....a day is as a 1000 years. But with man it is only a mere 24 hours, 1,140 minutes, 86,400 seconds. The Word of God tells us we're not promised tomorrow or even the next five minutes. What if you clicked on the bookmark titled BigChurch.com and found that a 'friend' or more had gone home to be with the Lord, could you feel peace knowing that they knew you cared or will you feel sorry that you never even told them. I want no regrets! If you or I should be gone tomorrow I want you to know I care! I care about your hearts! I care about your souls! I care about you! Is there someone in your life that you care about and haven't told them? Tell them today! Tomorrow may be too late! I count you all among my blessings! And like a famous man sings "I'm drinking from my saucer because my cup overflows".
'Today' is a gift from God and what you do with it is your gift to Him! Now get out there and tell somebody you love 'em!

A Grateful Heart

God is looking for a grateful heart.
A grateful heart is one that recognizes who God is and what He has done. A grateful heart is one exercising faith. It's looking to God as the source and sustainer of everything in our lives. It's seeing Him for who He is and believing He rewards those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews. 11 vs 6)
Psalm 100 vs 4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name.
There's something very special happens when we come into the presence of God with a heart of praise and thanksgiving. He inhabits our praises. He fills a grateful heart with His love and goodness.
Do you ever just come before the throne and just say I'm not asking for anything today, Lord? I just came to tell You I love You. I just want to love You Jesus" and then just start to praise and worship Him. I sometimes sing to Him. I can't carry a tune in a bucket but to Him it's beautiful because He loves me. I have this little chorus I wrote just for Him and it goes like this, "Jesus I love You, I bow down before You, You are the King of all kings. Jesus I love You, I worship and adore You, You are my everything."
When you do this, when you enter into His presence with your praise you enter into the Holiest of Holies! Here He will fellowship with you, minister to you. Here you can talk to Him and He will answer.
Isaiah 65 vs 24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
Revelations 3 vs 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me.
Lord always keep my heart a grateful heart! Never let me forget where I come from and where I might have been if not for You, Jesus. Give me a heart of love Lord. Fill my heart with Your love Jesus and help me remember if it weren't for the Your grace......

Nothing Left But Darkness

For those of you who know me know I've been here off and on for years. I've had 4 different handles through the years. I would leave and then feel like the Lord was sending me back. This is home! 
This last time I really felt a strong pull to come back here so I told the Lord I would try it one more time. Well lo and behold I was back here no time and I was wanting to run from here as fast as I could screaming and crying. I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve and love too easily, thus it's broken often. Not so said the Lord! I am to love and if my heart gets broke in the process then that's the price I have to pay for Him. He told me I was just to love and He would take care of anything else that came along and if my heart was wounded in battle He would heal it. I told the Lord nothing here had changed and I wanted to leave! I told Him my presence was not needed here. He told me that I was sent here to be a light and if we who are the light leave then there will nothing left but darkness. He also reminded me I was not called to judge, I was only called to love and be as much as a peace keeper as I can.
So....I continue to stay and try to let my little light shine as brightly as I can.
So those of you who are considering leaving will you please think about staying and joining your candles with mine and others whose lights are shining so brightly..and together we can push the darkness out. Remember if the light leaves then there will nothing left but darkness!

I don't care if you hate me...

