Expressions - Poetry Of The Heart


Transplant

My heart bruised and broken you hold in your hand

Be gentle O Spirit, lest I beat no more

Sacred blood flow through this organ

Cause this heart to beat so

Transplant of hope that gives new life

Heals and restores, leaves but a scar

A strong, renewed, passionate heart

Place in a vessel grafted by your hand

Beat again by grand design

A rhythm intricately composed

A melody only the Creator knows

My heart bruised and broken you hold in your hand

Be gentle O spirit, lest I beat no more.

Waiting for the surgeons touch…..a transplant of hope.
