God is faithful...

God is faithful, no matter what! Whether it's a bump in the road, or a storm in your path, God is our Rock....our foundation. He is there to carry us, He is there to reassure us, He is there to give us strength. Storms are a normal part of life, no one likes to go through them, but this is God's way of strengthening us, refining us, molding us to who we are in him.
so next time you are going through a storm, get his Word out, start declaring, Play that Worship music and begin to praise him and you will see how our Savior will carry you and restore you!

In Jesus name! Amen!

Why is it hard to let go of loved ones that have gone home?

This past week has been a hard hit for me at home, you think you have come to terms with the "why?", you adjusted to the "why?", and thought you went out without the "Why?" and it all of a sudden hits you with one little picture or a love letter from the ones that left to go on home.

Mourning isnt easy,it's always been something I could understand, but cant seem to comprehend. When someone comes by me who just lost someone in their lives by either an accident or just timeand pray for them, But with me....I cant seem to soothe myself. I tell them that their love ones are with Jesus and always in their hearts, but for myself, although i know this...I cant seem to come to terms with it. The pain hurts so bad, that it's hard to really understand. I dont want to disrespect My Heavenly FAther, and May He forgive me for not understanding. And although He's healed my wounds and I feel peace, but there are those days when you come across a photo or an old letter or a moment when the memories flood back in and you just start crying and crying and crying. Is there any way to go on? Is there anyway to be healed from mourning....

My dad died of cancer when i was 7 at the age of 48, My sister died of aids at the age of 32 when i was 14, my fiance died at the age of42 in a bad car accident just last july.

I know this is nothing compared to some people out there, but the pain hurts. And when you think you are healed and over it, something happens and brings back that pain you fought so hard to get rid of. My sister brought a very old picture of us 3 sisters back when things were just fine, to see my sister who died, such a sad tradegy, brought back over flowing tears.....

I know my God did not take these young people away, He doesnt do that..the devil did. But i know they are in the place where we will all be at oneday...they are just better off. But it still hurts...does the pain ever end? Can you really go on with your life?

Keep me in prayer...thank you and God bless

12 Keys to Effective Prayer
....Stay in the righteousness of Jesus Christ.
Study and meditate on God's Word.
Spend time in thanksgiving, praise, and worship. .

Decide what you want to ask for and find Scriptures to back up your request.
Make specific requests.
Believe God in your heart.
Control your tongue all of the time.
Be patient and persistent.
Pray in the Spirit.
Pray in unity and agreement with other believers in Jesus Christ.
Consecrate yourself to God's service.
Listen to God and obey Him instantly.

The Heart of Prayer
Although the 12 Bible-based keys to effective prayer listed above are all very good, they don't tell the whole story. Prayer is intimate, personal contact with our Father in Heaven. It is heart-to-heart conversation with our loving God. Like any personal relationship, your relationship with God grows stronger and sweeter as you spend time talking together, expressing your love and the depths of your hopes, dreams, and concerns. There is much more in the Holy Bible about prayer, and much more that you learn best by spending time in prayer every day.

The Authority of the Believer in Jesus Christ
As a believer in Jesus Christ and a or of God, you have a great deal of authority to continue God's work in this world. With that comes the responsibility to use that authority in the fulfillment of the Great Commission and the Great Commandment. A great deal of our responsibility in this world as members of the Kingdom of God is to pray. We are commanded to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ to everyone in every land, language, race, and tribe and to love one another. The enemy of our souls and accuser still rails against us, but we have authority in the name of Jesus Christ to bind him and limit his actions and to free God and His angels to work in this world. Woe to us and those we should have prayed for if we don't.

How great is our reward if we do!

To all my BC friends,

Happy Easter...

Remember it's not about the Easter Bunny or the money you spent or the places you go to other than church, but it's about what our Precious King did for us!

The Hands and feet of Jesus Christ...

Basically, What each of you on a daily basis,to be Jesus's Hands and feet...you know, representing the love of Christ. Whether it be in ministry, prayer, help at church or with the homeless? Authors, ushers, leaders, visit hospitals, childrens homes?, maybe reading the bible at home with family or praying together..

