The Bible has no record of what Jesus did after the age of 12 until 30, what happened then?

This is often termed the missing 18 years of Jesus. Many believe Jesus became an explorer who traveled to far off lands like India and Tibet and spent his time learning of other religions. They try to fill in his history of where he lived and was educated that is supposedly missing in the Bible to account for his great powers and miracles. That he learned this Spiritual knowledge by secret teachings he discovered as an initiate trained in occult knowledge.

The Scripture has a completely different view than the mystics. What is assumed as missing years is actually used not missing at all only silent until the time he is to be revealed as the Messiah the of God.

We are told of Jesus when he was very young “And the grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace of God was upon Him” (Luke 2:40).

The last record we have is when he was 12, Luke 2:41-47 His parents went to Jerusalem every year at the Feast of the Passover. “And when He was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem according to the custom of the feast When they had finished the days, as they returned, the Boy Jesus lingered behind in Jerusalem. ... they returned to Jerusalem, seeking Him.

Now so it was that after three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions. And all who heard Him were astonished at His understanding and answers.” Jesus did not have to travel and study to get his knowledge, he already possessed it. As we can see at this young age he was already contending with the learned Rabbis on what the Scripture said and they were in awe of his knowledge.

How? He was born with it, because He was God who became man . Luke 2:11: “For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” He was Christ when he was born, he didn't become a Christ or have the Christ spirit to come upon him. He was Yahweh, the Lord who incarnated among the people that He gave His laws to and prophesied by the words of their own prophets (Isa.9:6). Jesus was specifically taught by His Father unlike any other person as he developed (Isaiah 50:4-7).

After the incident in the temple we find the Scripture state Luke 2:51-52: “Then He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was subject to them, but His mother kept all these things in her heart. And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.” He didn't go travel seeking wisdom he had it and he stayed with his mother.

Mark 6:2-3: “He began to teach in the synagogue. And many hearing Him were astonished, saying, “Where did this Man get these things? And what wisdom is this which is given to Him, that such mighty works are performed by His hands! “Is this not the carpenter, the of Mary, and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And are not His sisters here with us?” And they were offended at Him.” The peoples argument is that they knew him and his family, and could not understand how it is possible to be so learned and have the power of God when he grew up among them. This proves he did not have the time to go off and study other religions but devoted his life to the Hebrew scriptures.

Luke 4:22: ”So all bore witness to Him, and marveled at the gracious words which proceeded out of His mouth. And they said, “Is this not Joseph's ?”

There are three feast days (Holy Days Lev. 23) two are in spring, one in fall that every Jewish male is required to attend or they would have broken the law. If Christ had broken even the smallest law, he would have become a sinner like the rest of us and would have been disqualified to be the Messiah. The Bible tells us Jesus was without sin. To travel to India or Tibet as some claim would make it impossible to return back for each of the feast days in Israel. Remember this all occurred before he was revealed as the Messiah so he was not using any supernatural abilities.

What Jesus said and taught was quoted from, and based on the Old Testament, not from any other religion or philosophers teaching. He never quoted any other prophet except his own, which makes this theory unlikely that He learned elsewhere. He led a quiet life learning the word until the time was for him to be revealed

Is Healing Guaranteed in the Atonement?

The possibility of healing is because of the atonement but there is NO guarantee of healing in the atonement ‒ In other words if there was a guarantee of healing as there was salvation then every person who was forgiven by the atonement would be healed automatically without asking, it would be included. you have a cold, when you get saved it would be removed.

Because he died for us we can be healed emotionally, as well as physically. But only a spiritual healing is what the atonement applies to for each person who believes the gospel, you may or may not be healed.

Too many believe that if you take a position of conditional healing then you don’t believe in it. We ought to believe in healing, in healing as the Bible presents it, not as a faith teacher twists it.

The issue should not be “does God heal today” but will He heal- is it dependent on his will and purpose? The Bible certainly makes it clear that it does.

One of the most used and abused passages is Isaiah 53:5: “By His stripes we are healed.” Many claim this as a guaranteed promise of physical healing (Jesus being whipped). So they make this a biblical mantra or an affirmation of healing.

The word “stripes” is actually in the singular, relating to his being struck once in his crucifixion, to cure our sins, by dying for sins once. This is especially important as many claim we were healed from his stripes (whippings, etc.), because these stripes were from men not God. If these stripes heal us physically and the Bible teaches that we were healed spiritually from our sins by the whipping (stripes), then Christ did not need to go to the cross. Neither did Jesus Christ did not bear the sins of the world when he was scourged but on the cross.

