Family get together..

Had a wonderful day with our family yesterday, my Mums side, we dont have any of my Dads family here, that we know of, they're all overseas, spread across the globe..
Lots of love and hugs and yes there are those who aren't so fond of us and dont give much in the way of affection or niceties (every family has them!)
BUT those who do, are more than those who dont, amen and it was good to see EVERYONE again and come away feeling 'THE LOVE' ...
Our family members are disappearing off to the Lord..
Since last time I was there my fav uncles wife has gone, he cant believe she's gone and I cant believe it either..
Life really is too short and the older I get the more I realise that and it seems to have sped up as well.. I'm the oldest grandchild, the oldest neice and oldest cousin..
Seems we only just grow up and there it is, behind us and it's gone forever, that last second, that last breath, never to be repeated!
But I hoped I would see people I haven't seen for years and I did, it was wonderful!
A lot has happened since we last were there, we have grown so much in our achievements, we have lived and made the most of every day and opportunity that has come our way.
And thanked God for it all..
I truly believe that we are honouring God by taking the lives He has given us and maximising every opportunity, discovering who we are and what we are here for, it's about having fun as well!
It's about Joy, Peace, knowing you are right with Him..
My cousins and I really get along well, they are real, there is no falseness, we accept each other as we are, there is no condemnation, there is love and affection and connection.. blood ties, family..
And no, the beer isnt mine, it's my cousins husbands, not sure why but he gave it to me to hold for the pic!
We were all just comfortably mixing as family...

And what does it say about responding to peoples comments on your blog?
Sorry, maybe I'm wrong but I noticed
some people dont respond to mine and others comments on their blog.
One person in particular has done this consistently with my comments for a couple of yrs now.
Someone who acts a bit ditzy at times, does the dumb blonde act..
Sorry no offence intended, but that is how it comes across and having said that, am I being judgemental?
NO .. I'm just being honest..
I dont very often go to their blog because of this and I forgot that they dont respond to my comments, I dont honestly know why this one person does this, but who knows, hey?
I just keep walking and dont worry about it!
You see, for a lot of my life I used to think if I was rejected, there must be something wrong with me!
I consistently felt bad about myself until I realised I was feeling bad about God's own creation and actually throwing it back at His face, who am I to question Him..
Remember the scripture about the clay pot questioning the potter?
It took a long time to see that it actually means there is something wrong with the rejector, their reasons can be anything from listening to gossip, envy, jealousy, resentment or maybe just dislike, who knows..
BUT it is all between them and God!
ESPECIALLY if I have never done or said anything to deliberately hurt or offend these people, which I wouldnt do, because it's not how I think!
God made me just the way He wanted to, I am His beloved, the apple of His eye, made for His good purpose, amen!
I realised if there are people who have a problem with that, who and how I am, take it up with my Creator, Father God!!
You see if we TALK about love but dont WALK in love the sound of our voices are just like clashing cymbals to God!
We are counted as hypocrites, white washed tombs full of dead mens bones..
Do you get it?
The dead mens bones are OUR bones, that means WE are dead!
That means we DONT have the Holy Spirit, because the Holy Spirit gives LIFE, amen!
He is strength to our bones, health to our flesh and LIFE to our mortal bodies, amen!
And doesnt forgiveness go hand in hand with love?
God bless you all as you remember why we do the Christmas thing..
To remember His great love, mercy and forgiveness which He proved by sending His one and only into the world to die for us an agonizing death..
The one who came humbly in the shape of a helpless, dependant, newborn baby..
He could have come any way He pleased, trumpets blaring, but He did this to show He was willing to walk and live as we do, to show us nothing is impossible to God.. amen
So to all those who TALK about love, but dont respond to those around you with at least good manners.. God bless you and have a wonderful Christmas ..  SINCERELY I have joy in my heart, a smile on my face and it's ALL good, amen..

There is only one thing that will set us free, and that's the truth.
Yes, that is the one thing we have a hard time dealing with.
It was difficult for me to face the fact that I was insecure. I didnt like myself, and I needed God's help and healing in my life.
If I had refused to face the truth, I would still be in bondage. I would still be trying to please people, addicted to approval in order to keep a position that I probably would'nt even like. As it is, I am free. I know who I am in Christ apart from what I do. I want to please people, but I am not devastated if they are not pleased with me. As long as I know my heart is right, that is sufficient. If I am doing the best I can and people dont approve, what they think will have to be between God and them.
I want approval, but I am not addicted to it. I enjoy it, but if I have to live without it, I can. I went thru the pain of facing truth and change, and it brought me freedom. The only way out of bondage is to go thru what we need to go thru as we move toward freedom.

Lord, help me to face the truth about my life that I might be set free from any bondages that hold me back. Help me to change what needs to go. Amen.

one of her ministers is openly hom.se.ual and was featured in the paper as her partner and her being proud to announce they are expecting a !
The leader of an alternative party well known for their environmental stand, is a hom.se.ual..
People voted them in!
When the righteous rule, the people rejoice
When the wicked rule, the people groan..
But this shows the challenges we have as Christians and the great need to stand more than ever!

So many are disillusioned by the family of the church..
There are so many long standing church going people I know, who are not going to church at the moment.. maybe that's the key word... dis illusion ... not fooled by the illusion that so many put up..
It is a time of transition worldwide... our new pastor began to day, same message as the last, change or else!
It's the heirachy that's the problem, those people who get in the way of God!
I prayed before I went to church, if he was the real deal he would open the altar up for healing etc. Well, he did more than that!
He opened the altar up for people to actually come up and pray for others!
I went up to cover people with prayer.. The heirachy will take a while to get used to it, but I know I'm called to minister NOT sit on a pew, but have been waiting for the call up, amen..
Thankyou for this brand new day Lord, amen ...

Looking forward to Christmas?
I've been struggling to get into the spirit of it all this year..
Maybe it's because my is growing up?
Anyway, just putting my tree up today, which is late for me, usually have it up before december!
Yesterday I went for an early morn coffee by the water..
It was really warm and balmy, despite the overcast skies..
The water was lapping gently, soothingly against the sands..
The race horses all came down for their morning exercise.