You know Jesus said to go out into this world of darkness and be a light, this week let's take out time to really think,if we saw Jesus today, would He say " or ...I am proud of you, Job well done!" Or would He say" I never knew you"

Many of us blog on BC more some than others, representing our SAvior...but in our real lives what are we doing for Christ? On this Holy week, let's go ahead and share what we do aside from BC to be His Hands and Feet!

Happy Sharing!

I'll be the first...
Besides being in Church 3 times a week, i am part of the Intercessory group at church, church, and some evangelizing and other events every so often. Once a week, I teach (and with prayer) a Healing cell group( not related to my church) called Daughters of God Healing MInistry. I also get together with a few and pray and read the bible....along with side prayers from myspace members with prayer requests, and those that i pass at work, in the streets, and where ever God needs me. And also at home. God is awesome! Now your turn..

Being Transparent gets you to higher places with God

Transparent means see thru, crystal clear...The more you walk, the more you sacrafice, the more you obey, the more you have faith, the more you realize that you are nothing without him, the more you are transformed! you become transparent, completely see thru.

During my 4 year walk with Christ, He has delivered me, set me free, set me apart, given me gifts, tested me, strengthened me, revealed himself to me, discipled me, and blessed me. And in each month, He revealed to me something that was not of him and had to go, each month, i was renewed, each month He brought me closer to him, each month I submitted more and more, each month He taught me, each month was a step closer to becoming what I was intended to be in HIm. I am not perfect, I was there too. but i did something different not many do, I listened and obeyed God and each month I threw a piece of the old lisa away and accepted the new Lisa God has given me.

Today, i have to say, I am at peace and content that my Lord is pleased with my walk. I dont care if i have no friends, i dont care if no one likes me...all that matters to me is that when I reach the Heavens, Jesus will look at me and say" I am well pleased with you" and give me a big hug. That's what matters. God has done so much for me, He's given me the air I breathe, He's given me my car, my home, my job, he's saved my life from an accident, he's saved my from drugs, he's saved my unsaved family and still today He's more and more blessing me in all ways. And the more He reveals to me His compassion, the more I want to do for HIm. My God loved me when no one else did, He listened when no one did, He made me feel special, when others said i wasnt. My God is special to me, and i am very appreciative and so i gave my life to him and doing his works. Who wouldnt after what He's done for you .....to the very point of the Cross!

I am transparent, because my Father lead me there. I dont question,i just do! I dont blame or complain, i understand. I praise him thru the storms, and have faith he will come through. God is faithful and just and those that take out the time and really go deeper with him, are those that He is pleased with....

My father is pleased, how do i know that? because He's told me in His Word, in my spirit,in my heart, in prayer....

I give all the glory to my Lord Jesus Christ! Without HIm i am nothing!

What pleases God? The true Sons and Daughters of God!

You ever wonder what really pleases God, He talks on many things in His word. But the most that He mentions, that outstands, is Obedience and Faith. We are questionable people, before we can actually do something there is always a "Why". or a "how come?". Why cant we just seem to do it without thinking twice about it? Why cant we just believe it's true even if we dont see it yet? why cant we see beyond our circumstances? Our flesh is selfish and it always has to accomodate itself first before doing something. Well, when you sacrafice and you put God above everything in your life, when you finally say okay "God it's truly your way and not mine", when you truly believe God can do anything no matter what; that is the day you got God's attention. That is the day you truly have become His Sons and Daughters. of God. What are you willing to sacrafice for Him?, when are you ready to say "okay God i'll do what you want no matter what", when will you stop calling your father a liar and actually believe His Words...HIs promises.

Think about it and ask the Holyspirit to examine your self being, and reveal to you what is keeping you from receiving the fullness of God. And then ask for forgiveness and repent and truly mean it! And dig deeper in him, learn more of him so you can learn how to walk as He wants you to walk...in HIs Holiness! God bless...

I went to the bathroom at work & prayed and 15 minutes later...

God answered my prayer with a big Amen!

