LOVE!!!... It doesn't get any better than this! So many times I see others here and everywhere decide to get married. And so I ask, "are you really in love?", and the overwhelming response is ,"I love him/her very much." "Very much!?!"... "What do you mean very much??!"... When I fall in love I want to know it so much that I feel it deeply and reply that I can not live without her... I want to be with her right now... she is amazing... she is my everything... I know she is the one because I love her so deeply that my body aches in thinking about her and she is the most beautiful women in the world to me!!! And so it goes... when is the timing of knowing??? A young man said to his father at breakfast one morning, "Dad, I'm going to get married." "How do you know you're ready to get married?" asked the father. "Are you in love?" "I sure am," said the . "How do you know you're in love?" asked the father. "Last night as I was kissing my girlfriend good-night, her bit me and I didn't feel the pain until I got home." ***Ahhhhhh, the kiss...........*** Now that's the kind of love I desire!!! What will true love look like? How will I know? How will you know? What are we going to do about the desire? ***I will just be me... and that will be more than enough*** Will you be yourself? Genuine and real? ***Ummmmmmmm...... the KISS!!!***  Let the shine!!! michael |

Wow Michael!!!! This is the million dollar question !!!! How will anyone know???? It has taken me 40 years to discover what real love is, and what love isn't!!! Yes I have kissed alot of ugly frogs and they never turned to a prince..... For a true romance to be really , truely love , we can only know this by having a true romance with the Lord and learning the art of self sacrifice, and patience, and all those things we don't want to learn.... I love what Kez said... For me true love would be going to sleep with the person on my mind and reliving that moment and waking up with the same person on my mind and thinking how nice it would be to feel that same way in 40 years time with my man. For me I think I would know he was the one when he said come, lets kneel on our knees and commit this relationship to God, then well he could be the one. Sorry I'm a hopeless romantic but that's me and yes I would like to think I would be real. This is where I would really pray for the Holy Spirit to guide. Amen Kez!!! But I am still patiently waiting till the day the Lord sends that man, who will give me that Kiss, that will send me to heaven, lol.... Till then, I am not going to settle for anyone !!!!  only THE man that God has chosen!!!!! lol..... I just had a visual of me getting out of my rocking chair to say my wedding vows, .....lol.... I dont know if I have that much patience, heheheheh   Netty  Lying in bed would be a truely supreme experience if only I had a coloured pencil long enough to draw on the ceiling

Oh Kerry, You sooooo have me sitting here crying.  The love that the Lord will have for me is going to be so over whelming to me, I know. Anything I have felt in the past is going to pale in comparison. I see couples in my church that are hold hands together as the other hand is raised in praise to God, holding each other in a loving embrace as they knee together at the alter in prayer. I just sit there and cry!!!! I cry because it is so beautiful to see, so wonderful to know that is the love that God created for us, cry because I see that it does really exist and I cry because that is what I want!!!!! A relationship that is committed to God as the priority and focus of the relationship. To have someone (a MOG) say to me "let's get on our knees and pray, committing our relationship to the Lord." I honestly can so I will be a blubbering idiot. He will have to do all the praying at that moment because all I will be able to do is sit in his arms and cry as my tears sing praises to the Lord for what He has brought to me! "***I will just be me... and that will be more than enough***" Absolutely, Michael! A wonderful post to wake up to this morning. A beautiful hope, the Lord is working behind the scenes, we don't always see it, but He is there. He is working preparing us, breaking, molding and restoring so that we will be the person in the relationship that He desires us to be. It is hard to be patient sometimes, but I know it will be worth it. I want to be the best person I can so I may honor God in my relationship as well as honor the MOG He has for me. Oh yeah, almost forgot, the kiss! Hmmmmm, well the kiss, not sure words would work anyway. I guess I better go buy a dog so I can be prepared.  Many blessings, Michael!!! Kez - I am so glad you posted that because that is so true. The one that brings me to my knees, the one that prays to the Lord with me. Yes, Netty, the one I go to sleep thinking of and the one I wake thinking about smiling. Yes, I agree and for it to last forever it would truly have to be from God above. ....let's not even discuss the kiss.....that has got to be there because it stops me dead in my tracks.......could stop an arguement......could cure almost anything........it's got to send me. Am I asking too much Lord?? Cause, I really don't ask for much. * Sin is sin. Careful what comes across your lips & out your finger tips!!! * We are all the Body of Christ. Let's treat each other as such, with the same respect we give to HIM!! * Relationship advice: DO NOT make someone a PRIORITY, when they ONLY make you an OPTION!! * A woman's heart should be so lost in God, that a man has to seek HIM in order to find her!!

I had that kind of love. The bad part was that he didn't feel it so deeply. It was my first and third/last love. I felt like a shoe that found it's mate when we were around each other. My heart still kind of flutters (involuntarily) when I see him or hear his voice. Love never dies, it just evolves into a different kind of love. Unfortunately, it didn't work out. It took me 6 years to get over it after we broke up, but we kept trying to get back together every so often. Finally, I figured out that I was the 'fall back girl'. The one he would run to when he was down or didn't have any 'better' offers. Thank God my heart has been released from that hold, but it was the kind of love that endures indefinitely. I loved him so much I would have given up the air I breathe if he needed it more. The scary question is, "Do you ever get that total mind/body/spirit love again?"

Oh Michael, what have yo started, a girlie topic I believe that you'll know when you'll get there. And because you trust God the way you do, He will open it up to you and to her. It is not when the person will make you happy, yet when you can make your self happy and will be able to be on your own, yet desire with all your heart to be with her. Aannnnnnnndddddddd the KISS will be the toping on the cake You know, I have a couple in counseling where he used to say, that she makes him happy. It really scared her, and she refused to make him happy, because it was too big of an expectation on her. When we redefined what really makes him happy, which is being with her etc. makes him happy, she relaxed. They are working really hard on staying together and finding the true love again.
