I saw a blog from bickerstaffs coffee house (but didn't notice the 2 at the end), and it wasn't until I was about to ad a comment that I noted it wasn't walking man's blog.
It is his nemesis, holligirl3, spoofing Paul's blog. So I go to this individual's profile to learn more about him/her...and low and behold this holligirl3 is from Hollywood! Isn't that cool. An actor from Hollywierd is in our midst...

What is fruit?

Metaphorically, fruit is works or deeds. Fruit is the visible expression of whatever power is working in us - the type of fruit is evidence of the character of the power producing it!
The fruit of the flesh is the expression of the hidden lusts of the natural man.
The fruit of the Spirit, "love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, temperance", is the expression of the Holy Spirit in us.
Fruit is not "only" souls being saved. Ultimately, that is the goal of all who are in Christ...to see souls saved! We should work together with one another and God for that harvest of fruit! Paul sowed, Apollos watered, and God gave the increase.

Are you abiding in Christ?

What does it mean to abide in Christ? According to Merriam-Webster the meaning of abide is "to endure without yielding, to accept without objection. The Greek word translated abide in John 15 is "meno" which means to continue, to endure, to remain.
So, if we continue with Christ, and He continues with us we will bear much fruit. So, the answer to the question "are you abiding in Christ?" can be determined by your fruit bearing!
Much fruit - you are abiding. No fruit, well...
"I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing." John 15:5

My oldest has made a change in his education plans and will be attending school in Louisville beginning in the fall semester.
He just called me to let me know he has found somebody to lease his house, so he will be moving in with me until the move to Louisville.
I am excited to be able to have him back home for awhile...not only to have him around, but he can help with his little brothers some too!!! LOL

I've been slowing down on BC for awhile, for many reasons. One of them is that my subscription is up in May and I didn't plan on renewing so I was kinda weening myself away. Well, I was just nosing around and noted that if I continue meeting the necessary activity levels I will get a free six month extension! Surprise, surprise, surprise! Looks like you all might have to put up with me longer...hahaha

The procedure went well, they found one coronary artery 90% occluded. They were able to correct the stenosis with a stint. Praise the Lord! Thank you my BC friends for your prayers!