We should not assume every time we see the word “heal” in the Bible it is referring to divine healing for the physical body. The common Greek term for physical “healing” is therapis, therapeuo (from the Hebrew rapha), in the Isaiah 53 text, and the context in which it is quoted is focused on sin, not our sickness or illness. We should not disregard what the context is about.

The word “iniquity” is found four times in Isaiah 53 ‒ Verse 3:5 Christ was crushed for our iniquities. Verse 6: the Lord has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him. Verse 11 is about the travail of his soul, “He will bear our iniquities.” Verse 12: and He Himself bore the sins of many (cited in 1 Peter 2:24). The primary point through Isaiah 53 is the spiritual healing from the effects of sin. It has everything to do with our sin problem and the redemption of a sacrifice (the lamb) needed to remove sin.

The verse of Isaiah 53:5 fully reads, “But He was wounded (pierced) for our transgressions (Breaking the law), he was bruised (crushed, punished) for our iniquities (sins); the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.” This is in reference to all the various sins being removed at the cross. One needs to go to the New Testament to see how the writers interpreted this verse. To understand it we only need to go to the apostles and how they applied it. Peter defines it in 1 Peter 2:24: “who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness‒by whose stripes you were healed.” The context is that of spiritual healing from sin, not physical healing of sicknesses. The New Testament reference to this verse does not even mention illness. One might argue that illness comes from sin, so does death, and no one that claims this verse has escaped death, even those who teach on it. Neither Paul nor any other apostle recommended Isaiah 53:5 as a cure apprehended by faith for himself or others. There is no account of any person saying “by your stripes I’m healed.” They did not teach this to the church. If our sicknesses were all to be healed now, we would not die, death is a consequence of sin, and “The wages of sin is death,” still takes place until the last enemy is defeated (1Cor.15:52). If God has not removed physical death then he has not removed all our sicknesses.

If healing were a guarantee in the atonement than everyone would be physically healed of whatever ails them at the same time they are spiritually saved. Why do the sick NOT always receive a physical healing when they first believed? The same faith we used to be saved spiritually certainly is enough to be healed if it is incorporated in the atonement. If faith in the cross is a guarantee of healing then all should be physically cured automatically when they are first saved and be continually healed as they are continually saved.

The context in 1 Peter 2:24 is Salvation, there is no other way to interpret it. “Who himself bore our sins in His own body ON THE TREE.”1 Peter 2:24 carries the meaning of Jesus the suffering servant is the paschal lamb who bore the punishment due to our sins. Just as in the Old Testament when the Passover lamb or the sacrifices were made they were to forgive sins, not to heal diseases.

1 Peter (1:24), when quoting Isaiah’s passage (53:5) on whose stripes you were healed refers back to “Who himself bore our sins. The stripe is the crucifixion- the cross where the blood is shed is related to sin. Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin. John writes “the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin” (1 John 1). It is not used in reference to physical illnesses.

Peter says the result is that we might now live unto righteousness, because he bore our sins. Something we were unable to do before because of our sin, now we are no longer slaves to sin but as Paul states slaves to righteousness (Romans 6:16-1. Healing for the body and mind is a benefit of Christ’s death, included at the cross. But it is not saying that physical healing of the body is guaranteed to every believer with salvation. This does not dismiss the possibility of physically healing, but it in no way guarantees it to all as we live in this sinful world so that we live in “Divine health” today. death and disease will be part of our human condition until we receive our resurrected bodies (1 Corinthians 15:42-44, 51-55). The resurrection will give us new bodies and it is then our nature will be changed and we will be disease free (Romans 8:18-25).

So to summarize- If by his stripes were actually part of the atonement, then every one of us would be healed when we believed. You would not need a separate faith for this; if it was part of the atonement it would not be so difficult to be healed than it would be to be forgiven.

Is there healing in the atonement? Yes, but it is not a general promise to all believers for the present time. Some may be healed and still some may have to wait in time to be healed. But the Bible guarantees that we will all be healed at the resurrection.

Who wrote the first 5 books in the Bible?

The books themselves claim to have been written by Moses, and there are portions of Genesis that Moses was a compiler of early documents or as some believe wrote down the memorized oral tradition (Gen.1-10). Genesis means origin or source. The “Generations of” the family documents, genealogical lines, the expansion of sin through early history and the judgment of God. (Lev.1:1-2; Num.33:2 Deut.1:1 Ex.17:14). The narrative of Genesis is structured by the phrase that These are the generations which occurs ten times “ [Generations- toledot, “family histories”]

What God told Moses he wrote. He did not write anything God did not have him to write.

