One to change the light bulb and to post that it had been changed.
Fourteen to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light bulb could have been changed differently.
Seven to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs.
Seven more to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light bulbs.
Six to argue over whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb".
Another six to condemn those six as stupid.
Nineteen to post that the group is not about light bulbs and to please take this discussion to a lightbulb (or light bulb) forum.
Eleven to defend posting to the group saying that we all use light bulbs and therefore the posts are relevant to this group.
Thirty six to debate which method of changing light bulbs is superior, where to buy the best bulbs, what brand of bulbs work best for this technique and what brands are faulty.
Seven to post where one can see examples of different light bulbs.
Four to post links they found from the that are relevant to this group which make light bulbs relevant to this group.
Thirteen to link all posts to date, quote them in their entirety including all headers and signatures and add "Me Too".
Five to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the light bulb controversy.
Four to say "didn't we go through this already a short time ago?"
Five to actually call the lighting industry on the phone just so he/she could (be the correct high almighty).
Thirteen to say "do a google search on light bulbs before posting questions about light bulbs".
Three to tell a funny story about their show and a light bulb.
AND
One group lurker to respond to the original post 6 months from now with something unrelated they found and start the crap all over again.

Sometimes it's best to wait
My got his first car today. He is 19. He is so excited. Now he will not have to rely on others or walk to his college classes.

| . | Wow, it is so nice to be back here. You guys just don't have a clue. I began today thinking what am I going to post and thought of a few cool topics, but then said, update time. So I am going to give my open book update of what's been going on. Some really cool stuff....about my first.
My moved out two weeks ago. He graduated from High School and will be going to college this month. He scored in the 98% tile. Yet, while he was in high school, he missed more days than he went. It is still a mystery. My graduation card read, Only you could have done it the way you did it.
The little bugger applied on his own for two grants and got them. He has $17,000. in school tuition fees paid in full. Praise God. So, if he stays in Florida, his college will basically be paid in full. You don't know how much of a relief this is for me to have this funded assistance that does not have to be paid back. Yep, he gave up the marines idea, because of his health history. He simply can't run a mile without literally dying.
He has also arranged free housing close to the college so he can walk to his classes. I am totally amazed and very proud.
Blessings,
Sheri

I gave you life, when choices had to be made, but I cannot live it for you now. I can teach you things, but I cannot make you learn. I can give you directions, but I cannot always be there to lead you. I can allow you freedom, but I cannot account for it. I can take you to church, but I cannot make you believe. I can teach you right from wrong, but I cannot decide for you. I can give you love, but I cannot force it upon you. I can teach you to be a friend, but I cannot make you one. I can teach you to share, but I cannot make you unselfish. I can teach you respect, but I cannot force you to show honor. I can grieve about your report card but I canot make you study, I can advise you about friends, but I cannot choose them for you. I can teach you about sex and the facts of life, but I cannot decide for you. I can tell you about drinking, but I cannot say "no" for you. I can warn you about drugs, but I cannot prevent you from using them. I can teach you about goals and dreams, but I cannot achieve them for you. I can teach you kindness, but I cannot force you to be kind. I can warn you about sin, but I cannot make your morals. I can love you as a , but I cannot place you in God's family I can pray for you and your future, but I cannot make you walk with God. I can tell you how to live, but I cannot give you eternal life.
Cherish these words for life. I love you. Happy Birthday, my .
I love you, Mom.

You guys and gals are my extended family and so much time has been invested here in the last two years.
Just a little update on what has been going on and how God has been working in my family.
For those of you that are discouraged, hopefully this blog will encourage.
Two years ago, I was plagued with cancer, tumors and depression over leaving a lucrative career over health issues.
A year ago, I dropped the meds and did the impossible against all odds.
I got two part time jobs equaling 60 hours a week in my time. No it has not been easy. Many days I have cried over why it has to be so hard. Daily, I pray that God has a plan and purpose in it all.
Other things have happened. A year ago I left my parents home to move back to Maui. Things did not work out well. Jobs were slim. This is why I have not had much time to blog.
Daily, it is a mental drain. I wonder if life will ever get easier. I try to balance what is really important with what is passing thru and not so critical. Just keep me out of the grocery store for food and I will be fine on the budget. hahahha
I recently started a vegetable garden and will let you guys know how it goes.
I am blessed. God has given me work when I need it, and a wonderful .
Thanks for listening....I hope I was some encouragement to some that feel hopeless as I did 3 years ago.
Have faith, set goals, do what is right and God will be by your side.

My has decided to go into the marines. What do you think? The Army, Marines, Navy...what are the pro's and con's? Does anyone know? I have been told that in the marines they go into the combat zone. You know that I am wondering. Can any advice be given for one that wants to serve their country?

I think all of us have heard that life is a journey. The best journey is enjoying life, of course from a biblical perspective. Enjoyment is not based on enjoyable circumstances. It is an attitude of the heart, a decision to enjoy everything because everything has a part in the overall big picture of life.
I have finally realized since I was not enjoying life, I had to make a decision to find out what was wrong and rectify it. The decision demanded learning new ways of handling situations. Once I decided that it was my approach to some of the lemons in life that needed adjustment all started falling into place. So many times we think that we have failed yet, from a biblical perspective we are instructed to be joyful. So, what is being joyful from a biblical perspective. It's knowing the big picture as true.
So, I plant my flowers and water, work many hours and wait for their bloom. I work daily, even extra many days to pay the bills. I encourage my and associates near by. My family is happy. Prayer is present. What more is one to be joyful for? Please share your experiences on joy in your life, I would love to hear...
