And He Shall Wipe Away Every Tear From Her Face

Well it just sickens my soul and spirit about the latest killing of an innocent that we have heard of on the news of late.Yes,I am talking about that adorable, carefree, trusting Sandra Cantu from Tracy,California. That precious, beloved
little girl who was not only a of her parents but was a of Jesus that was physically defiled and murdered.

Now like Christ,Sandra's little undefiled spirit has risen to heaven, and she is with God eternally and He shall wipe away every tear from her face.

And those who are left behind are left to shake their heads once again wondering how anyone could be that evil, who could do things of such nature to anyone, much less a small .

It seems of late we see scenes on the news of grave evil and wickedness being played out as part and parcel of everyday life.
Husbands murdering wives, boyfriends murdering pregnant girlfriends, women stabbing boyfriends, little being horribly abused and killed.

This world is ripe in iniquity and you can't tell me we're not on the Eve of Destruction.

And there's always some excuse given for this bad behavior;
"They had a awful childhood","They have mental health issues","They were abused themselves";as if that excuses them from being held accountable. For once it would be nice to hear the truth from if not them{as most I'm sure HAVE NO TRUTH in THEM}then others around them.

What a sick-sin filled world we live in and all I can say is:

Lord,Jesus,Come Quickly!

About 400 parishioners, including members of the Cantu family,
packed into the cafeteria of a local high school to hear Journey Christian Church Pastor Scott McFarland's Easter sermon.
Journey was one of more than a dozen local churches that mobilized its members on Sunday to pray and fast for the Cantu family.McFarland sent a special message to the Cantu family that,
like Christ,Sandra's spirit has risen to heaven.

"Jesus is out of the tomb and Sandra is too",McFarland told the Associated Press after the sermon."She's not in a grave, she's not in a suitcase. She's in heaven and celebrating the best Easter ever".

John14:1-6
Let not your heart be troubled:ye believe in God,believe also in me.In my Fathers house are many mansions:if it were not so,I would have told you.I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you,I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am,there ye may be also.
And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
Thomas saith unto Him,Lord,we know not whither thou goest;and how can we know the way?Jesus saith unto Him,I am the way,the truth, and the life:no man cometh unto the Father but by me.

John14:27
Peace I leave with you:my peace I give unto you,not as the world giveth, give I unto you.Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Mark16:6
And he saith unto them,be not affrighted:Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified:he is risen;behold the place where they laid him.

Matthew24:35
Heaven and earth shall pass`away, but my words shall not pass away.

My prayers go out to Sandra's family and community.
May they find strength and peace in the Lord.

What Is Biblical Repentance?

What Is Biblical Repentance?

Biblical repentance is repenting and believing in Jesus atoning work on the cross for salvation NOT your own work.

Acts11:18
When they heard these things they held their peace and glorified God saying,"Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life".

The Bible does not call this a repentance from sins but a repentance unto life which can only be found in Jesus Christ. The Word of God does not teach that we must give up our sins to be saved. If this were true no one could be saved because we are all sinners incapable of ceasing to sin.As we are saved and listen to the Holy Spirit of God He will convict us of sin but are by no means perfect but are being perfected.

There is a misunderstanding about repentance circulating in some churches today & even here on the blogs.Biblical repentance is turning to Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of our sins.It is a change of mind.

Mark1:15
The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand;repent ye,and believe the Gospel.Repentance leads to believing the Gospel. No mention is made of forsaking our sins.

So do Christians have a license to sin?Of course not.But that is another point we will get to later.
The only thing we need to repent of is our unbelief.Do we have to realize our sinful condition to be saved?Of course we do!If we didn't realize it why would we think we were in need of a Saviour then.We don't give up our sins to become a christian rather we forsake our sins because we know are Christians.

The repentance unto salvation is a`one time repentance but the repentance from sins has no limit.Just as a person cannot be unborn physically,neither can we be unborn spiritually.Once we are truly saved,we are always saved!To teach otherwise is to add works to faith alone and corrupt the simplicity that is in Christ.{2Corinthians11:3,4}

Once a person is saved they begin to grow in grace by feeding on the truth of Gods Word{1Peter2:2}Gods Holy Spirit works in that persons heart and only then do we see the fruit of genuine repentance.A changed life is the FRUIT of genuine repentance and NOt a prerequisite to salvation or a part of saving faith.