Exodus 24:4: “And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD. And he rose early in the morning, and built an altar at the foot of the mountain, and twelve pillars according to the twelve tribes of Israel.”

Exodus 34:27-28 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Write these words, for according to the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel.” So he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread nor drank water. And He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.” I

(Ex. 24:4,7; 34:27-28; Nu. 33:2; De. 1:1-5; 4:4-5; 31:9-12,24-26). If Moses did not write the Pentateuch, the Bible is inaccurate from its beginning. (Joshua 1; 8:30-35; Judges 3:4; 1 Ki. 2:3; 2 Ki. 14:6; 22:8-11; 23:21-25; Ezra 3:2; Neh. 8:1; 9:14; Dan. 9:11; Mal. 4:4; Mark 12:19 )

The books of Genesis, Leviticus, and Deuteronomy, are separate units which collectively are called the Pentateuch penta, “five;” teuchos, “a tool” or “implement,” the five-fold book.

Not only does the internal evidence of the Scriptures make it clear that Moses wrote the Pentateuch, but other Old Testament books make Mosaic authorship clear. Joshua 8:31 refers to “the book of the law of Moses” Joshua 8:32 calls it “the law of Moses, which he had written.” Other Old Testament references are I Kings 2:3, II Kings 14:6, and Joshua 23:6, which attribute to Moses the authorship of the Pentateuch.

Then we have testimony of the New Testament. The apostles said that ‘Moses wrote unto us’ (Mark 12:19) as did the apostle Paul, who when speaking of a passage in the Pentateuch said, ‘Moses describeth’ (Romans 10:5).

The issue as to the authorship of the first five books is also enforced by the testimony of the Jesus Christ. Jesus made it clear that Moses wrote these books (Mark 7:10; 10:3‒5; 12:26; Luke 2:22,5:14; 16:29‒31; 24:27, 44; John 7:19, 23). Jesus Christ quoted from every part of the Pentateuch (5 books) and attributed the authorship to Moses: Genesis (Mt. 19:4-6; 24:37-39); Exodus (Mk. 12:26 citing Ex. 3:6); Leviticus (Mt. 8:4 citing Lev. 14:1-32); Numbers (Jn. 3:14-15 citing Num. 21:8,9 and Jn. 6:31-32 citing Num. 11:6-9); Deuteronomy (Mk. 10:4-5 citing Deut. 24:1).

The early church, believed Moses was the author, the Jerusalem Talmud and the first century Jewish historian Josephus.

John 1:17 For the law was given through Moses” So he is attributed to be the author of the law which is found ion Leviticus and Deuteronomy).

Jesus refers to Moses in marriage that is established in the beginning of Genesis. Mark 10:3-8 “What did Moses command you?” They said, “Moses permitted a man to write a certificate of divorce, and to dismiss her.” And Jesus answered and said to them, “Because of the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept. But from the beginning of the creation, God 'made them male and female.' 'For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh'; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh.”

John 8:4-5 They said to Him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses , in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned.”

Numbers 33:2-3 “Now Moses wrote down the starting points of their journeys at the command of the LORD. And these are their journeys according to their starting points”

Deuteronomy 31:9: “So Moses wrote this law and delivered it to the priests”

John 5:46-47 “For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?”

When did Moses write about Jesus? In Gen.3:15 when the prophecy of the Messiah was first given. Also when Jesus spoke of “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the of Man be lifted up” John 3:14)

Mark 12:26-27 ‘But concerning the dead, that they rise, have you not read in the book of Moses , in the burning bush passage, how God spoke to him, saying, 'I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'? 27 He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living. You are therefore greatly mistaken.”

Here Jesus does not cite book of Exodus but calls it the book of Moses. There are many more examples like this.

Luke 16:31: But he said to him, 'If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rise from the dead.' “

Luke 24:27:And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself. “

Moses authored the book until he died (chapter 34 of Deuteronomy).

Deuteronomy 31:24: “Moses made an end of writing the words of this law in a book” the whole Pentateuch. Joshua is told to continue the writing. The Old Testament books have numerous references to the laws, history, of the Pentateuch they are universally accepted as words of Moses.

Who is Jezebel in Rev.2:20?

The church is called the bride of Christ. The wicked women in the Bible each represent some facet of false religion and spiritual harlotry to us.

