Judgment, Judging and our duty...?

I have been seeing many posts about judging others and though I have read many I can say I have not read them all. So I thought I would post about a response I just made to a blog post on judging.

First definition: "To form an opinion or estimation of after careful consideration"

And mind you, my opinion is supported by my faith that God's word the "bible" is fact, in which i form my opinion of life's happenings and peoples actions.

I don't really know if it's all that thought through word by word or letter by letter but that is why I am posting it with out review.

I want to see how you re-act to my immediate reaction as I felt inspired to comment. I guess I want to know if I am truly growing or am I just spewing stuff.

I mean let's consider how often we don't have the convenience of spell check or delete when we are physically defending our beliefs in person. Are we speaking of God for God or do we passionately mis represent because our human nature gives little time for pause in a candid conversation?

I have been given a hard time way too much over the "judge" subject but don't you think we, at the very least need to clarify "judge" when we say don't judge?

I know what it means, and you probably do too, but many folks think that when I say "you are going to hell, unless" that I am judging. Well am I? in the true context of the word I am and I am not. So when we as Christians use the word judge shouldn't we clarify what we mean?

I think we all should self evaluate how we come across to others, lipstick, a hair style, our clothes and the way we smell? So important to all of us day to day but when was the last time you looked in the mirror of your Christian verbal look (if you could call it that)

So I ask you! Judge me, tell me am I off base should I take heed and refine should you? We are running out of time here!

We need to get it right, how we are perceived and I for one want to, so...

Here is my un-edited response to the post...

Judge not, well we should not unless appointed by law as we are obey the law of our lands. But shouldn't we hold others accountable to the law and God's law.

We should question motive and credibility so as not to be deceived or allow others to be deceived. "Judge" strong word and easily taken out of context.

Discernment and wisdom encouraged by faith that we are right when in God's word wholly and inspired by the Holy Spirit to warn or question is my opinion on Judgment. True He will execute judgment in the end days, shall we not be obligated to exploit wrong and evil and manipulative ways prior to His judgment with the hope that we may be vessels of ministry to sway the unsaved to see the errors of their ways?

I believe that we are called to make judgments in respect to evaluating things people say or do,ie..is it in line with what the word of God says.
But the final condemnation is Gods job.
We may say,"According to the word of God,the end result of un-repentance is....".
Now,because people do not know God,they will take that as though it were our own opinion, and it is we who are passing the judgment. It`s not us they truly hate then, but God.
I do believe though that we perhaps need to re-assess the manner in which we present Gods truth.
If we really loved God and people, then the message of Hell and damnation would move us to tears,I`m not saying we should be in floods of tears every time we are speaking, but the love we have for them should be evident in our tone, and in our speech.Instead all to often we sound callous and un-feeling,cold and un-loving.
I constantly have to repeat the old adage to my self;
"People don`t care how much you know till they know how much you care.

Thank Steve, definitely a good point about caring and loving tone. An area I could use some work on.

If you could elaborate on the relevance of Hebrews 8:13 as it pertains to Judgment or holding doctrine accountable I would appreciate it. I don't understand the verse alone with respect to the discussion?
