Who's The Better Nation's Watch-doG ?

I was told that the journalists are often addressed as the "watchdogs" of the nation.

But how effective are they in their duty as the nation's wacth-dogs?. Knowing that corruption and bribery have become the order of the day for our journalists.

Recently, i argued this out with a friend. I told him that God is the better watch-for all nations. My friend did not accept this just like that. He argued and argued.

The problem came when he asked me to give a scriptural backing to substantiate this. At first i was confused but suddenly this scripture flashed into my heart - halelluyah!

Psalm 127 was my biblical proof.
It says that- "except the Lord ... WATCH over a nation, the "journalists" (my version) watch but in vain."

He was satisfied with my explanation. But then, he said how can i likened our Great God to an animal.
I told that even the bible calls God "the LION of the tribe of Judah".

He said, "yes, Lion but not a cheap stuff like a dog!"

Playing with the word "doG" , we discovered that the word "God" can be fully and completely spelt from the word "doG".

Isn't this interesting?. This discovery proves our Great, awesome God as the "nations' better Watch-doG".

What do you think?. Comment please

Now A "70 X 7" Addict

I used to have a big problem with unforgiveness.

Unforgiveness got my marriage engagement broken beyond counselling and repair. Too sad, too bad.

Something happened and through it i can now readily and easily forgive, halleluyah!

Forgiveness has become a part of me now. It's now a strong-hold and has gotten a strong hold of me. I can even forgive the "Devil" for my broken marriage engagement, knowing that ALL things worketh together for my good.

Jesus says that we should forgive our offenders "70 X 7" times a day. Hmmn, that's an overdose that does not kill.

Now, i'm a "70 X 7" addict!

Praise God, i'm Christlike now

I simply mean to say - Romans 8 vs 28.

I love this scripture so much and i'm holding unto it with all of "my hands" or should i say - my heart?. I'm standing on this promise and no more sitting on the premises.

I don't want it to slip away so i have planted it in my heart so that it can be fulfilled in my life.

Although i do not know what the future holds but surely, i know who holds the future.

And halleluyah! Jesus is holding my future and He's busy "workin' out ALL things together for my good" (Rom.8 vs 2

We set aside December 23 for our wedding, believing for divine provision.

But the wedding just couldn't hold today because God is still working out things for us.

When God comes late, He comes Big!

So even if "the fig trees wouldn't blossom...", we'll still praise God.

He's more than faithful.

Surely, there's a "raise" in p-raise.
And that's just what we're doing - "praising the Lord with ALL our heart ALWAYS"

No S-ccess Without "U"

Do dreams still come true?.
This is a serious question demanding sincere answers from God-fearing people.

We (my fiance and have a dream that is almost seeming impossible to come true. But we have faith in it and in God.

We desire and dream to get married as soon as now but long courtship due to lack of finance is almost weighing our faith down and almost breaking us apart. But we're still holding on (Heb 10 vs 23).

We have barely nothing (except our faith) to start a living together.

We don't even have a bed nor a matress to our name.

Last year, we gave (sowed) ALL our belongings to a christian couple who got married last year.
They had practically nothing and so we saw it and took it as an opportunity to invest for a blessing.

We gave out everything to them, believing God for a divine harvest.

"Honey's" job has been on and off this year and life's been pretty tough. God's been faithful, though. Our faith in God is still intact and our services to Him is wholesome.

We dream to get married and this dream is all that we have for now. We made a total budget of $4000 (for accomodation and the wedding itself).

We have even taken a step of faith to fix the wedding for December 23, believing God for a financial breakthrough.

Right now, we don't have a single dollar and we not bought anything but we're still believing God and still holding unto our dream.

Do you believe with us that this dream will come to pass, even at the fixed date?.

If yes, Please send your prayers and comments.

Please also help us FINANCIALLY achieve our dream.
Even $10 sent can meet a need.

We can't spell "S-ccess" without "U" (you).

Please if you're not led to help and you feel this is another scam, please and please don't help.
Our help come from God, the Great Provider, you're only vessels in his hands. But if you're not ready and willing, He can raise up stones to meet our needs or He can even sell off some of His "cattles on the hills" to make our dream come true.

Thanks and God bless you richly.

Is "Holy Kiss" really holy ?

I have a fiance. We've been engaged for close to a year now.

We love each other so much and would have been married by now but for my fiance's finance problem (i'm not soliciting your monetary assistance; only for your advice).

Being the first girl of the family, my uncles (because my parents are both late) are not making things easy for my husband to be.

Our culture has placed a heavy levy on him to pay as bride price. They (my relatives) say he has to "give unto Cesaer what belongs to Cesaer" before he can take what also belongs to Cesaer.

With the way things are now, i'm afraid we might as well wait for "rapture" to get married maybe in heaven ?.

We all know that sex outside marriage is not holy.

Now i want to know if kisses outside marriage is also un-holy.

We've not kissed let alone have sex since we're not yet married.

But just of recent i asked honey for a kiss and he refused, saying it is a sin.

Apostle Paul mentioned something like "Holy Kiss" in the Bible.

So now i want to know if Kisses outside marriage is un "holy"?.

Pls is "Holy Kiss" really holy?.

Selfless Flight

Angels can fly because they take themselves lightly (selflessness).

To be selfless simply means to make self less and God more !

So if you want to fly high, you must stoop to conquer.

The Bible says that anyone humbles himself shall be lifted high up.

If you don't stand for something, you'll definitely fall for anything.

Please take a stand for Jesus. Make up your mind for Jesus; He's the Solid Rock that can never fail

It is better to fail while trying to succeed than to succeed in doing nothing.
