first, let me say that YES, i believe that god, jesus and the friendly ghost are one. i would have a hard time understanding most of the bible if i did not believe this.
HOWEVER, the bibe NEVER tells us of the trinity let alone requires it.
the ONLY thing we require is jesus....and even that is arguable.
the bible says that christ died for all men?
the rest is just window dressing.

i made a HUGE deal out of the post office mess i posted about last week. i wrote to EVERY emal address that i could find even remotely related to the PO and included the conversation i posted here. i also complained about all the crazy goings on at the PO.
i got my package personally hand delivered by the manager of the PO this morning. nana na boo boo, bloo hair.

I moved here (little mexico) from a much more affluent neighborhood. The PO people there were polite, able and i never had any problems at all with my mail. i do a lot of ebaying and i ship a lot of free bibles and i need the USPS to do thier job.
The people at this new PO are mean and nasty and when i complain i have had the police called on me. There are always long lines and they can never find anything. I do a lot on Ebay and I have to go there at least a few times every month and i always dread it. Sometimes i have to go a few times a week and it is murder.
Around Christmas, they were holding 5 packages hostage at the station for a month. I finally got Federal Postal Inspectors to help me and he went and retrieved these packages in January. 4 of the 5 were supposed to be Christmas presents. these postal inspectors had initially come to investigate ME about the PO's complaints.
this email conversation is regarding a package that the PO has been sitting on since 4/21. i never receieved notice that they had it. i had contacted the sender (it is something i bought on ebay), and they are the first ones to tell me that the PO has it. i had been to the PO several times in between and nobody notified me that it was there. believe me, they KNOW who i am and where i live by sight.

the carrier on the route of day first attempt was made stated she left a notice in your slot. She also stated your mail slot is very low to the ground where she inserted the notice.

i went to retrieve this package on 5/13 and they told me it was "out for delivery." i still don't have it.

i was wondering what the going price for this site is. i was thinking that it can't be that much, if they just break it off of the friend finder bandwagon and sell it separately.
i was thinking what if WE buy it? a handful of responsible members here would likely have MORE than enough money. we could also handle the day to day tasks necessary to keep it going.
am i crazy? ok ok, yes, i am crazy. BUTT, this could work?

ok. i did it. fairly neatly and intellgently. with no injuries. it wasn't as hard as i thought it would be either. the ladder was really easy too.
i am officially easily up on my garage roof. it was 70s today and it was like the beach up there. i put out a little 9 x 8 piece of artificial turf and just laid out for an hour or so.
i will start work on the greenhouse next week.

basement remodel

the basement apartment is mostly done.i just have a few minor carpentry type adjustments to tie everything together. it really came out being a lot more modern than i meant it to be.
i was trying to leave things more open and airy than not, so that it feels like my own basement when i am there rather than an apartment. i think i accomplished this, i have been spending the last few evenings putzing around down there with the TV on.
all in all, i am very pleased with how it came out. i have a guest room with 2 bunks in it upstairs too. there is a seperate bedroom in the basement here that i didn't take a picture of. it is kind of behind the washroom.

i am desperately trying to get on my roof, it is my only yard. i have a hatch with a ladder, but it is too hard to get through carrying anything. it is a pain to go back and forth at all.
so i have decided to just put a stairway up to the garage roof, which is a little lower than the rest of the house. i bought the lumber today and put the two 2x6 stair runners in place. i think it will work.
i have drawn in the stairs and where i have to cut out the ceiling. i am going to build a little 8 x 6 greenhouse out of old windows to cover the gaping hole.
so far, so good

i got my sunflower heliostat in the mail the other day. i have been putting it together. very slowly.
