It's a beautiful spring morning here as the computer hums, the sun shines threw the windows, and I get to relax in one of my favorite churches. The troubles in my life and in the world seems to be removed from me, yet only temporary. I can hear the sound of clothes spinning in the dryer, and an occasional car or truck passing on a near by road. For the morning is busy yet, the dumptrucks that are digging the land all around me are quiet this morning. The occasionally breaths a deep sigh as he sleeps on grandma's chair that he seems to think is his. He rest ever so peacefully.

For today there is much work to be done. I know in my heart that "no matter what happens to me today I will get threw it because My Lord will be beside me all the way"

For this is the day that the Lord hath made......Rejoice.....and be glad in it!!!

One day can make such a difference on ones life. The life and death of a friend can change your outlook. Even the death of a stranger can sometimes wrench at your heart for days, weeks, years. Although I haven't (fortunately) experienced a death close to me in the last 6 mo. I am still affected by the loss of Terri Shivo and of a 16 year old girl that I didn't know, another "stranger". I learned of her death the other day from my sister who didn't go into detail at all about it. Well, didn't even say it was a 16 year old girl.

Today I got the story as best as my mom could understand it. My niece, who is now awaiting a trial handed this girls boyfriend (also 16) a spoon with methadone on it. He gave it to her in I.V. form. Three days before Christmas the girl died after leaving my niece's residents.

My sister (step-sister) feels "it's not her (my nieces) fault.

My heart goes out to the family of this girl, and to the parents of teenagers today. This is what is turning out to be the "heroin days". In comparison with "the Hippy Days" it's killing so many more of our babies.

Take time to hug you (gift from God) today. Because what a difference a day can make!!!

"Tomorrow is no Guarantee"
Thank you Lord for "today"

Forbidden by man. Forgiven by God.

Love

This is my means of communicating. It is one of the only ways to express the real me. Hiding what is inside is simply not the way to live. God knows the desires of my heart, and someday it is my hope that he will free them.

I must follow his will for me. I must do what I can to figure out just what that is! One day at a Time. His plans for me are greater than even I can emagine. It is my hearts desire to do...Just his will.
