DISAPPOINTED???

Let's face it people disappoint us, we disappoint them...
The dictionary says disappoint is to fail to satisfy or to break a promise...
dis means away, apart, in reverse
There probably isn't one person who hasn't disappointed us at one time or another. Some more grievously than others. So how can we overcome the dark attacks of the enemy that stem from disappointment?
Here's a few ideas:
Appoint is to name to position
How about a new meaning for disappoint? Disappoint - as in remove from the position of power the person had in our life in order that they are not positioned to disappoint us any longer.
This may not be necessary for all who disappoint us, but for habitual offenders it certainly is an action that should be considered.
Forgiveness is always a required response to pain caused by disappointment. Jesus said we are forgiven as we forgive others.
Even in cases where the disappointer is yourself.
My prayer tonight is that you will be touched deeply by the Holy Spirit and that by the stripes of Jesus Christ ~ HE will heal all wounds from disappointments you have endured. As you heal, may HE be positioned in your life in a place wherein when disappointments do come they don't disappoint you anymore as the Lord guards your heart and mind diligently from all fiery darts of the enemy.
Father in Jesus name I ask that your pour your spirit upon any who are struggling with any emotions, demonic forces that are rooted from provocations of the enemy in any area. May you gird them fully that they may be unaffected and unshaken from their positions and as your word states harden not your hearts in the day of provocation. Stay in your place of peace, love, joy, faith, patience, virtue, temperance and let all of the fruits of God's spirit be made manifest in you mightily.
PEACE BE STILL IN THE STORMS either unwittingly or deliberately caused by the actions of others.
Praise God for in HIM is no guile...set your eyes upon the maker of heaven and earth...and guard your heart diligently for out of it are the issues of life...
Be blessed in peace and having done all to stand...stand therefore...

The weeping willows weep
their bows drooped low
hearts ever breaking
Growing oh so slow
The land is thirsty
the hearts seem so dry
The souls crying out
Please stop all the lies
Oh weeping willows
arise and you will see
the branches now are changing
moving upwards in their reach
Their eyes are shifting to on high
in desperation of their plight
reaching out to Jesus
The Lord then shall grant them sight
So weeping willows don't you weep
for joy comes in the morn
and you will see the daystar Christ
rise up forevermore
His spirit overcome you
wash you in His glory rain
for tears are there to cleanse you
and you will smile again
Those who sew in tears
reap laughter, love and glee
so stand up today and say
I want all you have for me
Refuse to sit by idle
giving up on all your dreams
Prophesy your future
Where radiant God will shine His beams
Believe that God will heal you
That He will bring you happiness
Bestowing love upon you
Where blissfulness is bliss
So weeping willows weep no more
give way to the Lord's best
rise up and praise His holy name
Yes it's time to pass the test
Giggle, sing and shine your light
in your newfound joy
let noone steal God's joy from you
for strength it will employ
Rise up now and sing!
Is there no God in thee?
Whom do we serve everyday?

Why do you look at me?
Gazing down so you can see?
Judging what you think I am?
Wounding me with heartlessness?
Don't you know in Christ I'm BLESSED?
So why do you look down on me?
Do you know I died to be this free?
Why do you throw stones at me?
Who are you to attack me?
Why is cruelty in your veigns?
When Jesus Christ HIMSELF HE REIGNS?
Why do you criticize all I do?
Why is my imperfection bothering you?
You think I'm nothing?
Well so do I...
If we think we're something
Our life's a lie
So why do you act like your better than me?
Because I'm different you're more lovely?
Why can't you see into the heart?
Where love awaits to bring new starts...
The pain & wounds I overcame
In Jesus Christ to help your pain
So why do you look down on me?
Maybe God chose me to be...
the one to guide you to HE
Innocent & Free...

