Scott's first film was RKO's Tarzan's Hidden Jungle (1955), which also starred Vera Miles. During the making of the film, Miles and Scott began a romance and married in 1954, before the release of the film. Proving to be a successful and popular Tarzan, Scott helped breathe new life into the series. For his second outing, Scott made the first color Tarzan film, Tarzan and the Lost Safari, released in 1957 by MGM

Scott was a big hit with the Masai tribe; a Masai warrior gave him the nickname "Mtu Ule Na Panda Miti Minegu," meaning warrior who climbs tall trees. Unfortunately, Scott wasn't so popular with a lion on the set of the film, back in California---the big cat ripped a large hole in his leg during rehearsal. Betta St. John, who portrays Diana, is also among the cast of Tarzan the Magnificent (1960), Scott's final Tarzan film

You ladies decide...

Born in Tennessee in June 1954, handsome 6' 3" Miles O'Keeffe played football at Mississippi State, but after an injury he was forced to hang up his helmut.

Eventually, he earned a degree in psychology and worked as a counselor. In the late 1970s, O'Keeffe headed for California and took a few bit parts in films. His big break in 1981 came when he was cast as Tarzan in the film Tarzan, the Ape Man.

Native Texan Ron Ely was born Ronald Pierce in 1938. In The mid 1950s, he enrolled at the University of Texas, but he soon made his way to California. After signing with 20th Century Fox in the late 1950s.

Ely appeared in small roles in several films and television shows, including the films South Pacific and The Remarkable Mr. Pennypacker and the TV series How to Marry a Millionaire (1957-1959; with Merry Anders, Barbara Eden, and Lori Nelson). And in 1960 Ely was cast in the CBS series The Aquanauts, but the show was cancelled after just one season. Several more films followed, but his big break didn't come until 1966, when the 6'4" actor was cast in the role of Tarzan for the TV series of the same name.

Ely had tried out for the role of Tarzan after Jock Mahoney abandoned the role in 1963, but he lost out to football player-turned-actor Mike Henry. Henry made three Tarzan films and was originally cast for the series, but he declined it after some bad experiences while shooting his first Tarzan film. Ely was then cast in the role.

After a number of attempts to create a Tarzan TV series had failed, producer Sy Weintraub finally was able to bring Tarzan to the small screen in 1966. Tarzan aired on NBC beginning in September 1966 and lasted until September 1968, with each episode running at about 47 minutes. In the series, there is no Jane in sight; Tarzan is assisted only by Cheetah and Jai (Manuel Padilla Jr.), an orphan.

In the past few years, Ely has cooled his acting career, focusing instead on writing mystery novels focusing on the character, Jake Sands. His novels are titled Night Shadows and East Beach, both published in the mid 1990s. But on occasion, Ely makes appearances on popular TV shows, his most recent being Sheena and Renegade.

The Place Hopes Come To Die

I am really trying to recall many people at BC that was a high volume poster/blogger that their their mate here. For every Kiadan and Forry and Bill and CHarie; There are so many broken hearts a long the way.

There are few men here in my opinion that are ready to be partners with one of the ladies. The ones that really are, I think go unoticed. I have never been here to look for someone. But I have enjoyed some of the friends I have made.

On one side we have men that hide who they are and afraid to let both sides of them be known to people. Everyone has two sides. But we put forth a "religious" side. I am not into that. I have been there and done that when for 20 plus years of church going. The last 10 plus I couildnt do that anymore. If I am fed up, you will know it.

Well, yes I am a better person when I am around the Person that I love. That is probably true for most people. I am a person of black and white. Not too blurred.

But so many times I see people that are aghast that people do not just accept them for who they are. Usually that is pertaing to physical appearance. Very few of us put forth the effort to be our very best after we have hit our 40's.

However for some reason we expect more in return than we have to offer. For women, its all about relationships. For men, its all about creating a situation for intimacy. In the Christian realm that should be about marriage.

But here we have this big melting pot at BC where I have had many valued friends have disasters and be left hurting and throbing.I have seen many just come to the conclusion that its just better to use this place for friendships.

In the case of most long distance relationships I have to say that is wise.It hurts inside to see the people feel broken. It hurts to see friends needlessly stalked. But it happens here.

Most new ladies come here wide eyed because this is a "Christian" site and you should be able to trust fellow "Christian" right? People are people. Character means everything.

I do not see too many ladies here that fall into the catagory of "player". But I do see many men who are plastic here. Not saying everyone by any means. But I remeber one who is no longer here, Da***. I do not know how many women he went through, but it was a mess. Much of this all after he said "God" had told him he was meant to be alone.

There is one here like him right now. Pandering and all. I see people are once again being fooled. Its' always going to be like this. Because people want to believe in something.