Proponents of Lordship Salvation place the cart before the
and have it all backwards. The change comes as a result of true
repentance;not as a means to it.

In Mark1:4
John the Baptist speaks of"repentance for the remission of sins;"
NOT"repentance of sins."

Acts20:21 reads:
Testifying both to the Jews and also to the Greeks, repentance
toward God,and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.Notice that Biblical repentance is toward God.

Acts11:21
And the hand of the Lord was with them;and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord.

This is Biblical repentance ,turning to the Lord.To turn toward Jesus Christ in faith for salvation,is to turn ones back against sin even though the person may not be able to forsake all sin at the time of salvation.

Repentance is the regocgnition of my sinship-the owning before God that I am as vile as He has declared me to be in His Holy Word.

This is vastly different than ceasing from ones sin to be saved,
which is a false gospel. This is why we need a Saviour.

Repentance and faith are inseparable. You don't repent & then have faith the two go hand in hand.

The internet is plagued with heretics who teach that a person must forsake their sinful life to be saved.

2Corinthians5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ,he is a new creature old things are passed away;behold, all things are become new.

A man does not become a new creature until AFTER he is in Christ{saved}.The change comes AFTER a person is saved,NOT before, but
AFTER.If a person claims to be a Christian but continues to lead a wicked life, then one would sincerely doubt that persons salvation as well. However I am not going to start teaching damnable heresy by saying that sinners must forsake their sins to be saved.

salvation comes by childlike faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, nothing may be added.
Once a man becomes a new creature in Christ, then he begins to change by the power of Gods spirit in Him.

Was John,Jesus"Beloved"Disciple"?

Was John,Jesus"Beloved"Disciple"?

I know that I have always heard and been taught that Jesus beloved disciple was John but as I have been reading more of the Bible it doesn't really say who the beloved disciple is but it is implied to some degree.

According to the Gospel of John, the beloved disciple was the one who leaned on Jesus during the Last supper and the only male disciple present at the crucifixion. But His name is never given.
In the other 3 Gospels the name"beloved disciple"is never mentioned and they don't say anything about him leaning on Jesus or being present at the crucifixion of Christ either.
According to the early church{but not too early}John, the of Zebedee, the brother of James, was him.And John is identified as the actual author of the Gospel of John according to the church.

We know that He was a man & that Mary went to live with him after Jesus death. In Acts1:14 it says that she was part of the early community of believers, known as the Nazarenes, who lived in Jerusalem at that time so the beloved disciple most likely lived in or near Jerusalem too.

The Gospel of John gives a detailed description of Jesus interrogation by the Jewish leaders & Pilate and it sounds like firsthand knowledge although one can not be totally sure. Also as he stood by the cross of Jesus & none of the other disciples did as far as we know evidently he wasn't afraid of being arrested or most likely he had more courage and total trust and love in Jesus than the rest.

As Jesus had secret disciples such as Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus that also lived in Jerusalem I'm sure He had others as well.So just who is the disciple that Jesus loved?

The church has always identified him from the second century on as John Zebedee. Some think Lazarus could be the beloved disciple and they base that on John11:1-3 which says that as Lazarus lay sick, his sisters{Mary & Martha}sent a message to Jesus which said,"Lord, the one you love is sick".
Also in John11:5 and John11:36 it is stated that "Jesus loved Lazarus."

But John never mentions Lazarus by name again after chapter 12.
So I'm not so sure about that.

Also I was trying to figure out if John was Jesus cousin?

John was one of the first disciples called; He witnessed the miracle Christ had over death at the house of Jarius;Jesus took him to the mount of the transfiguration. He was in the garden of Gethsemane; He beheld Jesus glory & majesty. He initially started out as a " of Thunder" but later became quite humble and filled with humility .He was peaceful and happy in the Lords presence. He displayed a disposition totally different from his natural one and was quite blessed as being insightful into Christs agape love for him & others.

And in John 21:24 John states:
This is the disciple which testifies of these things and wrote these things and we know that his testimony is true.

So I think John was the beloved disciple after all.

Does anyone have any insight into this?

What Does True Repentance Entail?

True Repentance?

