What is happening?

It is with much disappointment and frustration that I write this entry. Let me explain...
I was on Big Church some time ago and people seemed a lot more responsive with regards to emails. Of course, it would not be fair to expect a reply from every email but since rejoining Big Church the response rate has been extremely disappointing and that's putting it mildly.
Could it be that the site has changed and people can't respond? ie standard memebers don't know who we are or can't see our profiles (which I think is absolutely woeful)?
Is it that BC is losing our emails (I will probably get this post deleted for a comment like that)?
Or is it that people have just become rude and don't bother responding?
I would love to hear everyones thoughts and experiences on this.
Mind you there is one exception to the non-response rule (in my opinion) and that is the odd scam artist or person who lies about where they live etc. for whatever reason. These people don't deserve a response if they can't be honest.

Hi All,
After a long absence I'm back on Big Church and back to blog again.
Just to warm up our brains (just my excuse to actually pick your brains), I pose a question which may sound simple on the surface but has some major application impacts, so here goes...
Every decision we make has three basic parts...a motive, an action and a consequence. Which of these parts do you think is most important when making a decision.
Look forward to your responses.

G'day...I'm back.
I have been doing a lot of thinking about what's going on in the world and I would like some opinions from all you good people at Big Church.
Should Christians fight in war? If so, when is it justified? If not, why not?
Thanks in advance.

A little poem from someone I know well.
***************************
It comes in waves Please stop, please, It doesn't, No relief, Ever
Pop the pill, It takes time, Wait, The wave returns, Why?
Just get over it, It happens everyday, It happens to many, The wave continues, Still no relief
Drink, Drugs, Sex, Money, Work
Despair, Darkness, Depression, Decision, Death.
******************
There is not much more that I can add. This is how he felt. In case you are wondering, yes, he is still with us. The last two steps he hasn't taken yet.
Sorry to bring down the mood but this is reality for some.

Christians that don't fit in...

I'd like some views on this issue.
We all have (or have known) people in our churches who are on the 'fringe'. They don't beloong to any of the main cliques, they aren't worship leaders or teachers, they certainly don't feature prominently in our church in any way, shape or form. Eventually they disappear and no one seems to notice.
Some of them are dorky and therefore they don't fit in with the cool Christians, some are single but and the married wives or husbands think they are a threat, some are rough and by their looks scare people away. Some don't comply with the popular views but express their own and are either shouted down or made fun off. Some are slow and have problems understanding the Bible. And the list goes on.
What happens to these people? Why do we let it happen? Has it happened to you? Do we judge other Christians on their compatibility with us or do we love them as Christ does?
Christ never let them go, why should we?

G'day,
Welcome to Cerebral Eddy.
Basically this is a blog which has some of the thoughts that go around and around in my head. Some will be questions, some thoughts and hopefully some differing points of view. The aim is really for this blog to be a place where we can learn from each other and where we can be challenged.
At times my approach may be a little unorthodox but don't worry too much about that...I like to see people being passionate about what they believe and expressing their views.
I hope to learn more and more about Christ with the help from all the Big Church people.
In the next couple of days I will start the real work...please come back often and let me know what you think.
