Church yesterday was wonderful! My pastors wife "LED" us in worship and it was wonderful. She sings one particular song, a line of it goes, "like honey dripping from my lips", which seems made for her to sing. We also sang Shout To The Lord, my favourite because for me, it is such a powerful and personal song to Him, amen. The annointing was so powerful, brought me to my knees! My boy helped distribute communion, which was really great because, he doesnt think being a "servant" is great, fancies himself as a lord of the manor one day, I dont laugh at him, who knows what God has instore for him! When he returned to his seat, I asked him how he felt, his face was glowing, I said "how does it feel to be a servant in the house of the Lord?" I think he got it! Then we drove down to see my sister (listening loudly and singing to Heart of Worship cd) we had a rainbow all the way and my said "look mum, it's a rainbow, it's God!" and she had more great news about deliverance in her family and major breakthroughs! Got to see a photo of my little sister, who is going thru extreme chemo now, keep praying, but she is always smiling and I know God is working in it all, amen. The woman I mentioned leads (?) worship sometimes, was nowhere to be seen and is in Thailand with her husband and there was a real gentle peace and annointing on the prayerline, lots of . My boy went up for a call for those who dont think they are hearing from God, he wants to hear His voice, but does more often than he realises, but I think he wants an audible voice, like I experienced once! I told my pastor and his wife how the word on Elijah had finally set me free and he said "welcome home!" She said I had lost that drawn look. On the way to church my wasnt as peaceful as he could be, I asked him to pray in tongues with me, he said he didnt feel like it, so I took my hands off the steering wheel and said pray! He thought I was mad and said so, he prayed begrudgingly and I said "with a better attitude!" Then I put my hands back on the wheel, think he learned something? He was shocked, I said, "I made you pray!" We laughed about it! God bless you all have a wonderful week! If it wasnt for Goliath, David would never have been heard of! ALL things work together for good, amen! Joke I heard, There was an american, a russian and a blonde, russian said "we were the first in space," american says, "we were the first on the moon," blonde says, "we'll be first on the sun!" the other two laughed, "you cant land on the sun, it's too hot!" Blonde says "we're not stupid, we're going when it's dark!" well, I laughed and I have been blonde! Reading Paul, is such an inspiration, keep on keeping on folks, Be not weary in welldoing ... we will reap! I left becuse I'd lost heart, but no more amen!! Gal 6 : 7 is worth reading!! My shame is taken away, my pain is healed in His name, I believe, My Redeemer lives, oh yeah, whoo hoo!! I know He rescued my soul.... He loves me, He loves you, rejoice in the Lord and again I say rejoice ... Is 40:31 go for it, believe it! PS that rainbow I mentioned was there all the way, (100ks) and it was ahead of us as we drove home just before sunset! It rained and it is a bit scary driving, there is always the possibility of wildlife or straying cattle on the road, not to mention the heavy duty transport, milk trucks and B doubles! Was glad to get home! Thankyou Lord! ps if you enlarge the photo there is a small black dot in the centre, it's an eagle!

Chocolate brown and Jezebel...

You see my photo, I'm wearing chocolate brown! So, big deal! This is a new top and when I was trying it on a woman said, "no brown is no good for you, it washes you out." There was a time, when even tho, I really liked it, I wouldnt have bought it, just because she said that!"
A couple of weeks ago, my pastor told us he'd had a word on his heart for a few weeks and it was about Elijah and how one word from Jezebel sent him off to a place where he prayed and asked God to kill him, he didnt want to live anymore. Sound familiar? I came away convinced he had preached the wrong word! Twice more I saw Elijah being spoken of and finally, I got it!! I have many times in my life allowed, "one word" to make me go off and isolate myself and want to die. I finally got over the wanting to die part, now I beg God for long life, I need it, I haven't done everything I want to do yet, I'll be 54 in less than 3 weeks! Even tho Elijah was a mighty man of God, he still let Jezebel affect him that much! Can you see what I'm saying here?
I was liberated when I got it! Set free, there will still times when I will hurt, especially when I am not believed (that has always hurt me) integrity and honesty and "doing the right thing" have always been important to me,people at times can be a minefield I prefer to avoid! But it's like this place, the reason I came back was I started wondering what God was doing "out there" again. Even tho my church hasnt changed in some ways, the anointing and the glory of God was and is so more powerful, I wanted to see if it was happening everywhere and I know it is, but was surprised not to see anyone talking about it here? The body of Christ is who us Christians are and the thought of coming here and being connected in the body is good, it gives me a sense of belonging, how about you?
But where there is wheat, there are tares and the word says we are to leave them, because we may destroy the wheat if we try to remove them. God knows the plans He has for us (see Jer) and His ways are not our ways, amen! The joy of the Lord truly is our strength, the joy of knowing His reality and that it is all under control, He has created us all, for times such as this.
I often hear people talk about the last days, but I found in scripture, that Jesus referred to us being in the last days, when He was here 2000+ years ago! Any way, these are the things I think on and ponder, I have changed so much. Glory to glory, amen! His Glory!
I used to be the kind of person, who would get really upset if I had my sleep interrupted by neighbors etc. Now my neighbor wakes me up every morning by sitting on his step, smoking til he coughs his guts out(you know what I mean?) getting his car and loudly banging his door and driving off? Why, because I asked his wife if he could stop it a few months back, he was good for a while, but now he's changed. But you know I wake now and thank the Lord for this brand new day and smile and ask him to bless my neighbors, who ungodly as it seems, I have nicknamed Shrek and Fiona! But I know they need prayers and sometimes that is how He brings people to our attention, amen! I dont think badly of them, they're only young and at least he gets up and goes to work to support his wife and baby!
So it's all about attitude, amen, gratitude for everything, praise God! Whoo Hoo Dont you just feel so good knowing He's got it all in His hands! It's true if we keep our mind stayed on Him, He keeps us in perfect peace and throws in the joy as well! AMEN!

