It doesnt matter how many scriptures you read, God does NOT force people to choose, amen!
He HOPES people will make right choices..
Salvation is a free gift from God, you cant TAKE it from God, it is given, whether people decide to accept the gift is down to them...
Deut 30;11-20 The Choice Of Life Or Death...
tells us God says.. "I have set before you Life and death, blessing and cursing, therefore CHOOSE life, that both you and your descendants may live..
He COMMANDS us to CHOOSE, which means we still have a choice, wise people make the right choice...

Until we accept and cooperate with the law of gravity, we cant fly. Until we accept and cooperate with the law of economics, we cant succeed in business.

Surrendering to God is not weakness, it's wisdom.
Only a fool resists God, because it's a fight we cant win. It's in surrendering to Him that we are empowered to succeed in what He's called us to do. Surrender is demonstrated by obedience.
It's saying , 'Yes Lord' to whatever He asks.
To say, 'No, Lord, ' is a contradiction.
How can we call Jesus Lord and refuse to obey Him? (Luke 6:46)
Peter demonstrated true surrender when Jesus told him to try again.
... "Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net. " And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish... ' (Luke 5:5-6) Surrendered people obey God when it doesnt seem to make sense.
Abraham followed God without knowing where it would take him.
Hannah waited on God's timing without knowing when.
Mary expected a miracle without knowing how.
Joseph trusted God;s plan without knowing why circumstances happened as they did.
Each was fully surrendered to God, and they came out on top.
'How will I know I'm fully surrendered? ' we ask.
When we rely on God to work things out
INSTEAD of trying to MANIPULATE others, FORCE our OWN AGENDA, or CONTROL the situation .
WE dont have to be in charge, we simply let go and let God have His way...
Amen...
Happy Valentines day from God, He is love and only those who know Him, know that....
I cant FORCE my to do anything, he's too big..
I can talk to him and try to persuade him, but if he chooses not to, there's NO way I can make him do it. If anything, it turns him the other way.
I can explain why it would be better if he did do certain things, but ultimately it's his choice.
And God is the same..

Pass on what God has taught you to those who need guidance and are hungry for knowledge.
Dont be pushy, but dont be timid; share with them what God has shared with you.
If you give a hungry man a fish he will live for a day; if you teach him how to fish he will live for lifetime.
Secondly, your tongue can give correction.
Nobody enjoys being corrected.

Nobody likes to risk rejection by being the truth-teller, but : 'You can trust a friend who corrects you... ' (Provs 27:6 CEV)
Three important principles apply here.
First, you speak truth on the basis of friendship.
If you haven't proven yourself, leave the truth-telling to someone who has. You have to earn that right.
Secondly, truth-telling isnt a license to go hunting. A true friend cares about others' feelings, and speaks the truth in love (Eph 1:15)
Thirdly, appreciation will come- but be prepared, it may be delayed!

Qld is about to get more of a battering!
On the tail of cyclone Anthony, which is still an active swirling low, on the satellite charts..
Cyclone Yasi is the biggest storm to threaten Qld ever known in our times..
It is predicted to make landfall tonight our time, 10pm-12am along with the high tide..
It is what you guys in the nthrn hem call a hurricane, it is so big, the whole country is watching and waiting to see what happens..
I've lived in Cairns and district and know about cyclones, my concern is apathy, yeah, yeah, we've seen it before!
Not like this we haven't!
When I lived up there, most used to go sit in the pub and wait, pretty calm and relaxed, people would get together because there was a common talking point!
Cyclone Winifred hit landfall, I went to bed, thinking, ah well, now it will weaken..
Woke up in the middle of the night, put my feet on the carpet, it was wet, went out into the hall and everything in the lounge was floating!
I was cut off from town for a week..
trees were uprooted, all sorts of damage and I'd slept thru it!
But this is nothing compared to what they are expecting, storm surge expected in Cardwell is 20ft more than the highest tide, lots of people being evacuated..
winds up to and over 300ks, so big, the eye of the storm is going to take more than an hour to pass, then the winds will be back, from the opposite direction..
If it was headed for my state, it would affect every part and two other states as well, it is huge!
They are comparing it to Katrina which caused so much devastation in texas etc.
We will really have to get behind Qld. they have just been thru so much down in the southern part of the state and this is going to affect most of the nth, this storm is so big, it is still going to be category 3 force 4-500 ks inland, we are going to have a lot of ongoing affects from this one, they go into the middle part of the country, then swing around and come down into our part, that's what happened with the latest lot of floods, which are still ongoing in nth Victoria, waters so slow moving..
The last time we had really bad weather like this was '74 and that is when cyclone Tracey devastated Darwin, but the eye of that storm was only 12 ks across, it was intense, but much smaller...
I know people who live up in those areas, God help them...

