MONDEX: The Mark of the Beast

Netlore Archive - Emailed slide show claims that microchips used in Mondex 'smart cards' are being implanted in people's hands or foreheads and constitute the 'mark of the beast' prophesied in the Book of Revelation
Comments: This and the images to follow comprise a PowerPoint slide show circulating via email since February 2004, though the ideas it conveys have been around much longer.

From a few basic facts – e.g., the existence of a company called Mondex, a subsidiary of MasterCard International which manufactures "smart" bank cards with microprocessor chips to store personal information, and the development of the "biochip," a special microchip that can be implanted in human or animal subjects – the anonymous authors of the presentation veer off into wild extrapolation, asserting that these technologies fulfill apocalyptic prophecies in the Biblical Book of Revelation. Some of the claims are demonstrably false. Others proceed from fanciful assumptions and a literalist, current events-oriented interpretation of scripture with which many theologians, not to mention rank-and-file Christians, disagree.

Could the so-called "Mondex bio-chip" really be the "mark of the beast" predicted in the Bible? COPY AND PASTE ON UR SEARCH THIS LINK TO READ MORE

Although things are not perfect;
Because of trials or pain;
Continue in thanksgiving;
Do not begin to blame;
Even when the times are hard;
Fierce winds are bound to blow;
God is forever able;
Hold on to what you know;
Imagine life without his love;
Joy would cease to be;
Keep thanking Him for all the things;
Love imparts to thee;
Move out of "Camp Complaining";
No weapon that is known;
On earth can yield the power;
Praise can do alone;
Quit looking at the future;
Redeem the time at hand;
Start every day with worship;
To "thank" is a command;
Until we see Him coming;
Victorious in the sky;
We'll run the race with gratitude;
xalting God most high;
Yes, there'll be good times & yes some will be bad, but...
Zion waits in glory...where no one is ever sad!

Got this email today from my friend Rick who was sent yesterday.

Shalom Dear Brothers and Sisters,

It is 11 PM Monday in Israel. This is the 6th day we are under attack. More than 1500 rockets of the 122mm and 220mm class have been rained down on
God's land. We have just gone through the 7th time today that we have gone into our "protected rooms" in our homes. We do not run to the bomb shelters because we only have 60 seconds from the siren warning to the start of the falling of the
rockets.

Do we fear? of course. It is natural. Every one is fearful in a situation like this. It is how you handle the fear that is important. Does one panic, cry, get hysterical?? This is where faith in our Father comes in to the picture. He has made promises and covenants with us. He has told us in Psalm 91 and Psalm 121, He will cover us, He
will protect us. This same promise is made over and over again from Genesis to Revelation.
Armed with this faith and His armour whic
h He gave us, we go forward. We will keep up the live broadcasts when ever there is late news up dates at IFBN Radio.

We value your prayers and e-mails of support in this time of trial. Blessings Please Visit our other Ministries: Come to Zion Ministry Home Page

$20.00 bill

A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20.00 bill. In the room of 200, he asked,
"Who would like this $20 bill?"
Hands started going up.
He said, "I am going to give this $20 to one of you but first, let me do this.
He proceeded to crumple up the $20 dollar bill.
He then asked, "Who still wants it?"
Still the hands were up in the air.
Well, he replied, "What if I do this?"
And he dropped it on the ground
and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe.
He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty.
"Now, who still wants it?"
Still the hands went into the air.
My friends, we have all learned a very valuable lesson.
No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value.
It was still worth $20.
Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way.

We feel as though we are worthless.
But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value.
Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are still priceless to those who DO LOVE you.
The worth of our lives comes not in what we do or who we know, but by WHO WE ARE.

You are special- Don't EVER forget it."
If you do not pass this on, you may never know the lives it touches, the hurting hearts it speaks to, or the hope that it can bring.
Count your blessings, not your problems.
And remember: amateurs built the ark ...
professionals built the Titanic.
If God brings you to it - He will bring you through it.

Cell Phone vs. Bible

I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phones?

What if we flipped through it several times a day?

What if we used it to receive messages?

What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?

What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?

What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?

What if we gave it to as gifts?

What if we used it as we traveled?

What if we used it in case of an emergency?

What if we upgraded it to get the latest version?

This is something to make you go...hmmm...where is my Bible?

Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cellphones, we don't ever have to worry about our bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill!

SATAN'S MEETING: (Read even if you're busy)

Satan called a worldwide convention of demons.

In his opening address he said,

"We can't keep Christians from going to church."

"We can't keep them from reading their Bibles and

knowing the truth."

"We can't even keep them from forming an intimate

relationship with their Saviour."

"Once they gain that connection with Jesus, our

power over them is broken."

"So let them go to their churches; let them have

their covered dish dinners, BUT steal their time,

so they don't have time to develop a relationship

with Jesus Christ.."

"This is what I want you to do," said the devil:

"Distract them from gaining hold of their Saviour

and maintaining that vital connection throughout

their day!"

"How shall we do this?" his demons shouted.

"Keep them busy in the non-essentials of life and

invent innumerable schemes to occupy their minds,"

he answered.

"Tempt them to spend, spend, spend, and borrow,

borrow, borrow."

"Persuade the wives to go to work for long hours and

the husbands to work 6-7 days each week, 10-12

hours a day, so they can afford their empty lifestyles."

"Keep them from spending time with their ."

"As their families fragment, soon, their homes will

offer no escape from the pressures of work!"

"Over-stimulate their minds so that they cannot hear

that still, small voice."

