Your Attitude Carries Your Faith Your Attitude Carries Your Faith When your Attitude towards a situation determines your outcome and your destiny Your attitude carries your faith, it shows whether you are truly trusting in God for things to come to pass or if you just have such little faith that your falling apart and unstable in your ways, Jesus never said it would be easy. But He did say that through Him it is easier. Matt 11:28-30 B- Basic I- Instruction B-Before L-leaving E- Earth · God is teaching us through His Word how to: · Live Life · Handle situations · Showing us examples of similar situations · Showing us what the end result will be when we trust in him What people went through in the bible, wasn’t just stories for us to read, but real live events, similar to the ones we go thought. He shows us what they were facing, how they handled it, the action plan, and what the results were. **Whether the decisions they made were the right ones or the wrong ones, the bible still shows us the outcome of the choices we make.** God is always there for you! But it is up to us to take his advice. The examples he’s give us. Put it into practice and watch how he works. Sort of like a Novel, you have the beginning, the middle and the end. But if you don’t read from the beginning to the end, you wont experience the full effect of the book…its’ purpose and what you learned from it. We have a very compassionate God full of Love and Mercy. He’s there for you…waiting till you open the door He’s been knocking on. God wants the best for you, it hurts him to see you go through your situations, but if you don’t listen to him, if you don’t constantly read his word, if you don’t renew your mind…then bad choices can happen and the results are not what you expected. Once you open that door and allow him to work in your life you will be like that of a fruitful tree and the waters….flourishing and prosperous. But if we continue to make our own decisions, God cant control what your headed for. He’ll warn you, but if your not carefully listening then he cant do anything. You made your bed now lie in it…until you decide to get up and redo it again. Thank God for mercy and grace, Thank God for the blood He shed for us.Because if it wasn’t for that, forgiveness wouldn’t be so simple. When you finally decide to stop doing it on your own and fighting him, then you can listen, learn and things will go well…with Peace& Rest attached to it! Give your problems to him: 1st Peter 5  He encourages you: Phillipians 4:13 Faith can move mountains: Mark 11:23-24 Don’t go by what you see or what is in front of you, remember God’s thoughts and ways are different and better than ours. Just trust him What is it going to take for you to stop doing it on your own? Nothing good can come from a situation unless it is through Jesus Christ How many more times are you going to stumble or fall in the same hole time after time, before you let him in.? When will you stop running? When will you stop cheating on him by putting other “Gods” in front of him. When? When? When When it all falls apart? When something really bad happens to you or a family member? Or on your death bed? Don’t wait so long! Let’s wake up and smell Jesus Christ! Jesus Christ is knocking on your door Wisdom is knocking at your door Rest is knocking at your door. Prosperity is knocking at your door Healing is knocking at your door Peace is knocking at your door. So open it and let these good things come in. Your Outlook in life determines on you! You ever heard you are what you eat? Well if it’s Mc Donald’s they you will be greasy …Yuk! Your thoughts and how you perceive life has a big impact on your situations and your destiny. Are you an over achiever? Do you give up easily? Do you think you know better? Do you really have a positive outlook on life? Are you listening to God? Do you get angry when things don’t go right? Do you shelter yourself when problems occur and stay in bed? Paul says in the New Testament to renew your mind everyday. That means staying in communication with God through : His Word Prayer Worship Changing your lifestyle habits Praise These negative thoughts will creep in when you least expect it and try to get you down. So when that happens you must be prepared. Ephesian 6. When your in tune with God: You will find peace Life is worth living Prosperous When you call he answers A positive outlook You are taken care of He’s always there for you You will be a solid rock, not easily moved, when things happen. Being on Jesus’s side is worth every sacrifice. God promises to take care of his and you are his . Remember what is impossible with man…is possible with God! Let’s take a moment What has your attitude said about your faith? What has your attitude been towards God? Let’s ask for forgiveness and repent and spend some time with God. Let us pray! |
