD HAS THE PERFECTION TO MAKE PERFECT MEASUSEMENTS!

mankind can only get it as close as is "humanly possible"

so mr. boyer,i am sorry to bust your bubble, but not even math is your perfect human thought.

i will agree, that math is as close to perfection as we can attain in things of "this world"

but only the things from the heavens, from God himself are perfect.

i can only wonder if there will be land surveying in heaven,
how increadibly awsome that day will be,to finally make perfect measurements,to finally see perfection in numbers,WOW,what an amazing day that will be!

a little bit of sports news...........

ok,lets see,

some of the biggest local news here in San Antonio is our local

little league team, winning 4th place in the "LITTLE LEAGUE WORLD SERIES"this tornament consists of 17,000 teams world wide.

to end up in 4th place out of 17,000 teams is pretty amazing!

the city of San Antonio is simply put, going crazy,we are very proud of our team accomplishing so much!

ok,also last night Mexico, beat Costa Rica 3-0 to help them qualify for a spot at "THE WORLD CUP".

after Mexico beat the USA 2-1 a few weeks ago, they shouldnt have too many problems making it to the world cup tournament!

ok,and last but certainly not least,MY CHICAGO BEARS,just accuired
Jake Cuttler, from the Denver Broncos this season.

if you dont know too much about football, you might say"and so what, who cares??!!"

but this signifies the first trade of this high level of quarter back, in the past 30 years!

i mean it really just doesnt happen that often!

Cuttler broke John Elways franchise record of passing yards in a single season, that is how good he is!

so....any hooooo, watch out all other teams in the NFL,thats all i am sayin for now!

TESTING,@ TEXAS WORKFORCE COMMISSION...........

well, here in texas they offer schooling,to help you get in another field,if your field lacks a demand for workers.

being that the economy has downsized the construction, land survey, and engineering industry to about 15% of its normal size, they can actually help me find another line of work.

but first i have to prove that i am smart enough for them to take the time to retrain me in another field!

so,they gave me about 3.5 hours of testing this week to see what are my strengths and weeknesses,to help put me in a new possible line of work.

the three basic catagories where;

MATH
LANGUAGE
READING

the scoring goes from (0-12.9)

zero being the lowest score,12.9 being the highest score.

but all you need to qualify for training in a certain field is a score of 9.0

so,in math i scored a 12.9,in reading i scored a 12.9,but in language i only scored 8.8.

so,i probably wouldnt make the best english teacher,or the best legal secratary.

well,i have a meeting with a TWC agent tuesday the 8th of september.

please pray the i can find training for the medical field,or at least another super strong field like that.

yes,and i know i didnt put enough capital letters on this post, and in some cases i didnt put enough commas, but you have to remember,i did only score an 8.8 in language!

"NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM" @ HEB GROCERY STORE.........

ok,yesterday i was at the grocery store.

and i noticed that there was a DVD on sale for 15.99,and it was the "NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM" (the original)

but i just purchased it for 3.33 at another local store,

so i got the same exact movie at a savings of 12.66 dollars.

so i am like,i dont really like to brag, but i have to tell this cashier, that i am like such a good shopper that i saved all this money.

and the cashier is like, who cares, but i am like wait a minute,i am not one of those guys who like wants the whole world to notice him,but i think this is a very note worthy savings and i think i need to be noticed, and or appreciated or at least given some attention for saving such a considerable amount of money.

but the cashier was like kind of sarcastic and was like "whatever, you saved some money, who cares"

well to me,i saved 79% of what i would have spent,i like to save money, but i dont usually save that much of money.

which brings into question, did i actually make that smart of a purchasing decision,or is HEB grocery ,just charging too much money.
