Velvet was diagnosed with Viral Phnuemonia and is in a stable condition now. She is breathing still with oxygen, but is now able to talk, thankfully.

There is such a shortage of beds in our hospital system that they kick you out asap. This means, crazily enough they are thinking of sending her home tomorrow. She feels that would be ok as she can only lay about anyway, but how does she find the strength to cook for herself let alone anything else, Grrrr!!

I live about 5 hours away from her, and I can't leave the to look after her as I would like too. I rang my eldest who is going to go down there in a couple of days and take a couple of weeks home cooked meals from here, just to help her out a bit.

Please keep her in your prayers. She hasn't been able to smoke for 4 days now and is wondering how long she can handle it and whether this is one way of God dealing with her desire to give it up permanently.

Thanks for your ongoing prayer support.

Blessings,

Louise

He created who?

The God of the universe created the heavens and the earth. He created the stars and the moon. He created the birds and the fish, and all creatures great and small. Then He created Adam and then created Eve, wow!

Then what did He do? Of all the magesty of all creation, He then chose to create me, uh huh, me & you! Wow!

He created man in His image. We women are the feminine side of God. We radiate the beauty of God. We are the emotional side of God. We are the nurturing side of God. We are the giving until it hurts side of God.

Men You are the masculine side of God. You are the strong leadership side of God. You are the laying down of ones life for their wives and family side of God! You are the resposable/accountable the buck stops here side of God. Wow, again wow!

God created man to have fellowship with Him. Adam walked in the garden and talked with God! God needs us to have fellowship with Him, just as much as we need to have fellowship with Him.

He created Eve to be Adams helpmeet, and as one they were created to worship and glorify the Lord in everything they did.

It's no different today with all of us. Whether we are single or married He created us in His image to have fellowship with Him, not just on Sunday and Wednesdays, but all day, every day, walking with Him. Being in an attitude of talking with Him, seeking Him and listening to His quiet still voice.

Lord I pray that in my life, you will be Glorified. May I always look to you as my creator and Saviour. May I bring you glory in all that I do in my life time. May all my and family know your truth. I pray that your love will be represented to them through my life and witness. Amen

What manner of Love is this?

Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we shall be called of God! 1 John 3:1

Have you ever just been stumped on the enormity of the love that our Heavenly Father has given unto us?

The Lord is in the process of taking me through some healing of past hurts and wrong thinking that has bound me up for so many years.

He has also given to me my lifetime partner as an incredible gift. This man has been handpicked by the Lord so he can love me the way the Lord always intended me to be loved.

Why would the Lord grant me so much mercy and grace? Why would he send someone who can physically wipe away each tear that Jesus does in the spirit? Why would he place such high value in confessing sin and forgiving another? Why would He want me to walk in a life of freedom and peace?

WHY? Becasue He loves me. I will say it again, He loves me, yup little ol'e me!

He loves us unconditionally, even when we have fallen so short.

What manner of Love is this???

The Father's Love of course, not just for you and for me, but for all humanity!

Blessings today as you serve our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, the only living God! Amen.

my sister was taken to hospital late yesterday by ambulance. She is very sick. The doctors have run many tests and at this stage we are waiting for the results to come back. It seems that the bronchitus has developed into something much worse.

I would appreciate all my brothers and sisters joinging with me in agreement for healing for her physically and also emotionally.

Thankyou. I will keep you up to date.

Blessings, Louise

Just wanted to share with all my friends here who have been lifting me up in prayer, especially with regard to Aaron.

Last Friday night, two weeks after taking off, Aaron joined us as a family and we all went Ten pin Bowling together. After we had such a great time I asked him if he wanted to come home for the weekend and have some family time. He responded positively and came home with us.

He came to church with us on Sunday. He and his siblings watched DVD's and had pizza together while my love and I spent a few quality hours together. When we got back to pick up the others, he asked if he could come home too. You could have knocked me over with a feather! When we got home he asked if he could talk with me and my love, and although there was a little hint of manipulation to have things his way, he backed down and seemed happy to co-operate.

He has spent each day being more and more focused on his school work and attitude. He is wanting to achieve good marks for Uni in a couple of years, and realises that only he can make the difference.

Thankyou so much for your prayers and support. Please keep him in your prayers. He is hoping to give up smoking by his 17th birthday (30-09)and I promised that I would allow him to go for his licence if he did.

The best 5 Days ever

My beloved took some time off work and spent part of the last week with me and the family.

We spent some real quality time together, sharing, healing, laughing and falling deeper in love with each other. The time we all spent together was a foretaste of what life is going to be like when we are married. The adore him and he feels very comfortable around them. He has been a great influence on the lives of all my , including my oldest , Benjamin who lives on his own. I asked him yesterday if he would like to give me away, and he was choked up and said that he would be honoured to do that for me. Aaron also sees consictency in him and feels unthreatened.

I can honestly say that the past 5 days have been the very best I have experienced. I feel so content and at peace with everything. My love makes me feel secure in his love for me, even without exchanging a kiss, which we are saving for the wedding day.

It is awesome when you trust in the Lord and commit to wait for Him to provide you with your soul mate. I know without a shadow of doubt that the Lord has hand picked him out just for me, and me for him.

Blessings, Louise

A couple of months ago now I lost the biggest of the two contracts for deliverinng the junk mail in our town. It has been a hard road since then financially, and at times I felt like there was no end in sight.

I recieved a phone call earlier this evening from the major contractor stating that the bigger companies decided that the compliants from angry customers in smaller townships (like ours)helped them make their decision to reinstate the catalogues to be delivered again.

Praise God for His faithfulness, and allowing me to draw strength from Him during this time. I also want to thank all of you who have been prayer warriors and interceding for us.

Blessings,

Louise & family

Walk in Love

When I am being disciplined, I get up early and go for my 'constitutional' walk in the cold and watch the sun rise. My are still tucked up tightly in bed while I walk then come home and have time alone with the Lord. While I am walking I listen to praise and worship on my MP3 and often get lost in it! I often pray and meditate on the things of God also. Lately though there has been an added person that comes with me on my walk, although not in the physical, but in my heart. Yes my beloved and I like to walk, and one day we will be able to walk together as husband and wife.

This short poem came to me this morning half way on my walk as I was praying about our future together. God is so good!

Walk in Love

Your love for me is overwhelming
It reaches me deep inside,
Beloved I'm longing for that day
We'll walk together by each other's side.

I love you Beloved, with all my heart. I praise God each day for the gift of you that he gave to me.

My dear sister Velvet has a bad bout of bronchitus. She was recently born again and has struggled with giving up smoking. She has tried unsuccesfully over the last twelve months. She knows that the bronchitus has gotten worse each time, and this time it is serious. Please pray for healing for her not just for the bronchitus but to be delivered from the smoking as well.

Blessings,

Louise
