Today my blog is not about bibical verses, but it's about taking into account all the things I learnt on my short journey here on BC.

I love being here, I learn a lot, yet something deep inside of me is telling to take a rest from here for a while. I will be back, I think what I need is personal time with God.

As a friend said christianity is not about mass production it is tailor-made. My christian walk will differ from the next and my experience very different.

I would like to thank everyone who crossed my path.

1. Two cents - Keep smiling and love your honesty
2. Fieldlilies - We share the same birthday and we
both Jan.
I will miss your blogs especially
currernt affairs on christians being
persecuted.
3.Gen1Rev22 - Keep writing, will catch your blogs on FB
4.4Gvnrn - I like your simplicity in conveying
things.
5.Miriana3 - Love your blogs, you have a way with
words.
6.Heavenly sights - You made me feel at home.
7.Racefan4 - I like the way you potray issues.
8.Helsrisenrejoice - You are a solider in christ keep it up
girl.
9.Jeremiah1five - Honestly, I did not like you at first,
just being honesty, but realised you
are okay. In the midst of the
contradicatory comments, I have to put
my hands up and say you are brave
enough to defend the word of God the
only way you know how. 1 Peter 3v15.
I do feel your approach has changed and
to me that is a good sign. I did learn
from you. Thank you.
10. Joncon - You are new, but the few comments I
have read you are very insightful, yet
you can be very contradictory but that's
okay too, you just standing for your
beliefs.

Big church made me grow spiritually and I will always be a part of this big family.

To all those who I forgot please forgive me, and take care.

1 John 2 verse 15 Do not be loving either the world or things
in the world. If anyone loves the world, the
love of the father is not in him.
16 Because everything in the world the desire of
the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the
showy display of one's means of life, does not
originate with the father but originate with
the world.

James 4 verse 7 Subject yourselves, therefore to God, but oppose
the devil and he will flee
from you.

8 Draw close to God and he will
draw close to you. Cleanse
your hands, you sinners and
purify your heart, you
indecisive ones.

According to Wikipedia, visiual perception is the ability to interprete information and surrondings from the effects of visible light reaching the eye.

My understanding is that our eyes influence our emotions and intensfies the desire that is sown in our hearts. Satan has monopolised on this sense of sight. He has ensured that he represents a world that potrays a sense of beauty that is reachable, intoxicating and irresistible and yet very addictive just by THE BLINK OF AN EYE. through a designed and cunning way satan has achieved to simulate the desire of our heart through our eyes. Lots of immoral images like porn, movies, games and gambling are just a flick away from our computers, television and even our mobile phones. In this world the devil has marginalised his world to what people can see and touch but excluded feelings and morality.

As christians we are not immune to these wild and corrupted desires of the flesh and just like everyone else we are bombarded with images that are subjective, and very immoral, and sometimes as we are forced to absorb these images, through bill board advertising and so on. We somehow fight so much to let these images go to our trash tray of our heart and we continue to purify our hearts with the word of God. Each day we know that some of our body organs will become the source of our stumbling and each day as we lie down to sleep we are thankful that we managed to keep our heads above the water. Each morning we are aware that the fight is not over, the danger of a sin ATTACK is a blink away.

We need to keep ourselves focused on the word of God and allow the spirit of God to change us and at most to achieve our goal we should not leave anything to chance, even the very part of our body members that conflict with our walk with God. We need to change even small things that seem trivial and subtle yet can be detrimental to our walk with christ.

- it could be the company we keep
- Our entertainment we indulge in
- our jobs we are involved in

Food for thoughts.

Matt 18 v 3 And said, Verily I say unto you, except ye be
converted, and become as little , ye
shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
2 Tim 3 v 7 Ever learning and never able to come to the
Knowledge of the truth.
Hosea 4 v 6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge,
because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also
reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me
seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I
will forget thy .

Recently I went to the British Museum on a bible tour, and was not sure what to expect, but was amazed how my love of the word of God was ignited to a new level. It dawned to me that I was a touch away from historical evidence that was recorded in the holy book, the bible. This put a lot of my understanding of the word into a different perspective.

