My Two Cents

Hello Welcome to my blog!

God is wanting you to seek His face and not His hands!

God longs to reveal Himself to you.
Desire a closer relationship with the Creator and not His creations.
My prayer is that something I post here will cause you to have that desire, to put a hunger in you that only Jesus can fill. He is waiting.....

Be blessed in Jesus name!

Thank you for coming and hurry back. The door is always open and I'll leave the light on for you!

Disclaimer: I don't have to agree with the way you believe, what you say or how you worship in order for me to love you. And about anything I might say here or what anyone else may say, my advice to you is eat the meat and spit out the bones!

Friendly Fire

Friendly fire is a military term which refers to the discharge of a weapon which results in death or injury among fellow soldiers or allies. Where friendly troops are mistakenly attacked in the belief that they are the enemy. But I believe we are all on the same side here. Are we not all soldiers for Christ! Are we not all in the same army? We need to know who the real enemy is! It is not your brother nor is it your sister! We do not fight against flesh and blood but against the evils and principalities of darkness. Our enemy is an unseen enemy! Only when we allow the Holy Ghost to work in us and through us, can we identify the real enemy.
A number of things can lead to friendly fire. One of the most common is miscommunication. Adequate communication on the battlefield can sometimes be very challenging, especially in a chaotic environment. Such as here at BigChurch! Soldiers are often fighting on land with which they are not familiar. Such as the internet! When being fired upon by enemy troops, the direction from which shots are coming can get confusing. With the internet it is hard to distinguish the meaning of one’s words or where they’re coming from. Are they teasing, are they belittling, are they judging? Poor terrain and visibility also contribute to friendly fire. Not being able to see clearly! When I can see your face I can get an idea of the meaning of your words. Is there a twinkle in your eye or are there fiery darts shooting from them? The tongue can kill as surely as a bullet in the heart. We all recognize that physical violence is injurious behavior, but so is mental and verbal antagonism. Angry accusations and words boil up from a heart of smoldering malice. That’s why it’s so important that we pay careful attention to our words. ‘In the old days, people condemned murder; and truly murder is forever wrong. But I tell you that not only are your outward actions under judgment; your inmost thought are also under the scrutiny and judgment of God. Long-lasting anger is bad; contemptuous speaking is worse, and the careless or the malicious talk which destroys a person’s good name is worst of all. Those who are the slaves of anger, who speak in the accent of contempt, or who destroy another’s good name, may never have committed a murder in action; but they are murderers at heart" (William Barclay, "Words of Insult," The Gospel of Matthew, Vol. 1, 163).
Brethren, we can be guilty of murder in the church ( Proverbs 18:21)! While we may never "pull the trigger," we can still think and say things which kill our relationships with fellow Christians ( Ephesians 4:25-32), and in turn kill our relationship with the holy Father ( Psalm 66:18 ).
Combat stress can also lead to a friendly fire incident in which a soldier mistakenly believes that he or she is shooting at the enemy. Are you fighting an inner battle of your own and just plain tired of the battle, so tired you can’t seem to see straight. I’ve been that tired! It is then we need to retreat to a place of rest and return with ‘new’ eyes. Spend some time resting at the feet of Jesus! Then we can come back into the battle full aware of who the real enemy is.
I wonder how many in the ‘church’ have been wounded by friendly fire! How many times have we as Christians wounded other Christians all in the name of God? People, we need to figure out who our real enemy is and stop shooting our own soldiers! Only the church shoots their soldiers and then leaves them laying on the battlefield to fend for themselves. This needs to stop! We can be such a force to reckon with if we’d just come together in on accord with one mind! And stop fighting each other. Stop the so called 'friendly' fire!
Think about it darlin’

with Jesus and it's not complicated!
He is gentle yet strong! He is meek yet bold! I call Him Beloved!
My Beloved wakes me every morning and walks with me through the day. He holds me in His arms and watches as I sleep all night! Oh how I love this husband God has given me! He holds my heart in His hand! He will never bruise it nor break it....EVER! His promise is that He will never leave me nor forsake me! He is ever faithful and keeps every promise! He will not lie nor cheat! He is always there and comes running when I call. Now someone tell me.....how awesome is that!

For thy Maker [is] thine husband; the LORD of hosts [is] His name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall He be called. Isaiah 54:5

The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and His ears are open unto their cry. The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. Many are the afflictions of the righteous. The Lord redeemeth the soul of His servants: and none of them that trust in Him shall be desolate. (Psalm 34:15, 17, 19, 22)

In just these few passages from Psalms, we are given enough of God's Word to drive out all unbelief.
I urge you now: hear it, trust it, obey it.
And finally, rest in it.