I take my God every where with me. He's in the kitchen, in the car, in the park, while i shop, at work and even in the bathroom; at home and at work. This is the special relationship God so seeks from us and that He shares with me! Well, today, which is not the first, but since i havent blogged in a while, thought i would share my "testimony". I wasnt stressing, especially after my co worker bragged on how "He" is getting the sales with no problem since "He's" the best at what he does. Well, I knew I was good at what i did, I sold a product because i knew customers wanted it and needed it, but He sold it because of the money he makes along with puffing himself up. Well, the spirit of discouragement tried to get to me, and i had known time was close at hand and i needed to get that 1 home equity line of credit, but with the markets down and everyone is going in foreclosure and has bad credit, it was sure trying to get me down. So at that moment(psalm 91), i remembered who i rely on for everything including the air i breathe...Jesus. So i went to the bathroom, knelt on the floor(with paper towels underneath my knees.lol) and i said Lord, you always come thru for me, i need your help. and i thanked him for helping me and praising him.I go back outside with a smile and call the next customer, as he came in to renew a CD, I told him about the money market, so there was a nice 20.00 added to my commission, and as i was finishing up, i just felt a gut feeling to just ask him a simple question..."do you own a home?" Would you be interested in Heloc? He said yes, tell me more, didnt have to convince him much and i asked "want to do the appl right now?" "sure" he says and within 15min. he not only put an appl in, but got auto approved for having excellent credit! I made my goal for the month, made my nice commission and made a loyal friend! building that relationship! God is good. Managers were happy, off my back and all i could do was cry! Cry on the way home, tears of Joy...because God always comes thru for me. Miracles happen in my life...i give all the glory to God.

A life pleasing to God, is one that brings in rewards and blessings! Dont question just obey, and that makes God very happy!

While trying to look for Mr. Christ-ian Right...have you ever noticed that ...

Maybe your just better off alone. When you are into God and leave the world for Him, when you know but know the scriptures, flow in the spirit, do God's work, hear from God....have you ever noticed it's harder to find Mr. Right like that? My dating situation doesnt seem to get better, and when you think that the one that somehow fell on your lap when you werent looking, knows scripture like you and flows like you do, but then argues like you...in scriptures? you know that your just way over your head. So then you think and say okay is it better to have a man that's scripture knowledgable or someone that doesnt know it at all. My point is that I dont think i ever had a disagreement and then scrpitures were thrown in there and then compared as in the form of anger ...not healthy at all. So there goes my perfect warrior in Christ...

And so sometimes you just think it's better to be alone...honestly! Pray for me on all this..thanks!

God gave me a gift of a Car! I didnt have to give anything!

I have to share with all of you's, how faithful our God is! As you probably know,I was in a car wreck last July, My Suv flipped and totalled my car, I am grateful to be walking with no scratches, a miracle from God, but today I received the Car God has promised me! A True Man of God, a True Christian, whom I really dont know, walked up to me and said "God has a gift for you...here's the title, a Car just for you"

This gentleman, not rich or owning a car dealership, that lives on a fixed income, apparently had this car God gave him a while back and now God told him to give it to me with no charge....

And so I am grateful to announce that My Heavenly DAddy once again has taken care of His and has given me a Red, Dodge Intrepet with low miles, leather seats, power windows, awesome radio station and cd, and it's perfect! Just like the hair cut God gave me to go with my new position at the bank! God has been blessing me, one right after the other...and you know why? Because I am faithful, and no matter what I continue to go forward and trust in him. I ask him to mold me, shape me, to use me...and this is the reward my father has given me for obedience and willingness! And I am ever grateful to my Daddy, for loving me and taking care of me!

And as for the gentleman....He's obedient to our Lord and Savior, and because of that He will be blessed beyond imaginable in many ways. You dont meet people, or strangers that you really dont know and will give up something dear to them because God told them too.

It's nice to see there are still true obedient Christians out there! Glory Glory to OUr God almighty! Amen!

Tax Time,is it biblical to claim Tithe as a ...what you call it?

It's tax time as we all know, my neice is doing my taxes and asked if i had a statement from my church on how much i give. I heard of this, never felt quite right with it, so i never did it before, but she insists it's okay and you will get something back. "Why not? Everybody does it" She says.

But I feel so uncomfortable, i dont know why....

So to understand is it biblical to file it on your taxes, or just something the govt made up for us. Which is not bad, but I need to do what God wants me to do. what do you think?

Thanks for all your feedback! May God bless!