After the tour I found myself drawn to the book of Daniel and I was captivated by Daniel's loyalty and courage towards God. Daniel did not have it easy he had to display his loyalty under immense pressure, he was being groomed to conform to his present surrondings by the King Nebuchadnezar. The King wanted to assimilate Daniel and three other Hebrews into Babylonian way of life and to alienate them from their God. Daniel was determined to avoid polluting his faith and conform to pressure and temptations, and as we read the account of Daniel we know he was faithful to the end.

It is this loyalty that made me blog today. To be loyal, is a act born out of love. This love is so great that it is inscripted in our hearts. This love though real is very rare as loyalty comes with a price, a price most of us cannot take because we are not aware what the word of God requires of us. At most the spritiual world and the earthly requirements run so parallel. In showing our allegiance to God, we are bound to forgo most of our material we acquired, we might have to loose close loved ones, our ideal career, and even change course of plan.

It draws me to the most important question of all? How much of the word of God do we truly stand by and believe in. I for one am still at loss and admit my understanding of God's word is still under construction. God is revealing himself everyday to me, I intend not to just understand the word, but to own it and make it mine by my action. I have found certain part of the bible very difficult to comprehend and I truly and openly bring this to God's attention, after all he knows my heart condition, no point in pretending.

It is sad that though we have great access to the bible than any previous generation we pay scant attention to its content with devasting result. We are drowning in information but starved for knowledge. What concerns God is the pitiful lack of spiritual knowledge, therefore essentially alienating ourselves from God.

We need to be clothed with spirit of humility, one can not enter into the spirit design and enjoy the priviledges that come with the territory.

GOD BLESS ALL!!!!

THE MORAL GIANT- JESUS CHRIST

Our God has dignified us by giving us free will. Although he is God Almight, he forces no-one to serve him, obey him but he appeals to people on the basis of love, blessing to those who respond accordingly.

Should we not be led by his example when fostering connection towards his word, to apply the same wisdom. As we minister his word we should be ready to present the good nesw in a manner worthy of our merciful God. Because humans are imperfect, personality clashes occur, and this can cause others to stumble.

Colossians 3 ver 23 -24 reads

23 :Whatever you are doing, work at it whole-souled as to Jehovah and not to men
24: for you know that it is from Jehovah you will receive the due
reward of his inheritance. Slave for the master christ.

As we minister this good new of our God we should be careful to understand why, and who we are representing and we should guard against seraching out our own glory as Proverb 25 verse 27 clearly states.

27 : The eating of too much honey is not good and for people to search out their own glory is it glory

As receipent to God's word, we should allow God's spirit to clarify matters, when in doubt, as we know our loyality should only stand bearing toward God's kingdom, just because someone comes professing the word of the God,means nothing if he does not display the fruitage of the spirit stated in Galatian 5 ver 22 which reads:

22: On the other hand, the fruitage of the spirit is love, joy, PEACE, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith.

we should gladly submit to authority but always keep an eye to those who cause division

Romans 16 v 17 reads:
Now I exhort you brothers to keep your eyes on those who causes divisons and occassions for stumbling contray to the teaching they you have learned, and avoid them.
Lastly the way I understood the word in John 14 v 6

6 :it reads jesus said to him, I am the way and the truth and the life. No-one comes to my father except through me.

Whether God spirit assigns someone to clarify the word for us, a dream, a prophecy is another story but we get to our father only through him, and he still allows us to use free will in exercising this right to go to him. How awesome is our Lord. He also does not force his holy spirit to unwilling receipents. Luke 11 verse 13

What saddens me is how this blog will be scrutinized, misunderstood and justified, in the event to invade the real truth that we all have failed short of glory, whether or not we are the discreet slave or beginners as me. I call unto to all of us today, to search deep in our conscience and look at ourselves truthfully.

It is okay as a brother pointed out to me that divison is a matter of bringing the word to reality as suggested by 1corth 11v19 reads;
19: For there must also be sects among you that the persons approved may also become manifest among you.