Hi Sweety

Wow, incredible profile & you are stunning, gorgeous actually. I saw your profile and it caused and unusual impact, I am interested in you. You have such a beautiful profile. Have you found your lover? If you are still searching, I would like to know more about you, what motivates you? What makes your heart leap with passion? Love? Joy? I find your intelligence and handsome very exciting. Your profile drew me in and captivated me. Mine seems so barren compared to yours. I'm looking for a man who wants to take the time to get to know me through email correspondence and an open sharing of the head and the heart first through email and Chatting online and then negotiating a meeting in person if we both remain interested. I am ready willing and able to venture forth on a journey that will leave the past behind while preserving the best memories and forgiving the ones that were hurtful and usually unintentional. I live life one day, one hour, one moment at a time. I want and need the healing power of love physically emotionally and spiritually. I live as if time were on fire and I believe that every day of the right relationship should be treated like the first day of our honeymoon. I want to share what I have with one special man who will appreciate that I have a deep capacity to love that needs to be filled and fulfilled. We can't keep it unless we give it away. I am writing these thoughts as the flow into my head and my sense is that they are coming directly from my heart. I'm feeling very peaceful now and this seems like the appropriate place to stop. If for some reason we happen not to be right for each other, I wish you the best in your search. I wish you continued passion and an exciting lover to keep your fires burning. I appreciate and admire your intensity...well concerning sexuality; I am not a promiscuous man. My desire is to be sexually faithful to the man I marry. If two people love each other and will communicate what they like and do not like about their partner's sexual behavior, I believe many problems can be resolved. Moreover, hope to hear back from you Remember, I need True love. I don’t play games and I aunt ready to be played...
Hope to hear back from you
Micheal.

Jesus said He left us two commandments.....
Love your God with all your heart and with all your mind and love your neighbor as yourself. He also says that the world will know we are His disciples by the love we have one for the other.
Where's the love?
What are we showing people who just happen to 'stumble' in here? Fighting, bickering, pointing fingers and judging our brethren?

We should be showing them Jesus!

Merry Christmas to all!
Silver and gold have I none, but of all that I have, I give you Jesus!

Alabama

A group of Alabama friends went deer hunting and paired off in twos for the day. That night, one of the hunters returned alone, staggering under the weight of an eight-point buck.
"Where's Henry?" the others asked.
"Henry had a stroke of some kind. He's a couple of miles back up the trail," the successful hunter replied.
"You left Henry laying out there and carried the deer back?" they inquired.
"A tough call," nodded the hunter. "But I figured no one is going to steal Henry!"

Georgia

The owner of a golf course in Georgia was confused about paying an invoice, so he decided to ask his secretary for some mathematical help.
He called her into his office and said, "You graduated from the University of Georgia and I need some help. If I were to give you $20,000, minus 14%, how much would you take off?"
The secretary thought a moment, and then replied, "Everything but my earrings."

Louisiana

A senior at Louisiana was overheard saying .. "When the end of the world comes, I hope to be in Louisiana ."
When asked why, he replied, "He'd rather be in Louisiana because everything happens in Louisiana 20 years later than in the rest of the civilized world."

Mississippi

The young man from Mississippi came running into the store and said to his buddy, "Bubba, somebody just stole your pickup truck from the parking lot!"
Bubba replied, "Did you see who it was?"
The young man answered, "I couldn't tell, but I got the license number."

North Carolina

A man in North Carolina had a flat tire, pulled off on the side of the road, and proceeded to put a bouquet of flowers in front of the car and one behind it. Then he got back in the car to wait. A passerby studied the scene as he drove by and was so curious he turned around and went back. He asked the fellow what the problem was.
The man replied, "I have a flat tire."
The passerby asked, "But what's with the flowers?"
The man responded, "When you break down they tell you to put flares in the front and flares in the back. I never did understand it neither."

Tennessee

A Tennessee State trooper pulled over a pickup on I-65. The trooper asked, "Got any ID?" The driver replied, "Bout whut?"

Texas

The Sheriff pulled up next to the guy unloading garbage out of his pick-up into the ditch.
The Sheriff asked, "Why are you dumping garbage in the ditch? Don't you see that sign right over your head."
"Yep", he replied. "That's why I'm dumpin' it here, cause it says: 'Fine For Dumping Garbage'."

You can say what you want about the South,
But you never hear of anyone retiring and moving North