This year I bought a lawn mower, I was tired of stress and strife of paying others to do things and have them, ruin favourite plants, so for the first time ever, I have mowed the lawn! To be honest, maybe it's because I am little, but I was a bit scared of lawn mowers, dont like the way they can spit stones up! And my is big enough to mow as well, we are both pretty proud of ourselves! He even washed my windows yesterday, he is working to make sure he gets his christmas presents he wants, I keep telling to do it not for gain, think he's getting it! I have to confess I have mixed feelings about where he's at, there is definitely a part of me is sad because his little boy days will soon be over, he's in size eight mens shoes and boots!! His bed is too small for him, I'm going to give him my queen size timber bed and downsize! I have never raised a boy before, but people tell me, I'm doing a good job! My pastor told me he thinks I'm a hero, but I'm only doing what any good mum would do, raising him for God, with scriptural principals and am looking forward to the end result, amen! Old people love him for his good manners and his kindness, when we didnt have a car, we were catching the bus and he would sit apart from me and strike up conversations with old people and they loved him, I am very proud of him, he's a good ! And me and God, well we take the credit!

He uses the foolish things of the world to confound the wise ... My boy is growing up, he's pubescent, changing from a boy to a man. But the boy in him, still likes to play and his latest thing is Indiana Jones, (used to be Admiral Norrington). We went to the video store and got the dvds out for him to watch, and the first one is about the Ark of the Covenant, second one was garbage and third one was about the Holy Grail. I went to church and said to my pastor it would be good if they had a men and boys night, with Indiana Jones etc. He looked at me taken aback and I came away feeling like a heathen, you know what I mean ... Any way I have been trying to get my interested in His bible, telling him, "you want adventure, the bible is the best book ever written, it's got everything!" Anyway, next day my said, "you know Mum, I have'nt learnt anything about the Ark of the Covenant!" NEXT day his homeschool work was delivered, my loves getting it and opening it to see what he will be learning next! He was so excited to see it would be about, you guessed it, the Ark of the Covenant! I dont feel like a heathen now, God used Indiana Jones to get my interested, God does work in mysterious ways, amen!!!

Shopping Malls...

Some think of this as a church, I dont, to me it is more like a shopping mall. You walk in and there are the stores you are familiar with, that you go to often, the stores you go in occasionally and the stores you never bother with, they've got nothing you're interested in, so you always walk by! Sometimes you see people you know and stop and chat and sometimes you dont! Sometimes you're in a hurry and just popping in quickly to get something. Or sometimes you have time to stop and chat along the way. I know the cleaners name at my mall, I know shop owners names at my mall, I talk to all. But there are also lots of people I dont know, there have been occasions when I have been verbally abused at the mall, one time a young woman accused me of calling her a slut as she walked by and even followed me to confront me when I was having coffee! I mean... Yep world is full of strange things, but you know at my shopping mall there are enough nice people to make my day, our names are always remembered and we are always greeted with smiles by those who know us and some have known us since my boy was a baby in his pram! I have people I care about who have situations in their life and we stop and chat, but we dont even know each others names! GBU them all, amen!

Since I've been back, I had to redo everything and I have taken the test a couple of times and have come to the conclusion, I must be a cross between a growth teacher and a mystic writer, because both have things which relate to me, but I'm not 100% one or the other!

What an absolutely beautiful day! Mid winter, skies are blue, sun shining, gentle breeze... Headed off in my car this morning, could see a ship out on the horizon, white against a deep blue sea. Got a message from a friend that really made my day. As we were driving we spotted an oilrig on the horizon, so went to a really great vantage point, overlooking the ocean and sure enough it was! AND the whales were in the bay! Days like this I am so glad to be alive and thankful to Him, just wish I could share what my eyes saw today! Praise God! I took a photo at sunrise and it looks like a white kiss from God in the sky, but it was the jet trails crisscrossing, but then again, maybe it was a kiss from God!

Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called sons of God! God has been putting it on my heart to make peace with certain people, so I swallowed my pride and went back to my old church. I was welcomed back as a and hugged etc. BUT nothing there seems to have changed, I have to wonder about what God is doing. That's why I came back here, to see what He is doing. And after that revelation on the scripture, I am blessed to be able to do it, amen, thankyou to those who have prayed, you know who you are I have been liberated today, just as Elijah was!