Truth is...

This is where having a full knowledge of the word and meanings come into everything...
I can encourage by saying "keep going, you are doing really good"
or I can encourage by saying "I wouldnt do that if I were you"
Parents especially, know a lot about encouraging...
Problem with some, is they think the word is specifically for them alone, but the truth is, the word is for everyone..
And that is what religion has done forever, try to set itself up above others, when in reality Jesus walked with the people, not all over them...
Worldwide, people are not being encouraged to be all that God wants them to be, by manipulative, controlling people, who try to set themselves above everyone else, and churches are being destroyed by infighting because of people who think they are the only ones called, when in reality if you are a born again, water and fire (Holy Spirit) baptised Christian, what is available to Jesus is available to us all...
And it is bringing the church down, people are turning away from church..
I dont need you to tell me anything, because as the scripture says, I have no need to be taught because I am not a baby wanting milk..
Good leaders dont keep people down and dependent, they lift them up and encourage independence..
Look at the animals, they dont keep their babies dependent, they dont survive, they only survive when they learn to do it for themselves!
His word says we are to test the spirits and He gave us His word so we can separate truth from lies, because we have been given the Spirit of Truth...
But the wolves come in and harry the flock with confusion and they run around in circles, without a shepherd, so this is how we know who has the Holy Spirit in their lives..
We have the mind of Christ..
Perfect love casts out all fear...
We have not been given a spirit of fear, but of power, of love and a sound mind..
Oh Lord, I pray that we all have eyes to see, ears to hear, to know the truth and be set free, amen...
He has given me authority over ALL the power of the enemy, power to trample on scorpions and serpents, power to overcome ALL the power of the enemy, NOTHING by ANY means can harm me!
And that is the one thing satan doesnt want people to know, that He who the has set free is free indeed...
I am free...

Smelly parts and noses...

You know our bodies are very interesting, some parts we think are nice and some.. wellllll .... but they are necessary...
Just as God decided it would be best if the nose were further away from some of the 'odorous' parts of our bodies, ie dirty smelly feet..
Imagine if the nose had been on the top of our foot, we'd be sneezing from dust all day etc...
Even tho we are ALL part of the body, it is best if we keep our distance from some...
It does NOT mean any are worth less...
It is just that's how it works BEST!
We all have different gifts and we all need different parts to be ministered to us..
Where one is strong in something...
another may be weaker and vice versa..
We are all unique, one off creations, and that is what keeps it interesting..
I like the preaching Joyce Meyer did one time about the eye wanting to wear the ring and how, when it got it's way, it compromised the whole body...
Jer talks about the plans He has for us..
I have been blog coasting today and there is so much contention and dissension, that is wasting so much time.. bickering, backbiting, sometimes it is good to come out from among them, to be separate...
It is all a distraction...
Bible says to be at peace at all times with all men wherever possible, as much as depends on you..
It's a choice, you can get caught up in it, or you can just keep walking, keep putting what you feel is right, out there...

Big noting yourself..