..as long as you get to Heaven.
Too many churches today are putting forth a water downed gospel and a water downed gospel is no gospel. There are too many tickle your ears preachers! Telling people what they want to hear just to fill their pews and their pockets. White washing sin and sugar coating the gospel of Jesus Christ! But God sent me to tell you the truth! You can not live like the devil and be part of the kingdom of God!! God's Word says, "be ye holy as I am holy" "come out and be ye separate saith the Lord" "pursue holiness for without it no man will see the Lord" "you can not serve two masters for you will love one and hate the other or hate one and love the other" "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord." Plan enough? You cannot live the life of satan and walk with the Lord! A man asked one of the disciples what must I do to be saved and he answered him, "repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus and you will be saved". Repent means to turn away. You must turn away from your sin! You must begin to walk a new way. Don't go to the places you used to go. Don't talk the way you used to talk. Don't dress the way you used to dress. Put on Jesus! Someone said 'be Jesus in the flesh', I like that. Be as Jesus to the world. I want to be so much like Jesus the world won't be able to tell us apart. Amen?
And Jesus Himself says you must be born again! What does it mean to be born again? The phrase "born again" literally means "born from above." You need a change of your heart—a spiritual transformation. New birth, being born again, is an act of God whereby eternal life is imparted to the person who believes (2 Corinthians 5 vs 17; Titus 3 vs 5; 1 Peter 1 vs 3; 1 John 2 vs 29; 3 vs 9; 4 vs 7; 5 vs 1-4, 18 ). John 1 vs 12,13 indicates that "born again" also carries the idea "to become of God" through trust in the name of Jesus Christ.
The question logically comes, "Why does a person need to be born again?" The Apostle Paul in Ephesians 2 vs 1 says, "And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins..." (NKJV). To the Romans in Romans 3 vs 23, the Apostle wrote, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." So, a person needs to be born again in order to have their sins forgiven and have a relationship with God.
How does that come to be? Ephesians 2 vs 8-9 states, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast." When one is "saved," he/she has been born again, spiritually renewed, and is now a of God by right of new birth. Trusting in Jesus Christ, the One who paid the penalty of sin when He died on the cross, is what it means to be "born again" spiritually. "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation: the old has gone, the new has come!" (2 Corinthians 5 vs 17). The old has gone! The old man is dead! Your old way of life is dead! You are a new creature, walk in new life! Walk a new way!
Another thing....don't trust man, don't believe man! There are all kinds of false prophets out there in the real world. Wolves in sheep's clothing just searching the world/internet seeking whom they may devour. Go to the Word of God yourself! Seek God's truth for yourself! He says seek me with all your heart and you will find Me. He says He will not turn away a seeking heart. He says I lay before you life and death....choose life and live!
As far as me and mine.....we choose to serve the Lord! How about you?
"If My people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
America is in need of healing don't you think!
Oh! But's that's a whole 'nuther story.
Don't hate me because I tell you the truth!
Hell is real! And if you choose to reject the pure gospel, if you choose to reject Jesus....you will see for yourself! It's not God's will that any should perish and it's not mine! That's why I'm choosing to tell you the truth! In order to inherit the kingdom of God you must listen to what God says!
"Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’" Matthew 7 vs 21-23
"For many are called, but few chosen." Matthew 20 vs 16
"Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God." 1 Corinthians 6 vs 9-11
"...no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them." Ephesians 5 vs 5-7

Jesus said, "How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God! For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. Jesus said it! I believe it! And that settles it!

I got Jesus!
Ephesians 6 vs 10-20: "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak." The gospel is the good news, Jesus is the good news!
He is my peace! He is the Prince of Peace!

My faith lies in Him and He is the author and finisher of my faith.

My salvation comes through Him! He is my salvation!

John 1 vs 1,4 In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God and the Word became flesh and lived among us.
There is one last piece of the armor which we must not neglect, and it is found in Ephesians 6 vs 18 "praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance." Prayer in the Spirit according to the Holy Spirit's perfect understanding of the will of the Father is the seventh piece in the whole armor of God. It is another offensive weapon, and it is a mighty force to be reckoned with. Romans 8 vs 26, 27 tells us, "Likewise the Spirit also helps our infirmities [weaknesses]: for we don't know what we should pray for as we ought to: but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And He who searches the hearts [God the Father] knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God."
Those of us who are Pentecostal or Charismatic in our theology understand "praying in the Spirit" to mean praying in our prayer language. We know that when we do this, the Holy Spirit prays perfectly through us, according to our Father's will, and as a result, His Kingdom is established on earth in the area we are praying about. The prayer language is a powerful weapon of our spiritual warfare (2 Corinthians 10 vs 4).
I believe that even when we pray in our natural language, however, we can "pray in the Spirit." I ask the Lord to guide all my praying, both in tongues and in English, so that none of it is done in the flesh; so that all of it is according to His will. As we are sensitive to Him and stay in intimate connection with Him, we grow more adept at hitting the bull's eye of praying perfectly in the Spirit at all times.
So you see folks.....Jesus is my armor!

Accept The Lamb or Face The Lion

He first came as a Lamb, meek and without blemish. He’s returning as a Lion, scarred and ready for battle.
Accept the Lamb or face the Lion.
As the Lamb: He was oppressed and He was afflicted, yet He did not open His mouth; like a lamb that is led to slaughter and like a sheep that is silent before it’s shearers, so He did not open His mouth even unto death. He was beaten, scorned, spit on, and then crucified but He opened not His mouth. For you see, without the shedding of blood, there can be no remission of sin. He made Himself a sacrifice and shed His blood for the sins of you and I! "Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world."
"Worthy is the Lamb that was slain" the angels and the holy will sing. But those who don't know God and who have refused to obey His will cry out to the mountains and to the rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the presence of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb."
As a Lion: When the Lord shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire, dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. He will be dealing out retribution to those who rejected His and spit in the face of the work He did at the cross of Calvary. He sent His only to die for the sins of the world and He will not let this rejection go unpunished. Behold, your God will come with vengeance; the recompense of God will come, but He will save you if you call upon His name, Jesus. "In that day whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord will be saved".
"I lay before you life and death, heaven and hell. Choose life and live to reign with Me forever," saith the Lord thy God.
Accept the Lamb or face the Lion.