THE WORD SAYS THAT SIGNS AND WONDERS FOLLOW THEM THAT BELIEVE...
SPEAK THAT OUT LOUD OVER YOUR LIFE OFTEN!
One day I went to this beach in our area. I frequently would go because it is just beautiful and surrounded by trees and everything God made. I love to go worship the Lord there. There were some cars there that day but not too many. I turned on my christian music full blast and I began to worship the Lord. I shouted LORD I'M NOT LEAVING TILL YOU RAIN ON ME...I KEPT DANCING, SINGING...SHOUTING I'M NOT LEAVING TILL YOU RAIN ON ME...TO MY SHOCK...ON THIS PERFECT SKY BLUE DAY THE CLOUDS STARTED TO COME IN FROM EVERY DIRECTION...I was like...WHOA...GOD IS DOING IT!!!! This lady comes up and interrupts my worship (I had my eyes closed & I really hate that it is so disrespectful to God) but she says you might want to leave. I said WHY? She said there are two men walking on the beach naked and holding hands. She went about her way. I said LORD WHAT DO YOU SAY I SHOULD DO??? HE SAID...STAND YOUR GROUND... I was like ok...so I kept worshipping...THUNDER STARTS CRACKING...LIGHTNING STARTS FLASHING...I AM LOVING IT...JUST PRAISING SHOUTING HIS GLORY...DANCING..SINGING...CARS ARE LEAVING LEFT AND RIGHT...AND THIS GUY PULLS UP AND INTERRUPTS ME ONCE AGAIN (I HATE THAT) and says bye! I was like huh? God says he'll be back. I said ok Lord and kept worshipping...still no rain...my are jumping and shouting and twirling, I am dancing, singing...twirling still no rain...just mighty clouds, thunder and lightning...pretty soon all the cars are gone but one...the car for the two men...and a song comes on about reconciling to God...I HAD IT TURNED ALL THE WAY UP and was also singing along. The whole time my big praising mouth is like I'm not leaving till you rain on me!!!! Suddenly the rain comes and not only does it come but it pours out...just pours....I couldn't see in front of my face hardly...My are shouting mommy, mommy God sent the rain...He sent the rain!!! The rain was annointed and sent shocks of God's spirit ALL THROUGH MY BEING...We kept rejoicing and suddenly I caught a glimpse of two covered shadows running through the rain...I could feel their heart beating fast..and their fear...I SHOUTED " LET THERE BE SALVATION THIS DAY" and the Lord said it's time to go...NOW...I said ok...By the way this was after a season of about a month's drought too! I get in the car and as we are leaving I see that black car with the guy in it coming back with a trooper behind him. The rain was pouring so hard they didn't even see me! I laughed the whole way home and it rained for like two weeks straight after that. Also during that storm I had 2 people in my life that I knew had been betraying me much with their mouths and God struck their tree with lightning during that worship and split it in half.
To top it off years later just recently in fact the Lord showed me a scripture that almost exactly described what HE did there....LOL
JESUS ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GOD IS AWESOME...USE YOUR FAITH...DANCE UNTIL HE RAINS ON YOU...PRAISE UNTIL HE RAINS ON YOUR LAND...SING UNTIL HE RAINS ON YOUR FAMILY...YOUR NATION...YOUR FINANCES...YOUR ...DANCE...PRAISE...LET THE RAIN COME...LET THE HOLY GHOST RAIN COME...AND SHOUT...GOD YOU REIGN...YOU REIGN JESUS...WOOOHOOO!!!

THE LORD NEVER FORGETS OUR PRAYERS, OUR WORDS, OUR THOUGHTS, OUR DESIRES, OUR REQUESTS...
EXAMPLES???
December 2000 I was in Colorado with my family of origin for Christmas. I was feeling so grateful to the Lord for who HE is and what HE did. All around me was confusion, chaos, materialism it was just ridiculous and very restless. I said under my breath to the Lord, next year Lord I want to sit at home in my sweats alone and just praise you for who you are...and be with you. I subsequently forgot what I said and when Christmas came my sons were with their father and my daughters with theirs. (first time that had happened) I sat alone and I wept and cried Lord noone loves me. LOL... I asked why am I alone? He responded by bringing my own words back in my mind...to remind me of my prior wish. I immediately quit crying and said Lord you remembered? I was so grateful and touched that I enjoyed the time peacefully and with love. Then the Lord sent a friend who invited me to her family gathering for dinner.
One day I was testifying and I said the Lord is so funny!!! If I pray to lose weight I will find no parking anywhere near the building I am going to and then I have to walk. The very next day after saying this and testifying I got to work and there was nowhere to park (I am blessed to get VIP parking alot by the Lord's grace) I had to park very far away and as I walked to the building I began to laugh as the Lord reminded me of my statement!
(I have a thousand of these by the way LOL )
I went to an insurance office once and LOVED the smell in there. I asked the agent if he knew what it was and he said no his wife had done it. The next day I went to BMV to get plates and while in line a woman comes in selling little clowns with that very same scent for $5, which was all I had on me. I hung that clown on the rearview mirror so I would remember everyday how the Lord hath cared for me.
I had to move from a residence in 2002 and I wanted to stay in the same town for my boys so they wouldn't have to change schools. The town I lived in was very upper class and the people were very haughty and unpleasant to deal with ecspecially for a single mom with 4 . I was an outcast there. I called on a home to move to and the man said it had just been rented out, but he had one in a neighboring town. I looked at it and the town, my and I loved it and moved there. God made all the arrangements as HE always does. After living there for a week or so I decided to explore the neighborhood and town because I hadn't been there much. As I drove around I turned on a certain street and had a flash back to a time about 3-4 years prior and I had gotten lost in that town and saw this neighborhood and I said out loud back then...Lord I love this neighborhood, it is soooo beautiful. I drove all through the houses back then and went on with my life. Upon the exploration I realized that the neighborhood I now lived in was the neighborhood I had driven through back then and didn't even realize it!!!!!! GOD LOVES US SOOO MUCH...
When I was 16 I picked out 4 names for my . Later in life, after having two boys I decided that was it. The Lord gave me four and all but one are named the names I picked out at 16..oh no...does that mean another one is coming...LOL
Like I said I have a thousand of these!!!!!!!
I could talk forever about the Lord and never get tired!!!!
