There is something I am hoping for in my life right now, and it got me to thinking about all the times God has never let me down even when it looked like things were headed the complete and total opposite direction of what I was hoping for.

Somehow the course God led me down that seemed totally opposite to leading to my answered prayer always ended up taking me to my destination, and with ultimately much more glory than the path I dreamed up that should have taken me to the answer.

Remembering a time once when God surprised me by answering one of my prayers in a completely unimaginable and absolutely unexpected way - then told me plainly, "Just remember, Anita, the way I do things will never be the way you expect them."

This kinda reminds me of Abraham, who was counted as righteous because hoping against hope and even when it looked as if it were totally impossible, he believed God.

Lord, I believe You, I know Your ways are higher than mine. Please allow me to follow in obedience even when it seems as if the path to which You are directing me looks like it is heading a completely another direction than where I imagine I should go. Where ever You lead me, the result will be more glorious than if I try to find a way on my own. I praise You and thank You Father God for holding my hand and making the crooked ways straight and the path level ground not only for my safety but for the display of Your awesome Power. In Jesus name AMEN

Demonstrations and Declarations

ROMANS 5:8 God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet still sinners, Christ died for us.

God gave a demonstration proving He loves all men when Jesus died a cruel death on a cross for the sins of all mankind.

Jesus showed that He loves each one of us more than He loves Himself. Jesus gave His life to redeem the world. What more could He do?

Many people have a distorted view of God. The true picture of God's nature is that He loves all the people of the world so much, He was willing to suffer unto death for everyone's freedom.

There are passages in 2 Corinthians 5 that says that He died for all, and we should no longer live to our own way of thinking , but even to live as Him Who died for us all, and rose again.

We should no longer see men according to the flesh
[Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for we are all one in Christ Jesus]

Therefore if a man lives in Christ, he has become a new creation; the old ways of thinking have been put aside, and our ways of seeing things becomes totally new.

Those same scriptures also say:

All things are of God, He has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given to us the ministry of declaring to the world this reconciliation.

God was in Christ, reconciling this world back unto Himself, not imputing our trespasses against us and He has committed us to share this word of reconciliation with all men.

The main attack on the character and earthly mission of Christ was from the seemingly most religious people.

Outwardly they were seemingly defenders of the faith, but they headed up the opposition that lead to the murder of Christ.

Though righteousness was their keynote, the honor of God was thier theme and law, they saw Jesus as an imposter because he arose from the ranks of the poor, was a homeless wanderer and chose to welcome indiscriminately the riff raff of society to follow him.

Here we see the distinct Pharasaic sin in action, the sin of scorn; the sin of a superior person full of pride and eaten up by their own self righteousness of goodness and grace unable to even recognize God when He came to them because of their own narrow conceiving and ideas of what God should be.

Another thing that they promoted was strict adherance to the observance of all of the law, which Jesus tried to show them a new truth that the law was not the be all and end all of faith and righteousness and was branded a heretic.

The death of Jesus was caused by the sin of the closed minds of those who proclaimed to love God.

The third thing that caused them to indict Jesus was His UNIVERSALISM.

The Pharisees viewed men as falling into two groups, the ones who were chosen and then all the rest "gentiles" and there was an unbreakable barrier between them.

The very name Pharisee means SEPERATED.

Jesus declared that all men are created in the image of God and He is everywhere and FOR EVERYONE.

He showed that despised people are no less of God than men born and bred into the faith.

With His words and His life He drew a picture of a day when all the roads of the world would be filled with marching hosts of people from every nation, tongue and tribe and all peoples under heaven would stream into the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus mission was to redeem the world and in so doing He was hailed an imposter, charged as a common criminal and cruelly murdered.

His death accomplished all that needed to be accomplished in the divine mercy and love of God to cover every sin and every trangression which has ever occured on this planet.

Jesus didn't fail, it is finished, the ax has been taken to the root of the tree which grew branches that darkened the view of the true glory of heaven and the light is now overcoming every darkness, including the lie that our Messiah is an exclusive Savior for only a select few.

It IS finished, life conquered death, Jesus Christ has won.

Restoration and Heresy

Acts 3:21:
Whom the heaven must receive until the times of the restoration of all things

These are the very same words which God has spoken - this doctrine that some people call a "heresy" was spoken of by GOD HIMSELF, and by the mouth of all his Holy Prophets since the world began.

I just don't understand why anyone would call the declarations of God Almighty "heresy."

The Fatherhood of God

The element of Jesus' teaching was that God is the Father of the fatherless and He made this the center of everything.

He showed us that God to us is more than merely a potter and His clay or a Creator and His subjects.

Since God is a Father He is vitally interested in all His 's concerns, no if, ands or buts about it.

Since God is our Father, He equally knows and loves each individual soul.
This is scriptural..., Matt. 10:30; John 3:16; Luke 15:10; and Luke 15:4-7.

As a Father, how can God not forgive?

Since God is our Father pain has a meaning to Him.

As a Father, when anything hurts us it hurts Him.

He sent His only to suffer in order to remedy the issue of the sins of mankind.

Men tend to believe that pain, suffering and trials were a sign of an angry God's condemnation, but it is only God's election of a soul for a higher purpose.

Since God is a Father, all men are brothers.

No man has a right to use Jesus' words "Our Father" in sincerity who is not prepared to treat all men everywhere as members of the same family as himself.

Jesus brought to us the conviction of the Divine Fatherhood, brought us a Royal Law of Love in which we should all be able to say of any other "that person is a of God, just like me, God is his Father."

Jesus gave us the revelation of God as Father and the hope of a unified creation once and for all.

By His teaching and His life Jesus showed that to know that God is in control of everything we can pass from bondage of fear into a liberty and release.

He reached out to the most forsaken individuals.

He brought the remedy for every sin; the coming of Christ was our Father's plan for the mending of a "broken" earth and a "shattered" family.

The teachings and life of Christ exemplified an inclusive faith to which all people are welcomed into one family with God as our Father and the glorious reality of God's unconditional love and forgiveness towards all men.
