Dont let seeking too too much for something better in life, lead you to a life of confusion.

Devil is definitely working overtime to get us to get our eyes off of Jesus!

Lately i have been meeting, even Christians, that have been curious about other religous orginzations, that have started reading their "bibles". These Christians are curious to find out about these other religons or cults and are looking for something more than what Jesus has, and to my surprise, they actually compromised the bible, and started thinking that "we do all serve the same God just different names". Even Christians have decided to accept things from other religons. Dont let the devil deceive you. Sometimes we are a little too curious, that we tend to compromise Christianity and start opening the door to what is not of God. Then we start letting in confusion and our eyes are no longer focused on Christ. Be very careful, and dont be too curious. Remember curousity killed the cat.
The fact is that when we compromise God, it gives the devil an open door to start changing the way we think. And by the time you know it, you no longer believe Jesus is Messiah...and then your life becomes darken and hardened.
Lately, I have been invited to learn about other religons, especially muslims; I bought a book home from the library thinking this is something God wanted me to learn, and then when i was going to open it to read it. The HOlyspirit grieved and I felt a desire NOT to read it. I decided that I dont need to be curious of any religon, but the one True living God...My Lord and SAvior Jesus Christ. I wont be deceived. So becareful.....dont be too open minded. The devil will come in with lies, and get you to start thinking differently of Jesus. Next thing you know you will say " Jesus was only a prophet" when we know He is the of God and our Lord and SAvior.
God bless you....

Watered down Christianity is a path that many are taking. It's the easier path and the door to heaven is narrow. The "all roads lead to God" philosophy is a "feel good" mentality. We need to guard our hearts and minds and worship the only one and true God through Jesus Christ.

I do, however, think it's not a bad thing to know enough about other religions to be able to speak intelligently to others about it, especially non-believers.

I watched a Family Feud type gameshow on a christian video and the atheists/agnostics won hands down every time over the Christians. What it showed was that most Christians are very naive about other faiths and other faiths know so much more about Christianity. How are we going to preach the gospel to these people if we don't love them enough to try to understand where they are coming from?

I think it's a fine line and not for everyone but we can't bury our heads in the sand to the point where we isolate ourselves only with other believers. Put on the full armor of God and listen to the Holy Spirit in all matters. God bless.

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these." -Mark 12:30-31
