Should We Help The Homeless ?

How do we feel about the homeless ? Do we have compassion for them ? Jesus told a story about The Rich Man and Lazarus , Luke 16:19 There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day . 16:20 At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus , covered with sores 16:21 and longing to eat what fell from the rich man's table . Even the dogs came and licked his sores . 16:22 The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham's side . The rich man also died and was buried . 16:23 In hell , where he was in torment , he looked up and saw Abraham far away , with Lazarus by his side . 16:24 So he called to him , 'Father Abraham , have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue , because I am in agony in this fire ,' 16:25 But Abraham replied , ' , remember that in your lifetime you received your good things , while Lazarus received bad things , but now he is comforted here and you are in agony . 16:26 And besides all this , between us and you a great chasm has been fixed , so that those who want to go from here to you cannot , nor can anyone cross over from there to us .' 16:27 He answered , 'Then I beg you , send Lazarus to my father's house , 16:28 for I have five brothers . Let him warn them , so that they will not also come to this place of torment .' 16:29 Abraham replied ,'They have Moses and the Prophets ; let them listen to them .' 16:30 'No father Abraham ,' he said ,'but if someone from the dead goes to them , they will repent .' 16:31 He said to him ,'If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets , they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead ." // Now in this story Jesus was telling about the rich man who lived in luxury , but only cared about himself , and later died and was in hell . While Lazarus had a bad life and died and was in Heaven . And as the rich man in hell still believed that Lazarus was a servant and a messenger to wait on his needs . The big question is : Are we willing to do what ever it takes to help the homeless ? Or are we like the rich man who only cared about himself ?

Is There Life After Death ?

A lot of people in today world think about this very subject . I have asked this question to a lot of different people and here are some of their replies . Some people have told me that when they die they want to go to hell , because in hell they are going to party . Some other people say they were a different person in another life , so these people have to keep coming back time and time again until they get it right . And still some other people believe in evolution and that man came from a monkey and monkey came from a small living organism . Some other people also believe that they will come back as a , cow or other some other animal . Some people also believe in the big bang theory , Oh I am sorry I did not hear it go off , and some people believe that when you die that it , Thats All Folks . What does the Bible have to say about this subject ? It is appointed for man once to die and then comes judgment . For all the things we have done on this earth either good or bad . The Judgment Seat of Christ . The Books will be opened . If our name is not in the Book of Life , we have only one fear , and that is of the raging fire that will consume the enemy's of God . To the Christians who trusted in Jesus there will be Life in Heaven , Joy , Peace and Love more then we can ever imagine . I have also talked to some people at the library one day , they said if Jesus loves us so much how come He sends people to hell . I told them Jesus does not send anyone to hell ! People choose where they want to go . The truth is Jesus , let himself be hung on a Cross for all our sins past , present and future . He could have called on over ten thousand angles but he didn't . He could have spoken the word {GO!} , and the spikes in his hands and feet would have been sent into the farthest part of the universe at the speed of light . The Truth is Jesus died a horrible death on that Cross for you and me so that we would not have to . That is how much Jesus loves us . Jesus is saying you matter to me and I do not want to be without you in Heaven . Accept Jesus Today .