Gods Word tells us that by repenting and believing in Christ we will be saved and also that the Holy Spirit will dwell inside us at that moment of salvation and forevermore.

So why is it that 50% of people who say they believed on Jesus have turned their backs on Him?Is it because He is not faithful to uphold us as the Bible states?God forbid! No!

No,perhaps it is because people have not truly repented of their sins.Belief and repentance go hand in hand.

Repentance means you fully realize what a sinner you truly are,the depth of your depravity and that and without Jesus to save you,you are fully doomed & can't save yourself.

If one is truly saved the Holy Spirit will move in you & convict you and He{the spirit of God}will guide your steps forevermore.

2Corinthians7:10
For godly sorrow produces repentance to salvation.

Godly sorrow is what causes this repentance to occur and once the Holy Spirit moves in you He will illuminate your mind & heart of your sinful nature so you have the conviction and the power to change.

God commands that we repent:

Acts17:30
Truly these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent.

Acts3:19
Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out,so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.

Luke13:5
I tell you,No;but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.

Mark2:17
Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners,to repentance.

So in order to be truly saved and converted one needs to be truly repentant with godly sorrow not worldly sorrow.

Romans2:4
The goodness of God leads you to repentance.

So God is causing a godly sorrow to be in us so we can see what sinners we truly are.At the same time He is showing us His goodness. He also shows us a way out of our sinful state and nature by the blood of Jesus shed on the cross.

Once one realizes how good, merciful and loving God and Jesus really are one can never walk away from their salvation as God is faithful to complete a good work in you.

Psalm51:2
Have mercy upon me,Oh God,according to thy lovingkindness;according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

Mark1:15
The time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God is at hand:Repent ye,and believe the Gospel.

John3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten ,that whosoever believeth in Him,should not perish but have everlasting life.

Obama's Deep Bow To The Saudi King

Michelle Malkin Said It Best,"Emetic Alert!"

Well it seems that leading up to the visit of President Obama with the Queen of England there has been much speculation if he would bow to her as others do,as that is considered traditional protocol. As you can see if you watched the news or on the internet instead of bowing he nodded his head slightly.

From the Queen of Englands website which applies to her own subjects this is what it said:

The Queen meets thousands of people each year from the U.K. and overseas. Before meeting "Her Majesty"many people ask how they should behave. The simple answer is their are no obligatory codes
of behaviour-just courtesy.
However, many people wish to observe the traditional forms of greeting.
For men this is a neck bow{from the head only}while woman do a small curtsy.Yea,I could just picture Michelle Obama doing that!{Which she didn't}.Other people prefer simply to shake hands in the usual way.

Americans do not bow to foreign monarchs because that act signifies the monarchs power over his/her subjects.

Also given the fact?one is a Christian neither the Queen,Pope or any King will get my bow except the one true King, the King of Kings,Jesus Christ.

So I wonder why President Obama made a deep full waist bow to the King of Saudi Arabia? As I have read this is not protocol for
heads of state it makes him look like either a bufoon or worse yet,a subject of the King.

For those who claim this is not a bow check out the footage on
Michelle Malkin,Obama deep bow to the Saudi King.

My,my,just what is this world coming to?

Ephesians6:10-11
Be strong in the Lord and the power of His might.Put on the full armour of God so that you can take your stand against the devils schemes.

In the world I live in there's a battle going on everyday but praise God the battle belongs to the Lord.

Ephesians6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

The Battle Belongs to The Lord

In heavenly armour we'll enter the land
The battle belongs to the Lord
No weapon thats fashioned against us will stand
The battle belongs to the Lord
We sing glory, honour Power and strength to the Lord
We sing glory, honour Power and strength to the Lord.

When the power of darkness comes in like a flood
The battle belongs to the Lord
He's raised up a standard, the Power of His blood
The battle belongs to the Lord.

And we sing glory, honour,Power and strength to the Lord
We sing glory, honour,Power and strength to the Lord.

When your enemy presses in hard,do not fear
The battle belongs to the Lord
Take courage my friend-your redemption is near
The battle belongs to the Lord.

And we sing glory, honour,Power and strength to the Lord
We sing glory, honour Power and strength to the Lord.

