Many times we take the Word for granted, I should say, "I", But i know i am not alone in this. We read, We pray, We worship, We praise, We go to church. We think okay, i dont have to read the bible today because i know the scrpitures or because I read this part several times, i already know it. So i dont have to read today or tomorrow or for the whole month! Wow...what a plot the devil has to deceive you once again.
When we dont stay focused on Christ everyday by reading his word and through prayer. When we allow other types of books or blogs or internet stuff, get in the way of our daily routine, our strong walls seem to get weary and boom,that's when satan throws an attack and hits you right where it hurts.
Now of course he didnt win, but he did give you a rug burn that's going to take some time for that burning and hurt to stop.
Armor of God, Ephesians 6, says it all. But we must as Christians always have our guard up. Dont put off reading his word or prayer just because. So when a storm comes your way or a deceiver tries to steer you away from God, dont allow it, be strong in God's word, always praying.So you will know when that wolf in sheep's clothing comes your way and you know exactly what to do!

What qualities should i be looking for in a Christian man?

I seem to be having a little problem with this. Christian men are the most complicated I noticed and the hardest to please. In my walk with Christ I met so many Christian men and still I am alone. NOw,i think to myself it can be me. So i wont blame the men, so a year ago I asked God to make me into the Woman of God, the wifey type, motherly type he would want me to be. So, changes occurred, weaning was made. I am different now i have to admit, but I still am not having any luck. NOw, i do give men the benefit of the doubt. I listen, try to enjoy what they like to do. give quality time, show affection, throw in some scripture, try not to overly talk about God. I submitt and do my best to listen and obey. But....it's still not working i guess.
So what exactly should i be looking for in a true Man of Christ? does anyone know?

Okay, we are not perfect human beings. Everyday is a learning lesson for me and i am sure for most of us. Another lesson learned. It seems that the enemy knows our hearts desires as well, how is that?, well when we tell our friends what we would like or even talk to our own selves..he seems to be always listening. I met someone I couldve sworn was the one, again. But this one really fooled me. REally fooled me. Trying to please this man and give him attention and be there for him. Well, my desires got in the way of my relationship with Christ. NOw, i am not saying i stopped loving God, but I wasnt praying as often or reading my bible as i should . So in awe, thinking okay... "God sent me this one". I tell you, the enemy can really fool you, even someone like me who's got all the corners covered.But he did. But luckily my daddy knows better, but my heart hurts. On Friday, something happened and this individual cut me off, for what reasons i dont understand. But i know God had something to do with it. He wasnt the one. On sunday, i asked for forgiveness and repented, for placing first my desires over my God.
NOw, my question is how do you have a Christian relationship? What is that? Because God knows all the chrisitans i met are far crazier and much harder to understand than the average worldly man.
Does any one have advice for me on this?

SIMPLICITY

My Gosh! Another small word with Powerful meaning. Today that is the Word that came to me, as I struggled once again with a mountain! Yes, I do struggle, just like everyone else, but except because i know who I am in Christ, I seem to overcome it quickly...Actually let me re-phrase that, God over comes it quickly for me. Sometimes I just get really fustrated and cast that mountain into the sea in Jesus's name! And it's gone, and there comes the solution. Anyway....simplicity.
Simplicity is something we all desire.
Simplicity is something that doesnt come easy.
YOu wonder why do things have to be so difficult at times, why do things have to be so unfair? Well, why is because we tend to forget we live in this world with a complicated creature that is just out to destroy the Peace and Joy God has given us. So that's why it's so important to know the weapons of Warfare. Yes it would be nice to have life so easy...but then how is God going to strengthen us when we go thru the fires?
Simplicity is something we do have, when we stop fighting and start letting God take control. When we begin to let him lead and we follow.
Simplicity begins when we receive all he has for us, and not what we think we want.
Simplicity begins when we trust our Heavenly Father.\
Simplicity begins when we receive His Peace in our lives.
We have to stop taking control and let him lead instead of us. We have to learn to trust him and know who is the one that lives within us. Yes, there is a big bad wolf out there, but our God is much bigger! So today, I will allow simplicity in my life, the simple things of God to control and possess my life. Simplicity means Jesus Christ! Amen!
P.s. I just ministered to myself. lol God has a sense of humor.

Sin lies at the door, Dont let it contaminate your walk with God!