Here Are Some Verses , A Lot Of People Do not Understand

Hebrews 10:26-27 through 10:39 The opening verses read {If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth , no sacrifice for sins is left , 10:27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God . //This was written as a warning to the Jewish believers of that time , who once loved the things of Jesus but later wanted to go back to Judaism because of persecution . The truth is Jesus died once for the sins of the whole world there will never be another sacrifice for sins acceptable to God . If we will not take hold of this sacrifice Jesus is offering we might as well get ready to suffer in hell for what we have done here on this earth . Jesus wants no one to die in their sins but for all to come to him for the forgiveness of their sins .// {Now here is a parable of Jesus love for us . >The Parable of the Lost {Luke 15:11 Jesus continued: "There was a man who had two sons . 15:12 The younger one said to his father ,' Father , give me my share of the estate .' So he divided his property between them . 15:13 Not long after that , the younger got together all he had , set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living . 15:14 After he had spent everything , there was a severe famine in that whole country , and he began to be in need . 15:15 So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country , who sent him to his fields to feed pigs . 15:16 He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating , but no one gave him anything . 15:17 When he came to his senses , he said ,'How many of my father's hired men have food to spare , and here I am starving to death ! 15:18 I will set out and go back to my father and say to him : Father , I have sinned against heaven and against you . 15:19 I am no longer worthy to be called your ; make me like one of your hired men.' 15:20 So he got up and went to his father , but while he was still a long way off , his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him ; he ran to his , threw his arms around him and kissed him . 15:21 The said to him ,'Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you . I am no longer worthy to be called your . 15:22 But the father said to his servants ,' Quick ! Bring the best robe and put it on him . Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet . 15:23 Bring the fattened calf and kill it . Let's have a feast and celebrate . 15:24 For this of mine was dead and is alive again ; he was lost and is found .' So they began to celebrate . 15:25 Meanwhile , the older was in the field . When he came near the house , he heard music and dancing . 15:26 So he called one of the servants and asked him what was going on . 15:27 'Your brother has come .' he replied ,'and your father has killed the fattened calf because he has him back safe and sound .' 15:28 The older brother became angry and refused to go in . So his father went out and pleaded with him . 15:29 But he answered his father ,'Look! All these year I've been slaving for you and never disobeyed your orders . Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends . 15:30 But when this of yours who has squandered your property with prostitutes comes home , you kill the fattened calf for him !'15:31 My ,' the father said ,'you are always with me , and everything I have is yours . 15:32 But we had to celebrate and be glad , because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again ; he was lost and is found ," // The Verse in Hebrews 10:26-27 through 10:39 were meant as a warning to the Jewish Christians at that time . The Lost is to show us that Jesus loves a repented sinner . As long as we come back to Jesus he will forgive us again and again in this Grace period here on earth . But since it is the {End Times} and time is short . What should we do , stray away from Jesus ? Or stay strong in Jesus ? It is up to us!!!

( The Faith Of The Centurion }

Matthew 8:5 When Jesus has entered Capernaum , a centurion came to him , asking for help . 8:6 "Lord," he said ," my servant lies at home paralyzed and in terrible suffering ." 8 Jesus said to him ," I will go and heal him ." 8:8 The centurion replied ," Lord , I do not deserve to have you come under my roof . But just say the word , and my servant will be healed . 8:9 For I myself am a man under authority , with soldiers under me . I tell this one , Go , and he goes ; and that one ,' Come ,' and he comes . I say to my servant , Do this ,' and he does it ." 8:10 When Jesus heard this , he was astonished and said to those following him ," I tell you the truth , I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith . 8:11 I say to you that many will come from the east and the west , and will take their places at the feast with Abraham , Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven . 8:12 But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside , into the darkness , where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth ." 8:13 Then Jesus said to the centurion ," GO ! it will be done just as you believed it would .' And his servant was healed at that very hour . // In those days a Centurion was a Roman Officer in charge of 100 men . The Jewish people despised these officers because they had control of Israel . They were looking for their Messiah to come and free them from the Roman rule at that time . And even though Jesus was right there with them they did not receive Him as their Messiah,,. The Centurion came to ask for help for his servant who was suffering . Jesus said I will go to help him , but the officer did not feel worthy to have Jesus come under his roof to help his servant . In those days the Jewish people would not enter a gentiles home because they believed this would make them ceremonially unclean . Or as in Matthew 8:1-8:4 were Jesus healed a leper . Also this officer might have realized like John the Baptist , that he was not worthy of Jesus , The Centurion knew these powers were from God and if Jesus just said the "Word" his servant would be healed . He had faith in Jesus , and knew Jesus could heal his servant . Jesus Said He Had Never Seen Such Great Faith In All Of Israel . He told them that many Gentiles would come from the East and the West and take their places in the Kingdom of Heaven , but the Jewish people for who it was prepared would be thrown into outer Darkness where there would be weeping and gnashing of teeth . A description of Hell . {Because of their unbelief}. The Jewish people thought that since they were Abraham's descendent's they had a right or a passport to Heaven {Matthew 3-3:12 . So this was a reversal of what the Jewish people thought . Then Jesus said to the Centurion ," Go! it will be done just as you believed it would . And his servant was healed at that very hour . As Jesus demonstrates his love for this Centurion by healing his servant and was surprised by the faith the Centurion had in Him . Do we have Faith in Jesus today like this Centurion did ? That no matter what comes up in our life , what ever troubles , we can call on Jesus to get us through them . Believe in Jesus today , He Loves You So Much and He is waiting to have a personal relationship with you today . Jesus is saying come to me , I Love You , I do not want to be without you in Heaven .......So believe in Jesus today .......