JESUS WAS SUCH A MORAL GIANT, can we be able to imitate him, probably not, but at least he is my hero, because he captivated people by speaking with authority, and never took glory for himself considering his station. How humble.

God bless.

Today went into London to meet up with a friend for lunch. I took the underground tube train to go to London Bridge, where we met up. We had a lovely day, and when we parted ways, I went in the tube train to get home.

The train had five stops, on the third stop, a man walked in, the seat next to me was empty. This guy looked at me and with no provocation just blurted out I hate sitting next to these N****
I was flabbergasted, and everyone around me looked at me for a reaction. Maybe they thought I would become a drama queen and let this guy sweat it out. I looked away and just pretended it never happened.

I phoned my friend when I got overground to catch my last train home, and somehow they did not find the funny side of things..Well what can I say. That's life, other than the slander, I had a brilliant saturday.

HE PLAYS DIRTY!!!!

To know and not to do is still not to know.

No matter how much we profess about God, we should not only agree with God's word we must own it. Until we own it we will always be faint hearted christians. We need to pay the price of developing good spiritual habits and in the end achieve fruitage of the spirit, like Gal 5 v 22 states

The reason is that we are up against a ruthless, cunning opposition who plays dirty. The devil!!!
When I turned my back on my old life I equipped myself with getting an insight on my sins, so I would not repeat the same sins. I was tired of carrying the same heavy load of guilt as a result of my sin and reflecting on it surely changed my life. My task was to name my sins and this gave me freedom to face them head on. As I named then I was amazed to discover how corroded my life had become. The level of justification I awarded my actions was unbelievable. I was baffled how conscience becomes so flismy. I was willing to push the boundaries of sin. Living in a world of moral decay where everything is justifiable as long as there is a theory to back it up and where most behaviours could be classified as illness. Without God's respect and holy spirit there is no sense of accountability. In this word sin is sustainable, tolerable and unavoidable without God.

The devil plays his game, a game with very little rules where anything is possible. He has no conscience, he is selfish, two-faced, self-centered just a few of his qualities. His main goal is to ensure that he penetrates to our heart and soul and destroy the very core property that links us to God our spiritual existence. THAT IS PLAYING DIRTY!!! He will use anything, anyone at his disposal to achieve his goal. To me I think this is hell, Hell is a state of being deprived spiritual existence, I do not relate it to a place. Jere 7:31

Like someone said it takes a lot of courage to be an Athetist given what the devil has to offer. He offers no assurance but confusion and fear.

HOW FAR CAN WE GO!!!

How far can we go in our christian walk . What are we willing to loose for his name sake? He made us a promise in Jeremiah 33 v 3

Jeremiah 33v 3 : Call unto me and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Can we call unto him, and be enlighted. Is it so easy to be able to forsake all. I for one, am finding it a tremedous task to forsake my old self to be able to transform into the new creature that pleases God. Are we ready to abandon every aspect of our lives that stand in the way to put God first? I know for a fact that we all have something that we all still hold dear, yes we all love God, yet we have our family, our jobs, our possessions, friends and the list goes on. Though all these things might be second place in our lives they still a part of our lives we hold dear. Can these elements in our lives, though a source of happiness and a blessing from God become a hinderance to our spiritual growth?

Are we able to forsake all, when called for. Can we be moved by the spirit of God to relocate in a third world country for his name sake catering for people who are clearly in need or this might be were we draw the line.

Can we open our house to strangers and live with them and for them for his name sake.

Can we risk loosing that partner to reach our spiritual growth when they limit us.

How far are we compromising and how far can we go in our spiritual walk. Are we stuck in our comfort zone, Do we really want to change our circumstances, do we have what it takes? Are we bothered? Are we happy being christians who do the normal christian walk, have we reached our potential? These questions for all of us to ponder on. I am far from being that christian who has managed to forsake all.

Jeremiah 32 v 41 Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.

We have God's backing that he will establish us, heart and soul, are we letting him down. It is one thing to profess God love, so different acting on it. Love is a doing word, and until it is transformed into action, it is still not love.

