People always wonder why I am smiling and what I have to be so happy about.
I do genuinely have a joy that few can understand; even don't like sometimes because I refuse to let it go.
I tell them what it is:
The joy of the Lord; the world don't give it to you, the world cannot take it away.

If they could've only seen me from the time I was six until about 20 years ago when in sorrow for even living, I prayed each day for death and when that would not come, I prayed for my joy.
God sure does answer prayer.

1 Peter 3:15 tells us we should always be prepared to respond to any one who calls you to account for the hope that is in you.

The joy of the Lord and the untold wealth of His gracious mercy is my strength and hope, it is the reason I smile, it is the reason I live and have my being.

This morning I awoke wondering about what to blog and I found an awesome book I have on popular quotations.

I thought they were compelling and that I would share them with you.

There is no sinner like a young saint..., Aphra Behn

Sin makes its own hell, and goodness its own heaven..., Mary Baker Eddy

That which we call sin in others is merely experiment for us..., Ralph Waldo Emerson

All that defiles comes from within..., Menander

For the wages of sin is death..., Romans 6:23

Fools make a mock at sin..., Proverbs 14:9

He who does not forbid sin when he can, encourages it..., Seneca

If we desire to judge all things justly, we must first persuade ourselves that none of us is without sin..., Seneca

Few love to hear the sins they love to act..., William Shakespeare

There is no sin except stupidity..., Oscar Wilde

More men abstain from forbidden actions because they are ashamed of sinning, than because their inclinations are good..., Seneca

There seems to have been a very good response to my dancing with God blog, my God's Universe blog, and my other blogs that tell of some amazing experiences with God that I thought I would share with you another one that I treasure.

One day years ago I was moving furniture around the living room and also rearranging my kitchen.
To give you and idea of how long ago it was, the microwave ovens were still dinasaurs and were as big as I am.
While rearranging the living room I realized that the couch was much too heavy for me to move alone.
I asked God to help me move it, and so He did, it became light as a feather.
I continued moving things and taking down the curtains for washing and such.
After rearranging the living room, and doing the deep cleaning it required, I began to get a bit tired.
But, I wasn't finished and decided to keep going until my work was done.
So, I was in the kitchen, got the table and chairs moved to the other side of the dining area the way I wanted.
Then, I decided that I wanted to move the microwave off of the counter onto this new table I had and placed on the opposite end of the dining area, clear across the room.
Well, I remembered how easily God had helped move the couch and so I asked Him again to help me move the microwave.
There was no way at that time in my life at only 100 pounds that I could even attempt to lift it alone and move it all the way across that big room.
So, God helped me again.
So light and easy it was to pick up and move and when I placed it on the table in its new resting place I said, "Thank You, God. I appreciate that."
Then it happened. The dust finally got to me and I let out a big whopping sneeze.
Clear out of nowhere I heard God say it, "Bless you."
"What?" I was shocked and surprised
"GoD, cAn YoU dO tHaT? Can you say 'Bless you?'"
I said utterly amazed.
"Of course I can," He said, "I am God, I can do anything."
Well, I know this may seem trivial and silly, but to me that was incredible.
I always heard us say bless you when others sneeze, but it never occured to me that God would say bless you too.
God is so cool.
I just love it when He surprises me with expressions of His love even in the simplest ways like telling me, "Bless you," that time when I sneezed.