What Causes Division In The Body Of Christ

Luke 18:9 To some confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everybody else , Jesus told this parable : 18:10 " Two men went up to the temple to pray , one a pharisee and the other a tax collector . 18:11 The Pharisee stood up and prayed about himself : God , I thank you that I am not like other men robbers , evildoers , adulterers or even like this tax collector . 18:12 I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get .' 18:13 " But the tax collector stood at a distance . He would not even look up to heaven ,but beat his breast and said , God , have mercy on me a sinner .' 18:14 " I tell you that this man , rather than the other , went home justified before God . For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled and he who humbles himself will be exalted ." // As in this Parable , the Pharisee exalted himself above this Tax Collector . Today this also goes on in some Churches . This is a problem of being spiritually proud . As the Pharisee thought he was better then this Tax Collector . God let His Jesus Christ die on the Cross for all His people , not just for some . And if some members are spiritually proud how can they be of any use in the body of Christ . So they should become as humble as Jesus was when He lived here on this earth . They need to bring others to Jesus but if they are spiritually proud how can these people do this ? These few need to follow Jesus and not rely on their own good works . Only what Jesus has done on the Cross for us will make a difference in where we will spend eternity when we die . Accept Jesus now , for no man knows what tomorrow holds , but for him who accepts Jesus now there awaits for them eternity in Heaven . A life of complete and total happiness , joy & peace and love that no man can understand .

Are We Willing To Do What Ever IT Takes To Get Close To Jesus ?

Jesus went through city's teaching , preaching , and healing this was His ministry . He had compassion on the helpless people that were around Him . Virtue and Power radiated from Him and He healed many . There was a woman who was subject to bleeding for 12 years . This woman was considered to be unclean . She would have to stay by herself in a tent . She was not aloud to have a husband because of this condition that made her unclean . The Bible tells that she had spent all the money she had on doctors to get better . But instead of getting better she became worse . She heard that Jesus was in the town where she lived . So she went out by faith to just touch the edge of his garment , she knew by touching His garment she would be healed and made well . She was not suppose to be around anyone because of her condition but she knew if I just get to Jesus I'll be O.K . So she pressed her way through the crowd of people that were around Jesus . She touched the hem of his garment and healing power was released healing her instantly . As Jesus turned around and asked who touched Him because He felt power released from Him . His disciple's replied there is a large crowd around you , how can you ask us that ? Jesus just wanted the woman to come forward in front of the crowd as a testimony and to let her know she was free from her suffering . At that moment she knew she could not go unnoticed . She fell at Jesus feet and confessed it was her . Jesus told her she was free from her suffering and could go in peace . Today do we have the same passion for Jesus like we use to ? Are we willing to do what ever it takes to be close to Jesus ? // Mark 5:25-34 Luke 8:43-48

What Gifts Has God Given You As You Can Make A Difference ?

Ephesians 4:11 It was he who gave some to be apostles , some to be prophets , some to be evangelists , and some to be pastors and teachers , 4:12 to prepare God's people for works of service , so that the body of Christ may be built up 4:13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the of God and become mature , attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ . First Peter 4:10 Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others , faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms . 4:11 If anyone speaks , he should do it as one speaking the very words of God . If anyone serves , he should do it with the strength God provides , so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ . To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever . Amen . // God gives each of us different gifts to help others in the body of Christ , the church . To build up and strengthen the church and bring people to Christ . But if we just sit in our seats and do nothing how can we do this ? It is up to us to do what God asks us to do . If we are not sure what our Gifts are , we can ask a Pastor or other Christian friend who is using his or her Gifts . Usually a Gift from God is one that we long to do , to help others come closer to God and his purpose for their lives . God loves us so much and wants each of us to have a place in the Body of Christ . If then he wants us to have a place in the body of Christ what will he give us to do ? It will never be boring but the ride of your life .

Mark Of The Beast

Here is a subject that I do not like to discuss . Since it is the end times and there are some people who do not know about this . Non-Christians . I have some people I am worried about and maybe you have some people you are worried about taking this mark . Maybe loved ones who you feel later might take this mark . It is not ordered yet . A couple years ago I turned on the TV and saw a Great Western bank commercial soon taken off the air . It had people walk up to a teller and scan their head , the scan would not go through . So they did it again and again . While the Great Western costumer went to a teller and had no problem getting money . That went off the air real fast , I think someone did not want anyone to know and this was a real mistake ...This subject is in Revelation 13:16 - 13:18 / 14:9 - 14:12 / 16:2 / 19:19 - 19:20 / 20:4 through . It is so important to tell other about Jesus and about this while there is still time . Computer = the mark of the beast or this is what the anti-christ will use to control people . ...The number... Take the alphabet start with A=6 / B=12 / C=18 / D=24 / E=30 / F=36 / G=42 / H=48 / I=54 / J=60 / K=66 / L=72 / M=78 / N=84 / O=90 / P=96 / Q=102 / R=108 / S=114 / T=120 / U=126 / V=132 / W=138 / X=144 / Y=150 / Z=156 /// Now take the word computer and add it up which = the beast number ... I did not figure this out , a 30 years ago did ... When a person takes this mark to buy or sell , they then belong to the devil and will not go to Heaven but to hell ... Share the gospel with someone today about Jesus who loved us enough to die for us ...

