Hiz4ever,

Thank you for this post,

I am so thankful that God loves us, I was reading and came across this which made me even more thankful.

From the complete Jewish Bible
Malachi 1:4

Edom says, "We are beaten down now, but we will come back and rebuild the ruins." ADONAI-Tzva'ot answers, "They can build, but I will demolish. They will be called the Land of Wickedness, the people with whom ADONAI is permanently angry.

Gods love for us is so great, but equally great is His anger, I am Thankful He is not permanently angry at us.

Heavenly Father thank you for your love and mercy, Father put it in our hearts to fear you and to love and respect you, may we always be a living sacrifice, good and pleasing to you, in Jesus name Amen

God Bless You,
Mike

Beloved Mike,

WOW!!! Thanks for sharing that word
from the Jewish Bible. I started
attending a Messianic congregation
since the first of the year. It has
been a real blessing and I found the
joy of the LORD there.

This post reflects the scripture you shared.

A Voice From the Temple

I say AMEN to your prayer, too.

I just received a blessed word last night.
My daughter called and all three of my
granddaughters will be baptised this Sunday.
The LORD has provided my passage to be there
with my girls for this advent. I haven't seen
them for 2 full years. Barukh haShem.

With Great Love,

Hiz4ever,

My great, great, and maybe even great grandfather came from the Black Forest region of Germany in the late 1800's. They were German Jews and this was before Hitler did his thing. But where they came to settle in Louisiana a community which was named after them, there was no church at all. A few years later a Methodist church was built and there was a traveling preacher that would come once every other week to preach there. He came by horse and buggy one Sunday morning and would preach, that Sunday afternoon he would be in the next community preaching, the following Sunday two more places and on the third Sunday he would return. Eventually as the family grew and married and the children grew and married ... well they became Methodist, I was born and raised Methodist, I now go to a non-denominational church because this is where I can really feel the Holy Spirit move in church. The more I study Gods word though, the more I feel my Jewish roots, wanting to celebrate the Jewish festivals and such. I see it this way and I know others don't, but to me if God told the Jews (His Children) to keep the days, to remember what God has done for them, and it makes God happy for them to do so. Then why wouldn't we as adopted children of God want to make Him happy too. I mean that if I know doing something pleases my Father even though it is an adopted brother that was told to do it, would not it also please him if I did it? I think Christians should be keeping the Jewish holidays as well. Just my opion. Any way I just wanted to tell you this story about where I have come from.

God Bless You,
Mike

PS, that community still has only one church, the same church and still has a traveling preacher that comes ever other Sunday. Only now someone in the church preaches the other Sundays.

god Bless You,
Mike