Jezebel is mentioned but she is no longer living in church history, she is an example from the Old testament of stumbling saints (2 Kings 9-10) It expresses a general principle seen in “Jezebel” (Revelation 2:20)

The Jezebel in the days of Elijah teaches us something about the Jezebel in the church in the book of Revelation. Jezebel who married King Ahab introduced a new religious system to Israel, which brought them into false worship, idolatry. At one point in the prophet Elijah’s ministry Elijah was discouraged and hid from Jezebel in a cave. So she chased the true prophets away.

Rev.2:20 is speaking symbolically of a actual woman that calls herself a prophetess, a teacher; one of power and influence in Thyatira. “the feminine in Hebrew often collectively expresses a multitude, a set of false prophets” (from Jamieson, Fausset, and Brown Commentary)

Her name was probably not Jezebel but she acted in the same manner. She corrupted the church and harassed the followers of God in that city, as Jezebel did to Israel. Jezebel was the wife of Ahab; that used the weakness of the king for her own means to establish the worship of idols instead of the worship of the true God. Jezebel went beyond the golden calf idolatrous worship which was called the true God in ox form.

A similar warning is found in Revelation 2:14-15 that is in reference to Balaam, a prophet in Israel's early history “But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.”

The Lord in the Old Testament was in a covenant relation to Israel as a marriage, their transgression of worship was considered fornication, or adultery (Isaiah 54:5). The Jezebel in the church taught the Christians fornication, and eating things offered to idols. The fornication here is probably means idolatry, worship of other gods (or it could be both). The church learned to tolerate her.

Today you hear anyone who disagrees with a self appointed prophets ministry as having the Jezebel spirit. This is pure intimidation and actually the very opposite of what the text is teaching.

Revelation 2:21: “And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

This refers back to the Jezebel in the Old Testament. She willingly resisted to repent. According to the Mosaic law, the punishment of idolaters was to be quick, but God would sometimes showed mercy by giving more time to repent; God sent Elijah to Ahab to pronounce a severe judgment upon him; Ahab showed signs of repentance, so God put off his judgment, and punishment pronounced against Jezebel was also suspended. God gave her more time to repent, she did not, instead she seduced her sons to the same sins(1 Kings 21).

Revelation 2:22 “Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.”

The 's bed becomes a sick-bed, one of disease or pestilence. Those who were seduced by her doctrines also shared in the judgment of her sin in a different punishment. They go into great tribulation, meaning great suffering; possibly referring to the Great Tribulation that is coming. The true Jezebel died a horrendous death being thrown out a window and was trampled. (2 Kings 9:22,30). She was known for her “whoredoms ... and her witchcrafts."

The Moses Code

The Secret unfolds further- the process of deceit

The Moses Code

The New age movement has been anticipating a transformative shift that will affect consciousness on a global level, up until now it has been coming in small introductory steps.

“The Secret,” has continued on the New York Times Best Seller list over 59 weeks. The Secret was only the beginning of a worldwide process to shift consciousness to the new paradigm. On the weekend of April 5-6, 2008, there will be a new movie released called The Moses Code. (This is to be a unique synchronized worldwide opening with a book releasing in March). The director of The Secret, Drew Heriot, presents...The Moses Code along with Musician, author and speaker James Twyman, who is the creator and purportedly the gifted "receiver" of The Moses Code. Twyman claims that he has been given "the key" to unlock "The Moses Code." He claims that The Moses Code is "...the most powerful manifestation tool in the history of the world."

Immediately I have to reject and challenge this claim. The most powerful tool or anything for that matter in mankinds history is the gospel- given to man by God himself. He went to great lengths to deliver this so that we can have a new life here on earth and have it continue throughout eternity.

In the video Twyman states “For the first time a major spiritual film is being combined with a worldwide prayer vigil”–on April 5 (drawing millions of people together on one day to watch the film in over 2000 venues) thousands will come to gather in small groups “to radiate this peace and use this technology focusing on the middle east, that’s what this movie is all about”

Visualize world peace may have been a bumper sticker but now they are moving ahead with a plan, using their powers of the soul to achieve it.

Some of the video can be found on youtube- but they are fast disappearing.

Lighthouse Trails research reported in their newsletter “In an interview with Moses Code author James Twyman, Twyman says that this process was originally called the Maharishi Effect which began with Transcendental Meditation practitioners

While trendy methods of spiritual empowerment are in, the population for the most part has rejected the truth and lives in a “relative reality,” another spiritual fad is on its way to rescue them- called the Moses Code.

“We stand at the edge of a critical precipice, one that may decide whether we continue on this planet or destroy ourselves. The fact that we have the power to destroy means that we possess equal power to create, and that's what The Moses Code is all about.