In conclusion I see loving God as a sweet and sour mix. Knowing him is the best thing ever, feeling his spirit burning in my heart is priceless, yet under the same breath I am in constant fight with my flesh and its desire, it's only natural. Yet Psalms 139 verse 15 - 17 sums it up for me. God knew me and you before we were born, he understand our weakness, our potential, is it not time we forsake all and let him truly take over our lives.

Psalms 139 verse 15-17
15: My bones were not hidden from you when I was made in secret. When I was woven in the lowest part of the earth.
16: Your eyes saw even the embryo of me and in your book all its parts were down in writing, as regards the days they were formed and
yet there was not yet one among them.
17: So to me how precious your thought are, O God how much grand sum of them amount to!

THE SECRET SIN

Sin, is what stands between us and our God. As christians how do we view sin, are all sins equal to God, How did Jesus equate sin, how does God view sin.

Most christians are guilt that they measure sin according to their churches doctrine rather to what God measures it.

Matt 5 v 27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time,
Thou shall not commit adultery.
v 28 But I say unto you that whosoever looketh on a woman
to lust after her hath committed adultery with her
already in his heart.
What Jesus was pointing out to the pharisees is that sin is still sin even if one only want to do the act, without actually carrying it out. The pharisees felt it was okay to think as long there was no action.

These are sins we are aware of and can confess to, but what happens to sins that are hidden to our brethren, to the church and even sometimes to ourselves.

Yes it is possible to be able to commit unholiness which even our conscience has never reproved us of because we never did see them as sin. Psalms 19verse 12 This is usually due to ignorance of God's law, if we have not studied God's law as we ought to we can fall into sin. In this light, we can commit transgression repeatedly against God without feeling guilty. Yet a sin is a sin whether it's small one or a secret one.

How does God deal with sin, In God eyes sins are all the same, because all sins will lead to condemnation Romans 6v 23. In God eyes all sins are equal but differ in severity yet they carry the same penalty, death, and also are forgiveable regardless of how big they are.

So do we have secret sins, that are as a result of ignorance, or maybe as a result of being too self righteous resulting in pride that hinders one to hear the voice of God more. God's law bear itself to deal upon every emotion of the inner man.

God wants us to examine ourselves honestly and in a humble manner.

GOD BLESS!!

THE WORDS THAT SURVIVED 2000 YEARS

I love reading about Jesus, and when I do the words come to life. I can safely conclude that Jesus was a philosopher, he was a teacher, a prophet as well as a reformer.

It made me to think and I remember a recent question brought up by a brother at church. He asked us that if we were given a chance to go into the past or future in the bible, which part of the bible would fascinate us and why?

I throw the same question to you all.

I would love to listen to Jesus preaching. I see Jesus as a charismatic person who draws people with his approach of imparting the word. I can see myself totally consumed and overwhelmed by each word as he speaks with precision touching every soul sitting there, leaving everyone emotional and spirited
I see myself listening to him teaching sermon on the mount

Matthew 5 v 3: Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the
kingdom of heaven.
v 4: Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be
comforted.
V 5: Blessed are meek for they shall inherit the earth
v 6: Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after
righteousness for they shall be filled.

I could go on but I can see myself being blessed immersely and to think Jesus never wroten down his own words himself.

His words were misunderstood wrongly mutilated, deformed, transformed in the years by some who did not find him to be glorious like i did, yet managed to survive 2000 years. Why because his words were powerful, very spirited and came from the heart.

ARE WE NOT DEFEATING THE WHOLE PURPOSE!!!!!!

There is obviously a cold war happening here, two many blogs flying around, trying to point out where the other is going wrong.

I don't know if I am wrong, it appears no-one is listening to the other so as far as I see it's defeating the purpose of being what we all are, true brethen in christ.

Let me ask if a non-believer was to come on the site just for a week, what do you think will be the result.

I might be wrong, and might be blowing things out of proportion here but I do think we need to stop this little cold war happening, it is becoming very demoralizing. I beg you, in that name we all profess to love.

Yours in christ