And we sing glory, honour Power and strength to the Lord
We sing glory, honour Power and strength to the Lord.

Ephesians6:13
Therefore put on the full armour of God,so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything,to stand.Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all
this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish
all the flaming arrows of the evil one.Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
And pray in the spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind,be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

Words Of Assurance

John16:33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation:but be of good cheer,I have overcome the world.

What victory - and to think that we are a part of it."As my Father hath sent me,even so send I you."Christ in you,the hope of glory.

2Kings19:14
And Hezekiah received a letter of the hand of the messengers, and
read it:and Hezekiah went up into the house of the Lord, and spread it before the Lord.

We should be as wise with the burdens of life and take them before the Lord and leave them before they take us under."He careth for you"

Joel 2:25
And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar and the palmerworm,my great army which I sent among you.

If you feel like you have thrown your life to the wind, take a look at the only one who can make you a winner. He is the author of time and can make up for all that's lost.Take Jesus today and watch how quickly He can take a life of wasted years and defeat and turn it all into victory.Let Him!

Isaih48:10
Behold,I have refined thee but not with silver;I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.

The servant is not greater than his Lord and as Jesus was tested in the furnace of affliction and persecution, even so it is the furnace that refines us and makes us fit for real service. But always remember,"He knoweth our frames"and He is our strength in every trial.

Romans8:35
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?

Many have tried to separate Gods people from Him in various ways, but He says,"I will be with him in trouble.Men have hidden out in caves to read the Bible;they have been burned at the stake and thrown to the lions, but God has brought them through it all.
"Our anchor holds."

Acts18:10
For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee:for I have much people in this city.

In your darkest hour, remember that He who holds the whole world in the palm of His hand is watching and able to deliver."for He shall give His angels charge over thee,to keep thee in all thy ways.

Et tu Brute?

Benjamin Netanyahu was sworn in today as Israel's Prime Minister returning to a post he held a decade ago and with no explicit commitment to the internationaly backed goal of Palestinian statehood.

"The government I am forming will do its utmost to achieve a just
and lasting peace with all our neighbors and the Arab world in general,"Netanyahu told parliment yesterday. But in that address Netanyahu again made no mention of the establishment of a Palestinian state alongside Israel, which is the main goal of peace efforts backed by its ally the United States.

Perhaps having lived for years in close proximity with terrorists and having had their bombs fall on his country while
"they sought peace"has given Netanyahu a different perspective on this matter.

Jeremiah6:14

They dress the wound of my people as if it were not serious.
'Peace, peace,'they say, when their is no peace.

The administration of U.S.President Barak Obama wants Israel to freeze construction in the West Bank and is considering cutting U.S.loan guarantees to penalize Israel and to show Netanyahu's government that Washington is serious about Israel closing settlements and agreeing to a Two-State solution.

After having been a friend of Israel for decades this is what it has come to.

Et tu,Brute?

How dare President Obama strong arm Israel into ceding land for peace when only a fool would believe this is a workable solution while terrorists still run Gaza and are backed by Iran and their ultimate goal is the complete destruction of Israel.God help America, the land of the misguided.

Out Of The Abundance Of The Heart The Mouth Speaketh

Matthew15:11
Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth man;but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

Ephesians4:29
Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only
what is helpful for building others up according to their needs,
that it may benefit those who listen.

Matthew15:17-20
Do not yet ye understand that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly and is cast out in the draught?
But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart and they defile the man;for out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornification, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things which defile a man...

Jesus teaches that when one curses or uses profanity it is a sign of evil that is in a mans heart.Lots of people seem to be cursing in this world today and they do not see it as the evil condition of their heart. The Bible says cursing will defile the whole man/woman if not repented of and stopped. One can certainly see that cursing is used to vent anger and also to put other people down and is used as a way to demean people. As these words are neither uplifting or edifying it is the devil who inspires people to curse and call people derogatory names.

If we are followers of Christ and want edify the Lord by others who might be seeking Him or even be taken seriously by other Christians we need to learn to tame the tongue. We do not have to use curse words or put downs to emphasize what we mean as not only will this defile the person doing it and no one will take the persons intent as anything but corrupt.A believer in Christ does not continuously praise God on one side of the mouth and then curse our brothers on the other side. Our speech will always indicate what is in our hearts. And this is uncharacteristic of a true believer filled with the Holy Spirit of God.We have not been called to mediocracy but have been called to greatness and we are called to glorify God in all we do.

