After reading AgapeRocker's blog this morning about who killed Jesus the Lord gave me this poem.

It was me who nailed Him to that tree

My Tender Heart

I'm sorry y'all but I have a tender heart. It is so tender that it's easily bruised and wounded. When this happens, when my feelings are hurt, I run to my Father to be petted and made better. I have prayed for a 'tougher' heart but He tells me He likes my tender heart. And you know what? I've decided I do too, even if it does get broken often. For you see my tender heart and sensitive feelings make me more tender to His Spirit and more able to hear His voice. And I wouldn't trade that for all the tea in China. And it allows me to love as He loves! And that's my prayer, to love as He loves, to see people as He sees them. I have prayed and still pray for Him not to create a new heart in me but to put HIS heart in me. I've asked Him to show me the wounds of those who have been wounded in battle or just by life so I can intercede for them and maybe offer a little comfort or a smile or a kind word. Maybe just maybe make someones day just a little brighter and their pain or burden a little lighter. I pray for Him to give me ears to hear the unspoken and eyes to see the unseen. I want to be so much like Him the world would have a hard time telling us apart. And if that means getting my feelings hurt and my heart bruised...well so be it! Look how His heart was bruised and broken and He still loved!
Forgive me if I've hurt anyone! Believe me that is the last thing I would ever want to do. I truly do love you all!

Our Sing - A- Long

Some of you may have seen 4gvnrn's blogs about our sing a longs on Sunday night. If so, why haven't you joined us?
Seriously, we are having such a good time praising the Lord with song and fellowshipping with others. We not only sing and praise the Lord we chat and cut up with each other. But it's not all just fun and games! Just last night we had the privilege of praying for a precious young woman who is facing surgery and was very frightened.
Of course with all things there has to be a 'chain of command' so to speak or there would be complete chaos. Our regulars: 4gvnrn is the hostess with the mostest LOL, thedrifter....well we designated him our head, the boss (he'll deny this the humble man he is) but we know! And then there are us peons...me and the Rockster (AgapeRocker). Rock keeps things rocking and me...well I'm just there. Everyone is welcome! Come as you are but you have to bring your own brownies LOL. 4gvnrn has been promising brownies ever since this started and I have yet to see them or even smell them. But I'm not giving up hope!
Okay here are the vitals:
When: Sunday nights

You know I 'hear' people here say that this site also owns ands operates in pornography and they don't feel right being here because of that. That they don't feel like their light ought to be here shining in this devil's den. Let me tell you about my Jesus! Mark 2 vs 15-17
And it came to pass, that He was sitting at meat in his house, and many publicans and sinners sat down with Jesus and His disciples: for there were many, and they followed Him.
And the scribes of the Pharisees, when they saw that He was eating with the sinners and publicans, said unto His disciples, How is it that He eateth and drinketh with publicans and sinners?
And when Jesus heard it, He saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of a physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.
Jesus came to save sinners. Yes, all of us are sinners. Unfortunately, many try to pretend they are not sinners or defend the sins they have committed as 'normal failures' or 'mistakes.' This is true even of people who consider themselves religious. Jesus reminds us that he came to rescue sinners. Okay picture this....someone is surfing the web looking for porno, and since this site promotes porno, they 'accidently' (but there are really no accidents with Jesus) stumble into this place and see something that stops them in their tracks and puts a desire in their hearts to know this Jesus we're talking about. Now how awesome would that be! Like I've said time and time again not everyone who comes here is Christian! And we don't 'see' everyone who comes here! Just last night I met a young woman in our sing a long who mentioned she liked my blogs. I've never 'seen' her here. I had no idea she was here. She doesn't comment but she reads. How many more come here that we don't even know are here? And one more thing the Lord brought to my mind this morning reading kaywhim's blog....we are using the devil's territory for Jesus! And we're using their money to do it! Now how awesome is that!
Yep that's my Jesus! ^;^

Hey y'all if y'all put me on your watch list, when I have something to say, I'll turn 'yeller'. Who knows I just may have some pearls of wisdom to cast out there.
Nah, just teasing you  but if you're interested in following my distilled water diet This is me before I'll be going there every so often giving updates. So far I've lost 2 pounds in just six days. Not bad huh? Hey Drifter, I think it's working! 
But I still have about 28 to go....

The most beautiful thing to see is a person smiling… And even more beautiful, is knowing that you are the reason behind it! Smile at someone today! It don't cost you nothing! ♥
Let's start an epidemic of smiles! I smile at you, you smile at me and someone else and that someone smiles at someone else and ...well you get the picture. Guess what happens then? The whole world will be smiling! Now how awesome would that be!

Get Over Yourself

Cause you ain’t nothing or nobody……without Jesus!
If you’re thinking you’re all that and a bag of chips or thinking you’re great…..think again. The Word of God tells me that the lowest will be the highest and the last will be first! The Word of God tells me there are 7 things the Lord hates and one of them is a haughty spirit. “These six things the LORD hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren.”
These things that God hates comes from persons heart. Notice Jesus says in Matthew 15 vs 19 "For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. "These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man."
Let’s examine a haughty spirit or a proud look. This describes a person who thinks that they’re all that and then some. We would describe this person a know-it-all or a person who thinks they are better than everyone else. We might also describe this person as being arrogant or haughty. I am sure that everyone in here has run across a person like this. Let me give you some examples of what this kind of person does. Because of the their pride they will argue with you until they’re blue in the face, even if they’re wrong and have been proven wrong, because they don’t want to admit that someone else could possibly be right. Another characteristic of this type of person is one who constantly tries to one-up everyone. Let’s say you tell this person that you run a mile every day. Well not wanting to be outdone rather it is true or not they will say oh really well I run 2 miles a day. It doesn’t matter if you tell them about what your did or what kind of vacation you went on this person’s or vacation was better according to them. These kind of people will belittle others to make themselves fell superior. God’s Word warns us about people who have the haughty attitude He informs us as Christians to turn away from such people and goes on to say that because of haughtiness they’re always learning but are never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. You see whenever you think you know it all, it becomes impossible to teach you anything because you are so wrapped up in yourself. While having this attitude might make you feel good on the inside this feeling will only be temporary and it is not worth the cost of being opposed to God.
Flee from these kind of people!
God’s Word also tells us in James 4 vs 6 "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble."
So if you are arrogant or a know-it-all God is going to resist you and will not give you His saving grace because He will only give it to the humble which is the opposite attitude of the proud. When the day of judgment comes and we must all stand before God, those who have had this arrogant attitude will be taken away.
Isaiah 13:11 "I will punish the world for its evil, And the wicked for their iniquity; I will halt the arrogance of the proud, And will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
Now that we have examined the horrible consequences of this sin let us now turn to God for Whom without you would not have your next breath or your heart would not beat it’s next beat.
Let me leave with just one more scripture:
Philippians 2 vs 1-9 Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name.
If anyone had a right to be proud it would have been Jesus after all He was deity yet even He humbled Himself before God and said that He came to the earth to serve and not to be served. Let us follow His example and humble ourselves before Him. Let us love one another as Christ loves us! He tells us the world will know we’re His disciples by the love we have one for the other!
I know I'm nothing without Him! Every breath I take, every move I make, every beat of my heart is directed by Him. Everything I am or ever hope to be is because of Him!