”So many people today are focused on using the law of attraction to manifest everything they desire, but they sometimes forget that to be truly successful this goal needs to originate in the soul, not the ego. The ego is constantly trying to 'get' while the soul seeks only to 'give'. By encouraging the ego to realize that it already possesses everything it needs, we can make manifestation automatic! Choose to refine your ego by participating in this enlightened event.

“Is it possible that nearly 3,500 years ago, Moses was given the secret for attracting everything you’ve ever desired? The Moses Code was first used to create some of the greatest miracles in the history of the world, but then it was hidden away, and only the highest initiates were allowed to practice it. In this book, James F. Twyman reveals the Code for the first time, showing how it can be used to create miracles in your life . . . and in the world. By practicing the principles presented within these pages, you’ll discover how you can integrate the most powerful manifestation tool in the history of the world into your own life.

cracking the Moses Code depends more on what you’re willing to “give” rather than “get.” That would mean that you have the power to create miracles in your life right now! It would also mean that you have the ability, even the responsibility, to use that power for more than just attracting money, a better car, or the perfect relationship. You’re here to use the power of Divinity itself to create a world based on the laws of compassion and peace.”
Talk about a set up for a false Messiah to appear who will do miracles that will astound those who already chase after them. Unity church is a big promoter of this.

The teachers of the New Spirituality teachers in The Moses Code teach about the power of declaring themselves with Gods name, with this they believe the “Shift” in consciousness is on its way. The trailer tells us ‘Its called the next stage in our evolution there’s something in all of us that we must express” what is that something we learn is the I am.

Twyman’s website is called, “Emissary of Light,” yes, the light of 2 Cor. 11:13-14 not the true light through Jesus Christ who is God. His song comes on- “Be The Change” from his latest CD, Peacemakers VOL 1. God Has No Religion.

As one reads what is influencing him it becomes clear --On his website he offers a number of New age type courses, here are a few examples:

THE MYSTIC'S SECRET:

RECLAIMING YOUR INDIGO POWER COURSE:

THE THOMAS MESSAGES:

“In 2002, a book was published called "Emissary of Love: the Psychic Speak to the World" chronicling my journey into the mountains of Bulgaria to meet a group of who possess amazing psychic powers. One of those , a young boy named Thomas, claimed to be able to send messages and insights over great distances, even to the other side of the world. I didn't remember this until I was sitting in a hot tub some months later and "felt him" inside me”

BELOVED COMMUNITY COURSE:

“In 1999 James Twyman had an experience on a hill in Medjugorje, Bosnia with a young woman named Maria, who he later came to believe was a physical manifestation of the Blessed Mother. (For more information on this experience you can read the book “The Secret of the Beloved Disciple.”

James learned of an ancient first century group then referred to as “The Community of the Beloved Disciple,” which later became known as the “Emissaries of Light,” the group he met in the mountains of Croatia in 1995. James took the information he learned from these sources and designed the Beloved Lessons to help people access the “Power of Light” already present within them. He draws upon much of the information he learned from the Emissaries, as well as the wisdom he heard from Maria in Medjugorje, and wrote this eighteen week Internet based course.”

The Emissary of Light website is linked to- The Beloved world which has been created by founders Nikita Gearing and John ‘Cornflower’ Coughenour with the intention of creating a pathway for our world to access the many gifts and wisdom being shared through the Peace Ministers of the Beloved Community.”

James Twyman is the president of The Beloved Community, an inter-religious organization that has ordained over 350 ministers of peace around the world and the founder of The Seminary of Spiritual Peacemaking. Beloved World, a web site created to offer our world a doorway to the many Peace Ministers and Peace Makers of the Beloved Community. Those who are dedicating their lives to assisting personal and global transformation and Peace.”

“Our world is in a powerful time of change. He tells us these ministers are there “offering their skills and gifts to assist in this time of cultural and human evolution.”

We read, “Beloved World is based on the belief that a world based on Peace and Divine connection is not only possible, but is our birth right and humanity's destiny.

It is our belief that this shift begins with the Self, when each of us in our lives chooses to respond from a place of Peace, non-violence and creating solutions that serve the whole.

Twyman's Beloved World has been set up to assist and accelerate the shift within Human Consciousness from fear and judgment to Love, Human Unity and Honoring all Life.”

The Moses Code Movie is presented as The Most Powerful Manifestation Tool in the History of the World. If that’s true then we will not need to see a sequel as we did to the Secret. But there is always a new and improved version for the masses shopping for the next level in their spiritual journey.

