A Blessing

I am translating from German so please forgive me for errors but it came from my mom and I find it special:

Tell me blessed words
before you leave the home
there are so many things that can happen during the day,
who knows if we see each other again?
Please make sure you say a blessing at night
who knows who wakes up in the morning?
Life is so fast past by.
And then it was not indifferent
what you last said to me
and what your last question was to me...

That's why, let the last word be a blessing.
Remember that one may have been the last one forever.