"Entice them to play the radio or cassette player

whenever they drive."

"To keep the TV, VCR, CDs and their PCs going

constantly in their home and see to it that every store

and restaurant in the world plays non-biblical music constantly."

"This will jam their minds and break that union with Christ."

"Fill the coffee tables with magazines and newspapers."

"Pound their minds with the news 24 hours a day."

"Invade their driving moments with billboards."

"Flood their mailboxes with junk mail, mail order catalogs,

sweepstakes, and every kind of newsletter and promotional

offering free products, services and false hopes.."

"Keep skinny, beautiful models on the magazines and

TV so their husbands will believe that outward beauty is what's

important, and they'll become dissatisfied with their wives. "

"Keep the wives too tired to love their husbands at night."

Give them headaches too!

"If they don't give their husbands the love they need, they will

begin to look elsewhere."

"That will fragment their families quickly!"

"Give them Santa Clause to distract them from

teaching their the real meaning of Christmas."

"Give them an Easter bunny so they won't talk about

his resurrection and power over sin and death."

"Even in their recreation, let them be excessive."

"Have them return from their recreation exhausted."

"Keep them too busy to go out in nature and reflect

on God's creation.

Send them to amusement parks, sporting events,

plays, concerts, and movies instead. "Keep them busy, busy, busy!"

"And when they meet for spiritual fellowship, involve them in gossip
and small talk so that they leave with troubled consciences."

"Crowd their lives with so many good causes they have no time to

seek power from Jesus."

"Soon they will be working in their own strength, sacrificing their

health and family for the good of the cause."

"It will work!" "It will work!"

It was quite a plan!

The demons went eagerly to their assignments causing

Christians everywhere to get busier and more rushed,

going here and there.

Having little time for their God or their families.

Having no time to tell others about the power of Jesus to change

lives.

I guess the question is, has the devil been successful in his

schemes?

You be the judge!!!!!

Isnt it funny?

Isn't it funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the world's going to hell.
Isn't it funny how someone can say "I believe in God" but still follow Satan (who, by the way, also "believes" in God).
Isn't it funny how you can send a thousand jokes through e-mail and they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing?
Isn't it funny how when you go to forward this message, you will not send it to many on your address list because you're not sure what they believe, or what they will think of you for sending it to them.
Isn't it funny how I can be more worried about what other people think of me than what God thinks of me.

There once was a man named George Thomas, pastor in a small New England town. One Easter Sunday morning he came to the Church carrying a rusty, bent, old bird cage, and set it by the pulpit. Eyebrows were raised and, as if in response, Pastor Thomas began to speak..."I was walking through town yesterday when I saw a young boy coming toward me swinging this bird cage.

On the bottom of the cage were three little wild birds, shivering with cold and fright. I stopped the lad and asked, "What you got there, ?"
"Just some old birds," came the reply.
"What are you gonna do with them?" I asked.
"Take 'em home and have fun with 'em," he answered. "I'm gonna tease 'em and pull out their feathers to make 'em fight. I'm gonna have a real good time." "But you'll get tired of those birds sooner or later. What will you do?"

"Oh, I got some cats," said the little boy. "They like birds. I'll take 'em to them."
The pastor was silent for a moment. "How much do you want for those birds, ?"
"Huh?? !!! Why, you don't want them birds, mister. They're just plain old field birds. They don't sing. They ain't even pretty!"
"How much?" the pastor asked again. The boy sized up the pastor as if he were crazy and said, "$10?"
The pastor reached in his pocket and took out a ten dollar bill. He placed it in the boy's hand.

In a flash, the boy was gone. The pastor picked up the cage and gently carried it to the end of the alley where there was a tree and a grassy spot Setting the cage down, he opened the door, and by softly tapping the bars persuaded the birds out, setting them free.
Well, that explained the empty bird cage on the pulpit, and then the pastor began to tell this story.

One day Satan and Jesus were having a conversation. Satan had just come from the Garden of Eden, and he was gloating and boasting. "Yes, sir, I just caught the world full of people down there. Set me a trap, used bait I knew they couldn't resist. Got 'em all!"
"What are you going to do with them?" Jesus asked.
Satan replied, "Oh, I'm gonna have fun! I'm gonna teach them how to marry and divorce each other, how to hate and abuse each other, how to drink and smoke and curse. I'm gonna teach them how to invent guns and bombs and kill each other. I'm really gonna have fun!"

"And what will you do when you get done with them?" Jesus asked. "Oh, I'll kill 'em," Satan glared proudly. "How much do you want for them?" Jesus asked "Oh, you don't want those people. They ain't no good. Why, you'll take them and they'll just hate you. They'll spit on you, curse you and kill you.

You don't want those people!!" "How much?" He asked again. Satan looked at Jesus and sneered, "All your blood, tears and your life."
Jesus said, "DONE!" Then He paid the price.
The pastor picked up the cage he opened the door and he walked from the pulpit.

Easy vs. Hard

Why is it so hard to tell the truth but Yet so easy to tell a lie?
Why are we so sleepy in church but Right when the sermon is over we suddenly wake up?
Why is it so hard to talk about God but yet so easy to talk about nasty stuff?
Why is it so boring to look at a Christian magazine, but yet so easy to look at a nasty one?
Why is it so easy to delete a Godly e- ma il, but yet we forward all of the nasty ones?
Why are the churches getting smaller but yet the bars and dance clubs are getting larger?
Do you give up? Think about it . Are you going to forward this, or delete it?