Without Him we are nothing, our very breath is in His hands...
To each is appointed a time to die, that is kind of a secure thing to know, our times are in His hands, start to finish...
Insecure people promote themselves, secure people, in the true knowledge of who God is and the Saviour, glorify Him...
My God is mighty to save, He conquered the grave and we owe everything to Him, everything..
He is made strong in our weakness..
We can stand, and believe for whatever we want, BUT if it's NOT His will it wont happen!
The best prayer you can pray for anyone is that God's will be done in their life, not by might, not by power, BUT by His Holy Spirit...
Our church is an international church, we have a church magazine and I read an incredible testimony about a woman who contracted swineflu..
It was all bad news as she was hospitalised and went from bad to worse..
While she was so sick they placed her in an induced coma...
The mother says, after 19 days we began to see the miracles.
Her heard the voice of Jesus, telling her she was holding unforgiveness in her heart and that she would die and go to hell if she didnt forgive. She cried out to Jesus for His forgiveness and from that moment, her condition began to improve. It was so incredible to hear the story from her own lips, when she finally awoke and was able to communicate.
Jesus had truly performed a miracle.
Her mum and dad are members of 'my' church, the church we first went to in '97 and stayed in, we've moved away interstate, gone to different churches at times, but only when directed by the Lord. I had been searching for a church since '90 and tried a few before being drawn to this one. These people are not in this state, but it is good to know that we are part of something that is really doing things and making a difference, world wide, it's good to feel connected..
THAT"S the God I know, who comes to chasten us lovingly and points out what we're doing wrong and what we need to do to change.
That's the same God who spoke to me in my dark times in the pit, back in '80, I had been thru ten yrs of an unGodly relationship and was brave enough to get out of it, but the damage was bad, he didnt just break my heart, he broke my soul, it took yrs to recover, now I look back and think, " What was that all about! " 
It was about being destroyed thru lack of knowledge, it was also because of an ingrained belief that marriage was forever, you dont walk away from it, better or worse etc. BUT you know what God's word says?
His blessings come with no sorrow ..
He changed my life and has continued to speak to me over the yrs..
NOT because I am special, because He loves me and doesn't want me to perish and that is how He is, read Ezek 34, it tells how the irresponsible shepherds are and how Jesus has to come for us Himself.. that is my true testimony proven out in His word ...
This pic was taken Christmas eve '79, I ended my marriage before the end of Jan '80..
I realise now, I had done my first 'outreach' and no wonder everything went haywire.. I didnt even believe satan was real, I believed in God...
I was like a lamb to the slaughter, no idea how hated by satan I was and he gave it his best shot to destroy me, if not for God, I'd have died a few times, one way or another..
That's why it's so important to tell people our testimony, bible says they are saved by the word of our testimony, amen...
And also looking back, that is still my heart, to outreach, to 'go' out and do for God..

Charlie and Boots..

