PRAYERS OF REPENTANCE

FOR THE HIGH HOLY DAYS

VISION

My God and God of my fathers.

Vision is one of my most

valuable possessions and

I desire to increase it. I want

to know my purpose, and

to see my vision grow and fulfill it.

I will resist discouragement,

as it comes to blind me and

cause me to lose my vision.

I will resist fear, knowing

that fear is not of You, and

that it will keep me from

fulfilling my destiny. But

I will walk in faith knowing

that You are with me, and

abiding with You I will always

see the way to go. If I

fear only You, I will not fear

anything else. I will follow

my vision, as far as I can see.

The walls around me of fear,

and the fences which are

delusions, will not be able

to stop me as long as I can see

further. You will always

provide me with food and water

I need for the journey.

Let hunger and thirst keep me

moving forward. When I find

refreshments, let me rest as

long as they last, and then

keep going. I will not let

wounds or mistakes suffered

on the journey turn me back,

or return to bondage because

of disappointments or failures.

I choose faith over fear, and

I will keep going until I

reach my destiny. Thank You

for the patience and discipline

I need to endure, for the greatest

treasure is at the end of

the longest, most difficult journey.

I have faith in the

Holy Spirit's ability to lead me

into all truth over the

emeny's power to deceive.

I will walk in my vision,

knowing that if I don't follow it,

I will lose it. "Many

are called but few are chosen."

Many will come to the

wedding feast, but few

will be the bride.
