~!...Yes, I had a bad ATTITUDE... It was wrong...!~ The Grill out / BBQ Friday night with just my and I was a marvelous start to the weekend... Saturday I awoke to a routine Saturday... Had a couple meetings, a divorce probability and litigation denied... then on to the office... checked mail and calls... then back to the house for a hour... Saturday evening continued on with my , met up with my pastor and his wife, went out to dinner, and then visited a mega church in Cincinnati and was indeed touched as we worshiped Our Lord!!! So blessed indeed!!! Such terrific family to spend this time with!!! Then on Sunday the voice of darkness said to sleep in... I was later than I wanted to be to set up for church... then had issues with the sound and I just threw my hands up... a couple of our ladies was telling me how to mix the sound and what they wanted to hear... I told them, "here you go, you do it!!!" They walked away and I continued with this issue in my spirit... I apologized after the service to one and will the other when I see her. It just took me back and the rest of the day was blah... So what happened to me has probably happened to you... I have great difficulty in being micro managed... How do you react and feel about being micro managed? Is this my greatest flaw? What are some of our greatest flaws? I could use help... as my compassion was lacking today... Michael, God bless you as you open yourself up and show a side i didn't know was there in you. i do think and believe you have a real heart for the Lord and God is using you, maybe your short coming was for a guy like me to see a leader can still have problems, bless you. Oh sweetie I can so empathise! Often with me, when something messes up my day, my attitude causes a chain reaction. I don't know if that is a common occurrence with everyone, but I can mess up a day oh so easily, with just one little irriation or upset. I am trying very hard to take my thoughts captive, when I feel anger rushing in, or sadness, or any negative emotion that is going to bring me down. You know what Michael? the most important thing to keep in mind here, is that you recognized the negative impact all round, you asked forgiveness and you have shown incredible humility and courage to admit that your attitude sucked! I'm not going to give you platitudes like "don't be too hard on yourself" lol because I always am hard on myself!! God's blessings on my friend Michael! Michael, it really sucks when we think we're all alright and then something gets triggered in us and we blow up. These are or needs and expectations which don't always get met and we get frustrated. Sometimes someone pushes a button which flairs up old pain, that we thought was healed, yet we realize now that it has not been healed yet. God allows it to happen so we see that we are still human and have to work on this specific area. I am glad that you are open about it. I had a while ago a discussion with my cellphone company, I thought that with my phone call I had canceled the contract, yet I had not send a letter which meant I was not canceled, which also meant I got stuck with them for another year. I got really frustrated, and tried to convince them, but there was no use, I guess my voice got lauder, because she suddenly told me to to yell at her. The thing is I was frustrated with my self because I can't see trough the whole bureaucratic stuff of this country. I have had a lot of problems with it when I returned to Germany. The other shock was, that I was actually getting lauder, which is totally not me, at least not in the last years. God just told me to look at this area, whey I got so frustrated, which I did. I wish you well, look at this area and God will show you the way. God bless you What God does in our lives during the waiting period is just as important as what we are waiting for. Yes, all of the above comments, I agree. Apologize and learn from it. Know your weakness's and breaking points and just try to think before reacting. The whole count to 10 thing really works some times too. I've had to do plenty. But when we are already stressed, tired, sick, run down, overwhelmed, over worked, burning the candle at both ends, so to speak, things happen. But, goodness, they can't even blame PMS for you, and for that, I am sorry!! Let it go, give it up to God. He's already forgiven you, so you need to forgive yourself. You have a repentant heart. He sees this, He knows this. You have one apology left to go and then make a conscious effort to avoid that happening again or keep triggers at bay. * Sin is sin. Careful what comes across your lips & out your finger tips!!! * We are all the Body of Christ. Let's treat each other as such, with the same respect we give to HIM!! * Relationship advice: DO NOT make someone a PRIORITY, when they ONLY make you an OPTION!! * A woman's heart should be so lost in God, that a man has to seek HIM in order to find her!!

Hey Michael, thanks for being transparent with us and sharing from your heart those experiences that we all have. At the beginning of each day (well, most days) I ask the Lord to 'live in me and through me'. This gives Him permission to do just that..it's based on Gals 2:20 (20I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.) Why not pray that prayer (if you don't already) and see how the Lord works through you in every situation that comes your way during the day Trust this helps.Also remember, that we're very much human and don't always have good days T.