Is an Australian movie starring Paul Hogan, it is quite funny.
It is about a road trip starting in Warrnambool, sth west victoria, (4 hours from Melbourne) , to the top of Australia, via country roads.
If you want to see some of our country, this shows the trip from Allansford,( 10ks from Warrnambool, south west victoria) up thru Horsham into NSW and on into Qld.
And it just happens that Allansford is the town nearest me that is badly flood affected. Horsham (more than two hours north of me)is the worst and latest threat in west vic.
The only people in my family directly affected by these floods are my bro in nth NSW and my bro in law in Bris. QLD.
Anyone else with water damage must have had a leaky roof or something in a downpour, my sisters certainly dont live near any of these flood areas.
I used to live in Eltham (suburb of Melbourne) and there is a local creek, which floods and causes damage to some low lying areas, the Yarra river is the local river but that is not close to Eltham, it is at Templestowe and Warrandyte, haven't heard any news of it flooding..
And believe me, at the moment anything that remotely resembles a flood is being talked about or reported!
One sister is in Melb and the other lives an hour further west of me.
My bro was flooded out last week but there was no loss of life.
He is a bit of a reclusive, alternative lifestyle, bushie/muso who has had throat cancer recently and also suffered with asthma all his life, so prayers for him would be great.
He lives in an isolated nth nsw commune, takes hours to get to where he is, along rugged bush tracks etc.
Also my bro in law lives near the affected areas in Bris. Qld, it will have affected his travel and life in general, but not his home.
If my mum still lived in her last home, a unit in Goodna, she would have been flooded out, my brother used to drink at the local pub, which was under water last week..
And bull sharks that normally live in the bris river have been spotted swimming around flooded Goodna shopping centre, which I know well, from my time spent with mum and dad in '94.
I bought flowers from the florist there for my mum when my dad passed away, aerial pics show it submerged.
The floods in vic are not in Melb. but the local creeks and rivers regularly break their banks, the cbd was inundated with flash flooding last week, but that's only because of the downpour, not because the Yarra had flooded (the main melb river)
For any facts on Australian Floods, all info is available on line, there are so many pics.
You can google maps to see what rivers are near towns and flooded areas.
We have extensive coverage and data of affected areas and warnings on paytv and local tv and radio, but local radio is the best source of info.
For instance yesterday, when I went for that drive, I had no idea that Allansford was being evacuated, or that the Hopkins river was posing such a threat.
Only when I tried to drive there, did I find out what was going on.
So if I'd been trying to get to melb I would have found it very difficult. Most roads were cut and there wasnt much on the tv about it at all!
This is my take on a famous oz poem by Dorothea McKellar, as I remember from childhood, so might get it wrong and miss some bits, but for me this sums up our country.
I love a sunburnt country
a land of sweeping plains
of rugged mountain ranges
of droughts and flooding rains
I love her far horizons
I love her jewel seas
her beauty and her terror
this wide brown land for me
We are used to fires and floods it's part of who we are..
This is actually a waterfall on the Hopkins river, in full flood last august, you may remember I posted about it at the time.
It hadnt been like this for decades!
It is worse than this at the moment.
The Hopkins river flows thru Warrnambool, to the sea..
Three boys 13 and 14 were swimming near the mouth of the river, it was too strong and one of the boys was swept out into the sea.. a local dairy farmer and his wife were walking their when they heard screams..
He rescued them all, he is being hailed as a hero, if he hadnt been there, they would have perished.
Our seas here are dangerous at the best of times, it is known as The Shipwreck Coast..

Is back on in my worship team, we have a lot of fun, we were messing around singing Summer Holiday the other night...
AND my is now officially part of the church worship team, I have had him in drum lessons since last July, doing really well, we need a good lead guitar tho. Might start him out on base, we need a spare, our other guy cant always make it.
We have base and acoustic lead, but no electric and Ah do luv a bit of lead electric guitar, how about you!

Floods nearer than I thought!

Wow, I thought I'd take my for a drive to see the creek that's flooded.
We couldnt get thru, all roads out of town are cut, unless you're heading west!
They've got sandbags where we've never seen them before!
They are not near us, we're safe but people had to be evacuated this morning from another little town, just up the road.
 Main highway to Melbourne.
This is Mt Emu creek, but we have the Hopkins closer and that is really bad and the Merri has broken it's banks, but that happens regularly.
This I knew about, but didnt realise how much more was going on, you can check out more pics of south west victorian floods .
It's like the whole east side of Oz has been affected by floods, but that's because the weather system that flooded Qld also came down this way, we've had very unusual weather, very humid and much like Qld, and I know because we've lived there a lot over the years

I am so satisfied right now, I have been to church and it is all good..
We have had a long running relationship with a particular prophetic, international travelling pastor...
Today he came to our church again, I waited til last almost and had prophetic prayer..
He asked me my need, I said you just speak what you feel led to speak in the Holy Spirit...
It was good, it was spoken in front of others and I KNOW things are going to be different from here on in..
I am one of those quiet, unassuming people, not unspoken, but I never promote myself..
But God sure did today and I am so glad to have had this confirmation word spoken over myself and my ..
Biding our time, waiting on God..
It is ALL so good and ALL so worth going thru all the tests and trials, amen..
I cant stop smiling, thank You Lord, thank You, I love you!
The pastors stepped down last week, people who were removed from leadership, have been reinstated and a new day has finally come, amen...
God is good in EVERYTHING amen.. 
It truly is the peace that surpasses understanding...
God I bow before you in adoration, love and worship..
I praise Your Holy name El Shaddai... mighty one You are worthy of ALL praise!!!!
