hi all, i have just caught up with a friend of mine who has returned from a compassion post in Haiti...(Dominican Republic), very eye opening pictures to see.....and story to hear....Haiti there is 70% unemployment with 80% poverty...the fortunate one who have jobs work for a mere 44cents a day ....they live in cardboard and tin structures and it is not unusual for a family to have in excess of six ....whom they feed a substance called "pica" made of yellow dirt salt and shortening then baked into cookies ..this pics takes the moisture out of your mouth and has an extremely foul taste ..(according to my friend)...to top it of this ics is sold at the rate of $5.00 for 100 ccookies...sad isn't it ...compassion seeks people to sponsor at a rate of $44.00 per month...doesn't sound like much when you compare it to the richness of what we have in this country, i am not asking for anything but for the christian community to be aware of such things that are going on in what seems a different world than that we live in ...praise the Lord

here i am once again to share with you all my story ....i met a man who seemed OK the more i got to know him the more i realised he was not sent to me through our Lord ...we were on totally different wave lengths both moraly and spiritualy ....this man was told on many occaisions that i had no interest in him what so ever nor did i want to be in any type of romantic relationship with him .....He plainly ignored me and proceeded to tell people we were dating somewhat ....he then proceeded to ask me ...."even though U dont think of me romantically do U mind if when we are together i think of it romantically ?"....what should i of answered you ask yourselves....i answered NO...
well then this so called christian man not only got his nose out of joint but then made a concious decision to approach one of my other male friends and tell him that we had been sharing details of his life .
...WHY i ask would some one go to such lengths to tell such absurd stories...?...just to be spiteful i think
please help me with some ideas c/c..
i am sitting back thinking that such behaviour from a fool such as this should not be tolerated and leave it up to the lord to deal with...
I have made a very clear break from such a person .......
i am so very gratful to the Lord for showing me the signs about this mere male who is not really a man of God no matter how much ................he portrays it to lots and lots of people !...... ...............ladies beware not all males on BC are actually dedicated christians.....they must walk the walk not just talk the talk!!!!!!!!!!...........GBU ALL

christmas around the corner....7 weeks and 6 days away...remember JESUS

well as we can all see christmas is just around the corner , ppl are starting to think about what they should buy, cook, where they should eat who will host the day which family membersw will attend so on. and so on ....does this sound like it is going on in your head ,....my family has decided to do a chris cringle this year as our family seems to expand yearly...we were once upon a time 4 we are now 24,,,and no doubt will be a few more next yr....opne thing i would like to share with you is one of our family traditions...we get together on christmas eve arounf 10pm after we have all done our days necessities...we gather around while my mother who is 80 says a family prayer in which she writes something about each member...we then go on to have home made sweets and watch a christian movie ..the nativity ...at 11.30 we all go to church where there is a childrens mass and carols are also sang ...we then arrive back at our respective homes about 3 am ...where all beg to open up .."just one present"..mmmmmm....then off to bed we all go ...now that all the are alder we will not have to madly be santa ...that is why we also have decided on chris cringle....we still all try and see who can be the first awake..then run and ring eacfh other up....then jump back into bed.....hehehe...my oldest brother or are usually the fiorst up around 5 ish ...one thing we always do as a family is we realise that JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON >>>>>and christmas day is spent replaying the story of the birth of jesus we have a family skit ...which has already been organised so we all come together to celebrate this season and praise our Lord for this amazing life we have been blessed with ......i hope you all enjoy christmas with your families and praise the Lord.....Bless you All and have a wonderful Christmas....blessings Rita xxx GB

Hi y'all
i am a little confused after reading some of the blogs on this site and have to ask my self and all of the BC community .....why is there so many negative vibes going on around here.....
people putting down others for their denomination
people bagging others for their relationships
people disagreeing with one anothers opinions
so called christian people trying to hook up with christians ...when they're fakes ....
etc etc etc
judging and more judging and even more judging.....is it really up to us as christian to do?....
WHY ?..............pls shed some light on this load
and i know that we are all only human ...BUT

My eldest is getting married tomorrow to a wonderful man the lORD brought to her, they are an amazing couple and i just wanted to share my happiness and joy with U...will you join me in wishing them well with a pray for happy couple may they always please heavenly father with in all their choices and may they have a blessed marriage....amen...thanks

hi all
it has been brought to my attention that here on BC...yes a christian fellowship site , there seems to be a fair amount of dare i say (bitchin) towards one another friends against friends, contacts against contacts...i am quite aware of the fact that we DO live in a world that is full of satan's influence and that we are all ONLY human..........BUT do people REALLY have to behave in such a negative way towards one another ....it wasn't so long ago that i played shall i say with a member ...who was looking forward to a cat fight with who ever was willing to give comply....now we have local people cavorting in open displays of negativity ....lets just say i really thought the members on this site were a little more cleaver than to participate in such rot.....but i also know that it can be veryeasy to fall into the trap ....i have been blessed with many acquantances on BC but i feel we should all make and effort to be positive towards one another and leave the crap where it belongs ...out on the street .....take care and thanks for taking the time to pass by and read my moments thought...GBU ALL

this is a short cut to a womans thinking for you guys, and why guys shake there heads in dismay ......
the female always makes the rules,
the rules are subject to change at any time with out prior notification,
no male can possibly know all the rules,
if the female suspects the male knows all the rules, she must immediately change some, or all of the rules.
the female is never wrong,
if the female is wrong...it is due to a missunderstanding, which was a direct result of something the male did or said wrong.
the male must appologise immedialtey, for causing the said missunderstanding.
the female may change her mind at any time.
the male must never change his mind, with out the expressed written consent of the female.
the female has every right to be upset or angry at any time PMS
the male must remain clam at all times, unless the female wants him to show emotion.
the female must under no circumstances let the male know whether or not she wants him to show any emotion.
the male is expected to mind read at all times
the female is ready to go when she is ready.
the male must be ready to go at all times.
any attemp to documentthe rules could result in bodily harm.
the male who doesnt abide by the rules, can't take the heat, lacks backbone, and is a whimp.