Scripture Reference: 1 Samuel 25:1 vs 38

And Abigail came to Nabal; and, behold, he held a feast in his house, like the feast of a king and Nabal's heart was merry within him, for he was very drunken. Wherefore she told him nothing, less or more, until the morning light.
One of the most obnoxious men in the Bible is Nabal. Nabal was a wealthy shepherd who had many flocks and servants. It appears that David and his men showed kindness to Nabal's servants and gave protection to them. Subsequently David's men needed provision and refreshment and he sent them to Nabal. But when David's men arrived at Carmel, Nabal lashed out at them, ridiculed them, and refused any help to them. The Bible describes Nabal as a churlish man "and evil in his doings." This simply means that he was hard to deal with, a difficult person to get along with. Not recognizing the anointing of God on David, Nabal demanded, "Who is David? and who is the of Jesse?" He ranked David among the common mavericks of the day. Nabal sent David's men away empty-handed. When the men returned to David and reported to him how offensively Nabal had acted and how unfriendly he had been, David's anger was piqued.
Four hundred of David's warriors were prepared to march against Nabal and retaliate for his unfriendly attitude. This would have engaged David in a sinful tirade against a sinful tyrant. Had it not been for the intervention of God through the actions of the quick-thinking wife of Nabal, David would undoubtedly have shed innocent blood that day. But Abigail, Nabal's wife, intercepted the irate David, brought gifts to him and persuaded him not to take vengeance against her husband. She was God's messenger to God's man and David said to Abigail, "Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, which sent thee this day to meet me; and blessed be thy advice, and blessed be thou, which hast kept me this day from coming to shed blood, and from avenging myself with mine own hand." Nabal's attitude was unforgivable, but David's reaction was equally unforgivable. He would heed Abigail's advice, the same advice Paul gave to the Roman believers when he said, "Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto [God's] wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, saith the Lord" (Romans 12:19).
When Abigail returned to tell her husband what she had done, she wisely decided to tell him nothing until the morning light since he was filled with wine (1 Samuel 25:36). In the morning (verse 37) when Nabal was sober, Abigail related to him what she had done to spare his life and the reputation of David. At that point the churlish man apparently had a stroke and 10 days later the Lord took his life. Abigail's wisdom permitted God to return the wickedness of Nabal upon his own head and still preserve David from making a foolish mistake.
General Robert E. Lee was asked what he thought of one of his fellow officers in the Confederate Army. This officer had made many derogatory remarks about General Lee. Lee rated him as a fine officer and good soldier. Someone questioned, saying, "General, I guess you don't know what he's been saying about you." Lee responded, "I know, but I was asked my opinion of him, not his opinion of me!"
Although we may be slandered or maligned by others, we are not at liberty to do anything but show the love of the Lord Jesus unto them. Perhaps today you have an antagonist spreading falsehood about you. Do not plan to avenge the wrong you have been done; give place to God's wrath instead and speak kindly of that antagonist. Then and then alone will a difficult situation bring glory to the name of God.

*from me ♥
How easy it would be to lash out, curse and yes even look for ways to get even when someone has hurt or wronged you but the Lord says "NO!" He has told me many times that the battle was not mine but His. I can't count the many times He's told me to just be quite or trust Him or just plain shut up.
He tells us we are to pray for our enemies and bless those who curse you. Wow Lord, that's asking a lot of a person! No it's not, He did it! "Father forgive them for they know what they do." If He did it then He's made a way for us to do it. There's been times I just felt like there's no way I could possibly forgive someone and then I pray and tell God I have no forgiveness in me, allow me to forgive with Your forgiveness. Or I can't love this person Lord, there's just no love in me for this one, allow me to love with Your love. He always comes through! He has never failed me yet! He has always provided whatever it was I needed!

My prayer:
Lord allow me to see people as You see them and love them as You love them. Give me ears to hear and eyes to see, in Jesus name. Lord, let me see the unseen and hear the unsaid! Allow me to see the pain of the wounded and tears of the grieving! Then I will be able to stand in the gap for Your people. You said I searched and could find no one to stand in the gap. I say, "Here I am Lord!"
Use me as You will, not as I will.
Give me Your heart Jesus! Let Your will be my will and Your ways my ways!
Put Your vision in my heart and guide me to do what You have me to do to fulfill that vision. I am Yours and You are mine! Me in You and You in me! I want to be so much like You the world won't be able to tell us apart. Make me like You my Love!
Give me wisdom and revelation knowledge in Jesus name!
In Your most holy and precious name I offer this prayer up to You. I thank You for You are a God that hears the cries of Your . I thank You for You not only hear but come running and answer! I worship and adore You! You are my heart! You are my joy and my strength! My hope lies in You! You are my Beloved! You are my Lord and my God! You will be whatever I need!
Again, I offer You my thanks! You are appreciated!
Bless my friends Lord and meet their every need. Give them the desires of their heart! Reveal Yourself to them in a new and mighty way! Glorify Yourself in their lives Jesus!
Be God in my life and in theirs.
In Jesus name, Amen!

I love you friends of mine!

People try to tell me that my hope is all in vain
But they don't know the One I trust
And the One to Whom I pray
They don’t know there’s power in the name
Of the One who left His throne and came
To earth to die and shed His blood
They just don't know Him or the power His love
They don’t know that at the name of Jesus
Sins chains are broken, all captive set free
And at the name of Jesus
The wounded and broken are healed
And at the name of Jesus
Hell trembles and satan must flee
And at the name of Jesus
Every knee will bow
All on the earth and those in hell
