i got 2 windows xp books,1 windows vista book,and 1 for ipods!
pretty good deal!
i am reading the one for vista right now,it has some good info on how to connect your home pc to a VPN (virtual private network),that connects to your works domain(with your works network administrators permish of course) then it talks about creating an ad-hoc network. didnt know that you had to be less then 30 feet to connect in one of those.the ad-hoc networks are really helpful if you are doing a presentation at work,and you dont want to use an overhead projector.
you can create a mini network,with security settings if you wish,to display everything you are seeing to your audience.(on there computers)
all this info,from a book that cost 50 cents(normal price 25 bucks)
am i a good shopper or what??!!
there is a cute blondie librarian that gave me the heads up for the book sale.(thanks cute foxy librarian!! )

the legend goes that,as he was growing up in Spain,many moon ago,his freinds and family used to make fun of him saying
" Tortilus......bring us some more tortillas! "
well,as i am sure as you must know,that this young man was scarred by this,and he vowed vengence..weathwer it was on the people or the tortillas themselves...this all truely is not clear...but,
he went on to accomplish many great exploits,some of which included starting an arts and crafts school,and i think he started an insurance agency.
anyhooooo,my point is the dude is now famous because he didnt stand for all that nonsence,that and the fact that they didnt have cable tv way back then,he obviously had alot of time on his hands.
Tortilus...bring us some more tortillas!!! what a dweeb

wow...work is really beginning to get on my last nerve...
they change their minds more than a fickel woman.
it is really beginning to get circus like.
even the supervisors are like....ummmm...i know i told you something earlier today....but ....ummm.they changed their minds.
that ,to me is a clear cut sign that a company isnt going any where.
when you are constanly changing your mind,you are basically going in circles.
even the bible says that a double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
instead of spending hundreds of millions of dollars fixing sh*ty equipment how about only spending millions to build it right to begin with????????? even a five year old has more sence than that!!!
please pray for me,i can tell this is not the company for me.
maybe i can find a company in this same feild that takes just a little pride(not the sinful kind) in what they build,and in what they sell.
blessings...really ,please keep me in your prayers!
maybe this is my chance to finally move to the valley,there are major networks over there that have 2 different big call centers,maybe it is finally time!

well,i didnt get the sup job.
but the good news is they did acknowledge my interest in advancing,and are willing to coach me to get there!
so,for now i am going to edit my resume,and just focus on accomplishments instead of a bunch of details on the resume.
oh, and some how my cover letter got lost on line some where.
but the good news is there is already another supervisor position available.
oh well,i will keep on trying until i get it!!!
why you ask???
because my life is real borin,its either this or pick up a hobby!
dont really need the money,but if you think about it,there is always something you can buy,right??
with the money in hand,i will probably like "oh,i like this shiny object,and oh i want that little gadget"

ok,i now am a permanent employee,with 2 weeks vacation a year,5 paid holidays...and oh...i also get medical insurance!! yippie!!!
with a 50 cent an hour raise....yippie!!!
i think i will walk outside with wet hair just to test my new medical insurance!
you know,just to give it a test drive! haha!
oh,wait i forgot i am in south texas,my hair will just dry up faster that way!