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. But when I sin, knowing the sin is there lying at the door, as mature Christians we must quickly repent and ask for forgiveness. If not,you will reap what you sow...becareful!
Sin is disobedience: Epshesian 4:27 Psalm 28:3 and Genesis 4 To be made whole, we must truly stop sinning. Here are some of the different sins that will open the door to contamination by satan. Beware! and Be wise!
Ignorance: Dont be ignorant to God's Word
Proverbs 2:3 & Jeremiah 33:3 says to cryout for wisdom and knowledge. He commands us to find out about him.
Sin of Ignorance is because you are not crying out to know more of God.
Sin of Unbelief: Knowing God's word but not believing it.
Sin of Laziness & passivity: When we are lazy it opens the door for a robber to come in and steal.
Sin of Worry: God speaks to us not to worry. Jesus is the Prince of Peace, dont let the devil take that away from you.
Not walking in Love: Watch out for your lips& tongues, For the power of Life and death is in the tongue. Watch what you say about others.
Sin of Neglecting His Word: Must Read His Word, His Word is who He is. JOhn Ch1:1
Sin of Dishonoring your father and mother
Sin of Envy & Jealousy: it will bring rottenness to your bones.
Sin of dishonoring your spouse
Sin of Complaining and murmuring: Numbers 14:27
Sin of dishonoring leadership: This goes for your bosses as well. if you cant submit to them how can you submit to God.
When we are obedient and live Godly, we accumlate God's blessings and inheritance. We get to walk in divine health as God does, so dont contaminate yourself;Pray, read, worship, praise, know your enemy, and watch who'saround you. Cry out for wisdom and to know God more.
Remember we are not of this world, we dont belong here, so stop trying to fit in. This world will come and go, and so will we. One day we will see Jesus face to face, will he turn his back on you or will he"say welcome , well done, come in"
So next time you decide to open a door, think twice, is it really worth it? And becareful, becuz God wasnt born yesterday, so if you know before you do it, dont under estimate the power of God. He could close the door, He did for sometime to Israel. Dont let that be you...

Throw out the old shoes and put on the New shoes

When we grow in Christ, we shed the old ways and put on the new...when we continue to grow more and more in Christ, He gives us an extreme makeover when we didnt think anything was wrong with the old.
You see He's fitting me now into a new role, a new position and without me even praying on it, just being obedient and following the Lord, He's graduated me and has given me a new clothes, new hair style, and new shoes. Now, He's not only given me these wonderful material things, but the most important ones are the spiritual gifts and revelation of mysteries he's open up for me to know. A more deeper and profound knowledge of My Savior Jesus Christ.
When you are obedient and have a desire to know him deeper; dont question but listen and be a doer, he recognizes that and will move you up whether you wanted to or not. When we surreneder it all to our God , when we ask him for more of him, his knowledge, his love, his Holyspirit, He is faithful and pleased that we want to know more of him and changes occur. I trust my God with everything, where ever he leads me i know it's not to harm me, but to prosper me and love me.
So dont hang on to those old shoes, get rid of them, they are worn and stinky, put on the new ones with love and honor that your Lord thought enough of you to allow you to wear His new shoes! And enjoy the blessings...your daddy is proud! Amen to that! Amen!
Thank you Lord for your unconditional love, for your mercy and grace. For your compassion and understanding. For teaching me all i am in you and blessing my every step. Thank you Lord, for i am very grateful. In Jesus name amen!

Sometimes we just dont understand...

Everyday is a learning experience for me and many others on how our God works. When we think we know him, we really dont know all of him. I come to experience this remarkable learning experience these few weeks.
One day you can be as holy as you can, doing all God wants you to do and boom, He shuts up all communication on you. But yes, He is still with you, but there are times, when you must examine yourself and say okay....did i do something wrong? And God will show you.
Everyday we must ask the Holyspirit, is there a sin that is holding me back from receiving God's blessings or getting closer to him. When we communicate on a frequent basis with our Lord, besides just praising him, He is faithful to tell us " yes...you need to get rid of this, or improve in that or repent on this" God will warn you and tell you before the final stages of not talking to you at all.
I learned that God is no joke, and that he is no fool. And when we are mature Christians, he holds us accountable for our actions, much so than those who are babies in Christ. Mature Christians get the beatings pretty bad...but it's for our own good. Why I say that? because we should know better, because he has equipped us with the knowledge, tools, weapons of warfare, that we shouldnt fall for little weaknesses...and if we do we better as for forgivenss quickly and repent, verses trying to justify it.
So just to let all of you's know, God is no fool. You can be walking high and mighty one day...praising him, walking in His favor, doing all you need to do for him and you think you are excempt from His corrections, becuz you are doing what he wants...then all of a sudden, you did something that you should know better and displeased our Father. And then just like he kept silent between the old testament and new testament with Israel, he will keep silent with you. It's not worth it, God is worth everything....dont let that happen to you.

Help Wanted: Looking for Obedient of God

God is looking for those whose true hearts are of obedience. He is in need of repairing what damage the devil has done to his and are looking for those that are willing to listen to His voice and leave it all behind to do His will.
Many are called but few are chosen...Who are the chosen ones? The chosen ones are those that can stand the fire, who will not run away just because God is correcting you, those that are willing to give it all up without questioning Him.
Many are satisfied with just salvation.
Many are satisfied with just staying at the level they are at and never growing in Christ.
Well, God has placed a Want Ad quite some time ago and is still waiting to hire those who qualify for the position. Are you willing to be one of those that will fill the shoes of the chosen ones? Are you willing to leave it all behind and pick up your Cross and carry it? Are you willing to allow God to use you so that His Work will be done?
My question to you is...How much do you really love God? How much are you willing to sacrafice?
God is a good God, he is merciful, he is loving, he is compassionate and he understands. So dont think what you are giving up is worth more than what he has for you...Our God would not harm you but love you. He doesnt make it hard, we make it hard...by holding on to sin.
Think about it. This job has benefits and rewards like you would never have imagined. So give it a try, talk to our Heavenly Father and see what position you will fit right into.

Who am I?
The popular group casting crowns has this song called who am i? Words are so deep, i decided to share it with you's.
Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth, would care to know my name? Would care to feel my hurt?