They state “Some of the most incredible miracles in history came from applying a simple code, activating the power of the creative force of God in the world. This ancient technology has largely been lost or ignored since then, only to be revealed once again through this movie and book”

“The Moses Code is a powerful film bringing together some of the best-known spiritual leaders of our time to discuss the importance of service as a spiritual practice.

The Moses Code movie explains its focus “on the power of "Soul Manifestation," drawing upon your own innate spiritual connection to produce miracles everywhere you go. Many other films and books have focused on using the Law of Attraction to "get" the things we believe we need, eg. houses, cars or other goods. The Moses Code takes the next much more important step-how do we use this law to "give" from our soul, automatically attracting spiritual blessings into our lives.

“The Moses Code features dynamic spiritual teachers and bestselling authors who share their wisdom and insights about the true meaning of abundance. Speakers include Cheryl Richardson (Stand Up for Your Life), Iyanla Vanzant (One Day My Heart Just Opened Up), Sonia Choquette (Your Heart’s Desire), Gregg Braden (The God Code), Neale Donald Walsch (Conversations with God), James Van Praagh (The Ghost Whisperer), and Debbie Ford (Dark Side of the Light Chasers)”

Not surprising that those who were in the Secret or believe in it are also in this movie. The other featured speakers are- John Holland, Cheryl Richardson, Dr. Joe Dispenza, Diana Cooper, Robert Ohotto, Gregg Braden, Harville Hendricks, Les Brown, Anakha Coman, Mikki Willis, Rev. Mary Manin Morrissey and Dr. Michael Beckwith.

In the video trailer the actors in the movie give a presentation that appears well meaning, very inviting and harmless. We can change the world- emphasis is “CHANGE,” sound familiar?

According to Twyman and friends God gave Moses a code to change the world and to give us “everything our soul desires.”

The trailer has symbols of other religions and occult nature that are subliminally set throughout the video. On the screen we read: Code: A system of letters numbers or symbols that communicate information when converted into normal language.

Neale Donald Walsh who is a known promoter of the transformation (shift) talks about advance students (the power of the mind magnetize things to us) which is another word for those initiated into the occult worldview.

We already know what Walsch is about. He has said if we take these “Five Steps to Peace, you can shift everything on our planet.” “The soul is very clear that its purpose is evolution. That is its sole purpose..” (Conversations with God, Book 1 p.82.) “The highest feeling is the experience of unity with All That Is. This is the great return to Truth for which the soul yearns” (ibid. p.83) Thoughts are like magnets, drawing effects to you” (ibid p.18 God is the energy you call imagination. (ibid. 19 God is the energy you call imagination. God is creation. God is first thought. And God is last experience. And God is everything in between” (ibid. p. 198.)

What is presented on the video is more about giving Twyman says “The soul is only satisfied by giving” yet Walsch actually wrote the opposite “You must always put yourselves first! . . . .. (Conversations with God, Book 1 p.9 Walsch also says “You are already a God. You simply do not know it” “Trust God. Or if you wish, trust yourself, for Thou Art God" (Neale Donald Walsch, Conversations with God: an uncommon Dialogue, Book 3, p.202, p.350)

On the video trailer we have the others explaining its focus-Cheryl Richardson tells us “using the law of attraction you get what you want is absolutely fine, its just the first step,… its not just about me its about me and you , its about me and everyone”

This is what we told people who were getting involved in the “Secret,” one thing leads to another and it ends up with spiritual communism.

John Holland tells us about people who get the cars, the money and the things they want- people get that and more power to them but they still say to themselves I still feel empty- what’s missing- you forgot about the soul.”

Dr. Joe Dispenza speaks about the souls journey is “to learn and experience all that life has to offer when we get past the small things the only thing the soul wants to do is make a difference to give to humanity ( this is new age christ- Maitreyas message).

Debbie Ford- If I am raised that the world is not out there but within me then I will care for myself, …like I am the world and will treat myself in this loving and kind way, I will want to serve my greater whole not just a piece of me the whole of me and then I can go out, its my blessing to be of service.”

Andrew Harvey- “If they are manifesting only from the ego they are actually increasing their poverty even if what they manifest is a mansion or a swimming pool, a Mercedes all of those are the signs of the poverty of addiction, they have nothing to do with the life of the soul”

I guess this can be accurately called soul power- the secular definition of the soul is 1: the immaterial essence, animating principle, or actuating cause of an individual life 2 a: the spiritual principle embodied in human beings, all rational and spiritual beings, or the universe 3: a person's total self (Merriam-Webster Dictionary). The Bible defines the soul as ones personality, it is the same as the ego, the self. It is what makes us an individual.