Don't Give Up , Give In To Jesus

Dear Friends , In this world" we worry about everything , from food to health to where will I live ? To do I have enough money ? We worry about will I meet someone , and will I get married , and will I have any and the list goes on and on . Some of you out there may be saying I'm ready to throw in the towel , I just cannot do it anymore , I'm going to call it quits . When we are low on energy little things , become big things . Maybe it is a problem between a Husband and Wife and no matter what you try to do it does not seem to be getting any better . Well there's an antidote and that antidote is called Jesus Christ . [Romans 8:11{Ph} "Once the Spirit lives within you , He will bring to your whole being new strenght and vitality."] See it is not through us that we get this strenght and vitality . It is through having a relationship with Jesus Christ . Jesus Christ will set you {free} . Free from what ? Free from past hurts , something someone said to you or did to you . Guilt over our past , something we may have said or something we may have done to someone . Maybe someone out there is thinking about taking your own life , DON'T DO IT ! Jesus is saying I Love You , I Care For You , You Mean Everything To Me . I've shown my love for you , I gave my life for you on the cross . {YOU MATTER TO ME} . [Romans 7:6 {Message} We're free to live a new life in the freedom of God."] Jesus is saying DON'T GIVE UP ! I have something better for you , something a lot better then you have ever dreamed of . Maybe you are sitting on the edge of a bed or on a seat . You did not just come here by accident . Jesus Loves You." Jesus Cares For You . [1 Peter 1:3-4 {Message} "Because Jesus was raised from the dead , we've been given a brand new life and have everything to live for , including a future in heaven-and the future starts now!"] It is only through Jesus Christ that we can get a life like this , A life full of happiness , a life full of joy , a life full of peace , and a life full of energy . How can we recieve this better life Jesus is offering ? This better life its Free and it's a Gift but someone had to pay for it , that someone is Jesus Christ who payed the price for you and me . Now not by giving up ! But by giving into the resurrection power of Jesus Christ . I have written a prayer on , my ministry titled Does God Like Me , you can say this prayer to invite Jesus to come into your life as Lord and Savior . Come to Jesus today , because Jesus does not want to be without you in Heaven !...

Does God like me?

Some of you may wonder about this . You may have been raised up in a strict religion , and no matter what you do you felt like God is mad at you . You may be trying to do all kind of things to appease this big God . You keep doing and doing and doing things , but no matter what you do , it does not seem to be enough . Finally after doing this for years , you finally call it quits , if this is the way it is I am out of here . But that is not how it is at all . Did you know Jesus hates religion , He hates it ! All those man made rules to get to Heaven . {Hebrews 7:18 thru 7:19 LB "The old system ...was canceled because it didn't work . It was weak and useless for saving people . It never made anyone really right with God . But now we have a far better hope , for Christ makes us acceptable to God..."} Jesus is into relationships , not religion . We do good things out of the love Jesus has already shown us . Not to make him like us , because he already likes us , He loves us ! Jesus wants to have a personal relationship with you . Jesus is saying right now , I do not just like you , but I love you so very much and you matter to me , I payed the price so that you would not have to , I am knocking at the door to your heart , will you let me come in ? Here is a simple prayer you can say to invite Jesus into every part of your life : Dear God: I want to start living the better life the life you created me to live . I realize that you made me for more than just the good life . So as much as I know how , I want to start living for you , and not for myself . Thank you for loving me . Thank you for sending Jesus Christ to die for my sins and pay the debt I owed . Today I open up my life to you Jesus . As best I know how I want to get to know you . I want to learn to trust you and follow you . Amen //John 10:10 Message ' [Jesus said:] I came here so you can have real and eternal life , a better life than you ever dreamed of ."// See its a relationship with Jesus Christ that we get this life . This Better Life ... Now if you have prayed this prayer your spirit is about to come alive your whole life is about to come alive .....