PRAISE REPORT

Okay, so only a few people got to hear me whine about how discouraged I was not to be able to move forward in the Sign of Jonah call because my books I shipped from America in October still haven't arrived here in England.
I know God's timing is perfect, but I was so trying to jump forward run on up ahead and keep my momentum. If it is due next week, it was done yesterday. I'm an on time kind of a gal.
PRAISE REPORT
After deciding yesterday to just go forward even if it meant replacing my books and research materials (which only the most critical books were ALL that I kept when I left it all behind to come where God sent me) I started downloading files of the work I had done already and emailed to myself before I left Houston, determined to start putting it all back together again and keep going forward in faith that if God led me to it, He would see me through it.
Hip Hip Horray! The first of two boxes of books and materials has arrived. Now I find renewed joy, strength and excitement to move forward.
See, God sent me here, partnered me with Chris to fulfill the call and so it was so very important to God that we are bonded and united to serve the call to which we were brought together.
Chris did point out to me that the time we have spent together getting to know and trust one another and be certain we are of one accord and evenly yoked in every possible way was invaluable and what with my determination to get the job done I may well have dived straight into completing the research to back up the revelation, turned my sight entirely on my work and not been able to bond and share with him the way we have.
Ya'll thanks a lot for your support and encouragement through my transition. Please pray for us and this work and that God's will be done through it.
It may not seem like much right now, but it is enormous and someday soon I hope to share it with everyone who is interested.
Already a number of leading institutions have been interested in seeing my work as it explains and brings to light much more than experts and Biblical scholars have ever known about the completeness of this prophecy. (Matt. 12:39-42; Luke 11)
God Bless You in Abundance for your prayers and support.

We Receive Grace From God By Faith

ROMANS 5:1-2 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

All we receive from God is entirely by His grace. None of us deserve it, and we are not even able to earn it. It is a free gift offered by His grace, if it were by works it would no longer be a gift.

I am convinced that nothing on earth is lasting except the grace of God by which we are all able to stand firm, in Jesus. I am sure that all of the things of this whole world will someday pass away, except for the gift of God's grace by which we have all been saved.

Nothing can seperate us from God's love.
Romans 8:35-39

Hebrews 4:16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

My Shea, the intellectual socialite, the prim and proper, likes to wear pink, all girl and always politically correct - nothing like her southern fried momma; do you always have to talk about Jesus, momma, Shea. LOL

I have been sitting here in England missing my wonderful and remembering some of the fun times we had together.
This one event came to mind and I thought I would share it with you.

It was a typical day, I was excited about the return of Christ and so I just stayed in the spirit getting worked up knowing every day brings me one day closer to His return.
I was bumming around in an old tee shirt with some cut off shorts, my hair strung up sloppy in a pony tail, with my flip flops on, no makeup, who cares, it's my day off sporting my redneck casuals and raggedy river clothes, but to say the least I was comfortable.
I had been just getting excited about the return of Christ, for the millionth time, she was soooo over it, and I had to go and tell her how excited I was again.
I just know Jesus is coming soon, I can feel it, I just know it, in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if He just showed up right now and took me off the face of the earth, oh what a glorious day when Jesus comes and raptures us, honey any minute He could come...,
She cuts me off, tired of hearing me say that like I was a little waiting for Christmas and says quite to the point, as she looked me up and down, Okay, momma, Jesus could be here any minute and take us all to heaven, and so that's what you're gonna wear? LOL

I miss my , (((sigh)))

For all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God...,

If we are counting on how good we are or how much we know to make it into heaven I don't think any of us are going to make it.

Thank You Father for your free gift of Jesus that you mercifully gave to us for our redemption.

So, I made burritos, tacos, refried beans with cheese and spanish rice.
Chris seems to have liked it okay, I am not sure.
He does enjoy my Southern cooking, and Italian, it was a big risk with the Mexican dinner, I know, because it involves more spices and a different style than he is used to.
He grew up on farm food.
Well, I guess I will know soon what the verdict is real soon.
Honey, I have to give you credit for trying new things..., I love you, don't you forget that, okay?

Roly Poly

So, I have my KSBJ radio on (God Listens), singing Dancing With My Father God, praising the Lord and getting myself in the mood to do my very favorite thing, mopping - NOT
LOL
So, I was moving some stuff around in the washroom to get the floor ready to mop and what do I see? A roly poly. How cute, I haven't seen a roly poly in a very long time.
Guess what, Brittish roly polys look different too. They have less rounded armour that is longer from side to side and not as wide, they have dots of a light brown color at each end of each plate, awwww how cute.
Isn't it so cool when I look at a roly poly the creative genious God used to make all the different things around us, even the simple stuff like a little roly poly.
Thank you God for making different varieties of each little thing you dreamed up. Every single one is the finest and most perfect example of what You created it to be.
Please don't let that little roly poly have a complex or be blind because I scanned it, in Jesus name AMEN