Gregg Branden- “so when we offer the prayers, or the thoughts, the feelings and emotions for the peace of a loved one halfway round the world or between nations, we are experiencing that peace and that healing as well”

They have a very different view of prayer; it is not the same as thoughts of good will, but petitioning God who decides what will take place. And we do not get what we are praying for someone else.

Unlock the energy of the most powerful manifestation process in the history of the world through the information and exercises contained in James Twyman's latest book -- The Moses Code. This book explores a conversation that took place 3500 years ago when Moses stood in front of a burning bush and asked for God's name. Moses then harnessed the power found in the name of God to help secure the freedom of the Israelite slaves, but then it was locked away, never to be used again. Until now.

James Twyman tells us "the key" to "unlocking" the long lost "Moses "Code" we need to comprehend what was really communicated to Moses "for the first time in 3,500 years" - "insert a comma" into the divine Name of God and see "miracles manifest". After all these centuries the name of God was lost, abandoned pushed aside or forbidden to be spoken upon punishment of death. We lost the true pronunciation. We who live in the 21st century can say God's Name ‒ “I AM THAT, I AM,” Twyman claims that in utilizing this "methodology" one can "manifest divine miracles" - we can have whatever we desire. There is a way of speaking this name that actually unlocks the creative power that allows us to harness that creative power and create miracles in out lives” “ There is power and energy in this name”

He claims he did a chant with Moses code to get his book the Art of Spiritual Peace Making to be a best seller on the day of its release. This is using God’s name in vain for our own pursuits.

“The Moses code unleashes a new type of power one that creates worlds (instead of destroys them) and helps fulfill our individual and collectable destiny! Wow, who cannot be enticed by this salesmanship.

“The name I am is to be said to 're-educate our souls'. 'I Am one with God'. This is straight out of a “Course of miracles” This is also like the I am movement of the Ballard’s in the Saint Germaine society or Elizabeth Claire Prophets teaching and other Occult groups. We should remember that Jim Jones and Marshall and Applewhite and other cultists believed similar things.

They speak of the material world as if it is an illusion, not to worry we are really here.

It’s obvious that these men who think they have a revelation but can’t stand Jesus who is the truth, so they go back further in history to Moses. Yet Moses spoke of Jesus and told the people to listen to him, for their very lives depend on it.

“That Moses lifted up the entire nation to see who and what they really were and whose they really were.’ “Moses said the name to activate the source of power within him” that he chanted it. The trailer suggest we say to ourselves, "I am the way, the truth and the life," viewers are instructed to say to themselves I AM statements to help affirm their own divinity and power.

Maybe these people need to learn to read because this is hardly how the story is told by Moses, none of this can be found in the bible. They are using portions of the story and making up a whole new story from it- this is called a fable, a work of their own imagination. The Moses Code distorts the Name revealed to Moses, The Moses code is given when Moses asked who shall I say sent me.

Exodus 3:13-15: And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the of Israel, the LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations”

This is My name forever-,It is God alone who is I AM that I AM (eyeh asher eyeh- there are no commas) which means the eternal self- existing, self- sufficient one, He is the cause of all things. In the Occult New age view the Tetragrammaton is supposed to have special powers when the user knows its secret. This is Kaballah, pure occult nonsense.

are like their father who “Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name (Revelation 13:6).

2 Peter 2:2-3 tells us of false teachers- “And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words”

Want the world- we have the secret on how to get anything you want. As Satan offered Jesus the kingdoms of the world, they are his to give

1 Peter 4:14-15 “If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified’

This Scripture hits the nail on the head 2 Timothy 3:1-2, 5: “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, -- boasters, proud, blasphemers …, having a form of godliness but denying its power” (that is its true power for living a life pleasing to God).

Solomon said, "there's nothing new under the sun,” this is especially true when it comes to deception and the same lie that worked with the first married couple works on untold thousands today.

Mystery Babylon will Babble on… until- Daniel 8:23-25: “And in the latter time of their kingdom, When the transgressors have reached their fullness, A king shall arise, Having fierce features, Who understands sinister schemes (dark sentences). His power shall be mighty, but not by his own power; He shall destroy fearfully, And shall prosper and thrive; He shall destroy the mighty, and also the holy people. "Through his cunning He shall cause deceit to prosper under his rule; And he shall exalt himself in his heart. He shall destroy many in their prosperity.

