Saying Goodbye to a Friend

I recently found out a friend of mine from BC passed away.. Brian was known on here as Ratherberidin.. and that was riding his Harley.. Unfortunately on July 19 2008 Brian passed away from a motorcycle accident .. I was devestated to hear this. He left behind 2 boys who were the love of his life. Please pray for these boy since his ex wife has cut off all contact with any friends and family of Brians... and please pray for me... my loss is heavens gain..

Webster... the dictionary...

Did you know that Noe Webster was a christian.. the first dictionary that was put out related back to spiritual meaning.. however in our day and society the new REVISED dictionary is not like the original one. I look words up from the bible to get clearer definition and only if your dictionary is pre 1970 will you get biblical terms.. interesting huh... and making us more aware that our are getting less and less ........
Ponder that on!

Spiritual Confusion

There is a time in spiritual life when God does not seem to be a friend. Everything was clear and easily marked and understood for a while but now we find ourselves in a condition of darkness and desolation. The parable of the persistent friend is the illustration that Jesus gives of how the heavenly father will appear in our times of spiritual confusion. Jesus is there all along. It is as when Jesus told the disciples " There are times when the heavenly father will look like that but don't give up remember I have told you Everyone who asks receives. In those times of confusion... look to him.. he is there and answering us just maybe not in the way we want him to answer...
Obedience +trust = Faith
Believe and you will receive.....

Whew speaks to me how about you... The same is true for our lives. Thoughts bear fruit. Think good thoughts and you produce good in your life. Think bad thoughts and you produce bad in your life. You can look at a person's attitude and know what kinds of thinking is prevalent in their life. A sweet person does not have mean thoughts by the same a evil person does not have good loving thoughts.

Wow my life...rolling out of control yet once again. Not bad however just out of control way to many things to do, to say, to touch, to feel.. SO many people to love to hold to nuture.....

Thank you for all of you who prayed for my while going through Hell Week at his fraternity. All praise to God.....he was home yesterday, safe and told me he was in but going to take a break from the Frat house. I was extremely proud of him. He and I discussed some events and of course he did not tell me all of it I thank God and the Holy Spirit for being with him!!
Life is so on the on the uphill for me right now...thank you for your prayers
God in Heaven you are to good to me. You lift me walk with me. You know the wants of my heart you protect my precious , you protect me. YOu forgive my errors and love me through them as I go. As a father you want the best for me..the best for all that are your , Take this vessel of mine and use it for your glory....I am yours.

Prayer Request College Hell Week

I am asking prayer for my who is going through Frat Hell Week. Where I would have preferred he not be in a fraternity...this is something he chose. He has been" raised" in Christ and God assures me raise a up in the way they shall go and they shall not depart from it!
So pray for his safety wisdom and judgment during this time!
God I raise my up to you. As your is precious in my life so is my earthly . I put him in the palm of your hand and ask that you protect him, allow him to make wise choices and to honor you in all things. I pray for my other two as My daugther graduates college and goes into the field of teaching and coaching that she will touch lives and my other that you guide her in her decisions in college

Asking and Being Forgiven

Wow has this been a challenge. The first think is that we must ask for forgiveness and not have any expectations. Like NONE. I am attempting to do this now. Has it been hard??? OH Boy On Boy. Sometimes I felt like I was being slammed in the door, but then I realized that this is about Me forgiving me because God already has and I cant make the other person! So on my journey there have been mixed feelings from some. However I am moving forward I can feel it. God is opening new doors, and putting so many people into my life I am awed!!! He definitely does not want me to be lonely LOL.
Asking someone to forgive you humbles you...immensely it also makes you look at your character defects and ask your self why you went there in the first place. Pouring my heart out to you guys!!! Thank you for your ears.
I recently asked for forgiveness from someone I cared very much for. I think this person was confused..but the situation I put us both in was not the correct thing to do in Gods eyes and as I still care very much for this person I want very much for God to bless him.
By the way leaving something you care for is a humbling experience and feelings dont just leave they fade...and only fade but are put into a new perspective.
I wanted to write this because I am still process. Wish I could make a general overall SORRY but that is not what God intends.

I recently have experienced well how do I say negative things expressed about me to other people. on BC. Surprise surprise LOL. Hmmm the thing is..it was untrue and hurtful. In addition to hurting other people on the way. What is so hurtful to me is that these individuals proclaim to be my friend. So interesting this came along as I am studying relationships and forgiving. Guess God is putting to work what he has taught me. I don't think I will ever understand Chat, on line verbalization. There is no way to look into that persons eyes and see their soul??? Right. However I will pray that God gives me discernment to avoid these individuals. But then again is God using this for me to witness. Hmmmmm.....Just as long as those people understand I am very human with emotions and feelings that do get hurt.
God I lift up to you my brothers and sisters who hurt and hurt others in the process. Heal their self esteem, their hurts...help me to understand this and to not resent them. Give me the passion to pray for them to want to see them past their hurt. SHow me that you love is the greatest that in all things I can use them to glorify you.

Relationships needing Repair???

Been Hurt?? Hurt others? Ok lets start by talking about forgiving those who have hurt us and then about making amends.
Two beatitudes that guide us are
Happy are those who are merciful to others
Happy are those who work for peace.
When we are merciful to others we are willing to forgive them whether they deserve it or not. Mercy is about giving it when it is undeserved.Repairing Relationships by forgiving those who have hurt you!
1. Because God has forgiven you. - "You must make allowances for each others faults and forgive the person who offends you. " Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another forgiving each other just as in Christ God forgave you.
When you have a hard time forgiving many times it is because you don't feel forgiven. "Remember the Lord forgave you" Forgive each other just as in Christ God has forgiven you"
2. Because Resentment DOESN'T work.
Holding on to resentment is unreasonable unhelpful and unhealthy. " To worry yourself to death with resentment would be a foolish senseless thing to do"
Resentment hurts you much more than the person you resent. It is a kind of emotional suicide.
3. Because you will need forgiveness in the future! You cannot receive what you are unwilling to give.
How do you Forgive others
REVEAL
RELEASE
REPLACE
!. Reveal your Heart You can pretend repress feelings as if they dont exist but they do. Ignore and push them away.They will come out as some sort of compulsion. Once you reveal your hurt then you can forgive
2. Release the offender Forgive them whether they ask or not. You will know you have forgiven and released when you no longer hurt.
3. Replace Your Hurt with Gods Peace. saying not fair for the other person.... believe me God will have the last word!!!
Next I will be blogging how to repair relationships by making amends. I am doing this now so need to get through it first
