Stories about the presence of God in our lives is what makes this life so interesting. I continue to believe that the irrational is more prevalent in life than the rational. How on earth could a God who loves us give us so many problems to untangle; so many wars to understand; so many challenges in our own personal lives; so many natural disasters that boggle our mind. Miracles are an every day occurence only if we see with the eyes of faith; only if we use the God-given radar that our faith allows us to comprehend.

Please help me...

I learned today from my family doctor that the surgery on my arm did not go well at all. Infact the shoulder disintegrated when he attempted to put a screw in it, that he had to use wire in the end... so the surgeon's lack of confidence in its healing was well founded. I'm turning this over to prayer and hoping you will assist me.... God bless you all!

I can tell you that if nothing else, the prayers of this community has been an immense blessing on me. My pain is no different-- believe it or not and now I am entering my second month of recovery with still no sign of healing.

But coming here and seeing your compassion and care makes a huge difference in my life. It is hard being alone and not getting the help that I need-- but that is the reality.

So once again-- THANK YOU ALL for the many kind words and the abundance of prayer. Gosh... you havve no idea what all this means to me!

Thank God for percocet and toradol!
The occupational therapist came out to see me yesterday and helped arrange some appointments for me...... but still in severe pain.....almost one month after surgery.

I must keep believing though.... and belieme, your prayers and words are incredibly powerful to me.

I did not mention that yesterday I went to the food bank.... and lo and behold I met a lady who years ago I recalled from the charismatic prayer prayer meetings...almost miraculously after saying hello to her husband she heard my voice, saw my pain and asked if she could pray over my arm.

I do believe that God sent that lady to me yesterday, She was so positive that the shoulder would heal..........in spite of all the negative feelings of the surgeon.

I keep each and everyone of you close to my heart and in prayer for all your own needs.......and thank you for taking the time to pray!

It is a miracle I have so far survived on my own after over three weeks since the surgery. The dressing was removed last Tuesday and usually by now a rotator cuff patient has started physiotherapy. My arm will remain in the sling until mid September with no movement whatsoever so it seems to me we are praying for a miracle... he will only say we take it one day at a time, and of course he pointed out a day after the surgery that he doubted that this would heal. Of course this has left me in a dreadful state as I am still in unbeleivable pain.

Thank you all for your prayers as I await upon the healing of the Lord.

You are all so kind and so plentiful with your prayers. What a marvelous community of God filled people!