He shall even rise against the Prince of princes; But he shall be broken without human means.” As the prophet Daniel looked into the future he saw the very things that are prototypes today. It should make one shudder to think that the world is headed into an era not of enlightenment, but a false spirituality that will deceive the nations. It is Christ Jesus who comes and breaks this false kingdom led by the one who wants to be God and the world that believes they are little gods. For the people of the world they must choose whom they will serve.

Relativism

Objective Relativism is the view that the beliefs of a person or group of persons are “true” for them, but not necessarily for others.

Religious Relativism maintains that one religion can be true for one person or culture but not for another. No religion, therefore, is universally or exclusively true. Religious beliefs are simply an accident of birth:

Moral Relativism maintains that there are no moral absolutes, no objective ethical right and wrong. Moral values are true or “genuine” for some, but not for others.

Cultural Relativism says that what is immoral in our culture is not necessarily immoral in another culture. No one, therefore, can judge another culture’s moral values

Unfortunately Absolutes exist and wreck havock on Relativism

Does Jesus’ command in Mt. 25 mean we are to take care for the world?

Matthew 25:31-46: "When the of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, 'Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.' 37 "Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?' 40 "And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.'

Many have this as their theme and a requirement for a social gospel, they have changed the text to a general principle that is applied to everyone. Jesus’ principle of We are to do unto others as we would have them do unto us is to be our lifestyle but in this rebuke it is more specific. Christians are to help in various ways but this is not our specific mission to solve poverty or disease. Of course, if people are starving they cannot listen to a spiritual message about their soul too well. We should be there for catastrophes such as earthquakes and floods... What of the poverty in the church, are we to feed the world and not the brethren? Isn’t this what Jesus said to do in Mt.25. Unfortunately Mt. 25 is often used for a general humanitarian effort of the church.

Notice the point- least of my BRETHREN ‒ primarily the Jews are Jesus brethren and so are believers and this rebuke is mostly centered in the tribulation period.

Jesus sees this as being against him by not doing these things to his brethren- feed and clothed Christ is used just as Jesus said to Paul in Acts 9 that he persecuted him by going against his church and arresting and killing his people.

Its general wider application it means - taking care of the brethren means to care for Christians that are homeless or in jail; (inasmuch as you did it to the least of the My brethren, you did it to me), in its primary meaning it has to do with the Jews and believers in the tribulation. This cannot be applied to the nations and people who are unsaved by the context and the meaning of the word brethren and the personal application of “I,” “me” and “you did it to Me.”

Along with the literal application of their actions their would be of necessity be a spiritual one. They gave food- this is not just physical food but food for eternal life- the word. They gave them water for their thirst- again it is not just physical food but the water of life.

The gospel is to the Jew first. When you see organizations claiming to help the Jews back into Israel and they purposely do not give them the gospel they are guilty of this negligence and will be judged accordingly

Are Christians supposed to Rebuke Satan?

We see the Scripture that even Jesus himself did not rebuke Satan (Mt.4:1-11). It may be fashionable to learn all the ways one can rebuke him through spiritual warfare seminars but the Bible says nothing about this. Jesus answered the Devils temptations by quoting Scripture correctly against the Devils out of context quotations to him.

It is not necessary for us to rebuke Satan for a number of reasons. First Satan is a specific fallen angel he cannot be in all places at once , not even two places at once. He is not the one who personally causes every persons temptations or trouble or sicknesses, many times it is our own flesh. Satan does have a kingdom and many other fallen spirits serve alongside him to deceive and tempt man, they are called demons. They harass believers, yet we are told greater is he who is in us than he who in the world.

We cannot rebuke Satan anymore than we can bind Satan. If Satan is being "bound" by people say words out loud, their "binding" certainly does not last very long. God has given us His way to withstand the evil from his word, it is called the armor of go (Eph.6) . It is by resisting the Devil we do this by having the full armor of God, which is knowing the Scripture (Eph.6) it is all about Christ. James 5 tells us to submit to God, resist in the Holy Spirit and the devil will flee. Whatever we might be disobedient in, we are to correct ourselves, this is submit ting to God, resist any temptations, and the enemy will no longer have a foothold in our lives, no chink in our armor.

2 Cor.10:3-5 tells us that we do not fight with human weapons, plans or methods. “Our weapons are not carnal (of flesh) but mighty in God for the pulling down of strongholds, casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God”. Prayer and the word is our weapon when used correctly to what opposes the truth of Christ and the word. False ideologies and philosophies take people captive and do the same to us. In other words untruth, false patterns of thinking, vain imaginations that capture people.

We resist and the Lord promises us that the Devil will flee. Why? Because he sees he cannot penetrate our protection, even our greatest weakness cannot be used against us if we submit to God.