One needs to pray in sincerity and think humbly before they speak and ask themselves if this is edifying to others or the body of Christ. If not it is better to refrain from talking at all til one can at least talk in a civil manner.

Colosians3:8
But now ye also put off all these:anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.Lie not to one another seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that created Him.

Matthew12:34-36
O generation of vipers, how can ye,being evil speak good things?for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.A good
man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things;and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth
evil things. But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they should give account thereof in the day of judgement.

James3:9-12
With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men,who have been made in Gods likeness.Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers, this should not be.
Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring?
My brothers, can a fig tree bear olives,or a grapevine bear figs?
Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water.

Psalm19:14
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart,be acceptable in thy sight,O Lord,my strength, and my redeemer.

Interesting Quotes By Native Americans

I have a friend who is of Native American descent and he was telling me about his ancestors and also about this website:
first people dot us It was very interesting and informative because mostly what I've learned about Native Americans in school was propaganda. Also listening to some of these men speak it clearly shows you that then as well as now,in order to be effective ambassadors for Christ we must practice what we preach by action and deed,in spirit and truth as well as words. Words alone can be misconstrued as one can see by the second from last post.Never- the- less when God saves,He moves effectively and Christianity spread pretty fast through the Native American people at and after this time.

Some of our chiefs make the claim that the land belongs to us.
It is not what the great spirit told me.He told me that the lands belong to Him,that no people owns the land;that I was not to forget to tell this to the white people when I met them in council.

Tecumseh - Shawnee

What white man can say I ever stole his land or a penny of his money?Yet they say I am a thief.
What white woman, however lonely, was ever captive or insulted by me?Yet they say I am a bad Indian.
What white man has ever seen me drunk?
Who has ever come to me hungry and left me unfed?Who has ever seen me beat my wives or abuse my ?What law have I broken?
Is it wrong of me to love my own?Is it wicked for me because my skin is red?Because I am a Sioux?Because I was born where my Father lived?Because I would die for my people and my country?

If the great spirit has desired me to be a white man he would
have made me so in the first place. He put in your heart certain wishes and plans;in my heart he put other and different desires.

Sitting Bull - Teton Sioux

Brother,we have been told that you have been preaching to the white people in this place. These people are our neighbors. We are acquainted with them.We will wait a little while and see what affect your preaching has upon them.If we find it does them good and makes them honest and less disposed to cheat us,we will then
consider again becoming Christians.

Brother you say their is but one way to worship and serve the great spirit,if there is but one religion, why do you white people differ so much about it?Why not all agreed,as you can all read the Book?
Red Jacket{Sogoyewapha} - Seneca

Something is wrong with the white mens council. When the Micmac people used to have council, the old men would speak and tell the young men what to do-and the young men would listen and do what
the old men told them to do.The white men have changed that too:
Now the young men speak, and the old men listen.I believe the Micmac council was far better.
Peter Paul 1805

The English in general are a noble, generous minded people, free to act and free to think. They very much pride themselves on their

No nation,I think can be more fond of novelties than the English;
they gaze upon foreigner as if they had just dropped down from the moon...
They are truly industrious, and in general, very honest and upright. But there close attention to business procedures,I think,
too much wordly-mindedness,and hence they forget to think enough

Peter Jones{Kahkewaquonaby"Sacred Waving Feathers}Ojibwe

Much has been said of the want of what you term"civilization"

Chief Red Cloud - Sioux

We do not want churches because they will teach us to quarrel with God,as the Catholics and Protestants do.We do not want to learn that.
We may quarrel with men sometimes about things on earth but we never quarrel about God.We do want to learn that.

were doing. This was the case with myself and my people touching the goose quill for the very first time.We can only judge what is proper and right by our standard of right and wrong which differs widely from the whites,if I have been correctly informed.
The whites,if I have been correctly informed. The whites may do bad all their lives, and then,if they are sorry for it when they are about to die,all is well!
Black Hawk - Sauk

When it comes time to die,be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death,so when their time comes they weep
and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again
in a different way.Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.
Chief Aupumut - Mohican
