A Nation of Ruth's ....Part I

Jonathon Cahn’s message in the summer of 1996 that the Book of Ruth was an allegory:
Ruth, representing the church, loves Naomi, representing Israel, and clings to her. The Bible and Jonathon Cahn’s insight were important for what the Lord was trying to get me to understand about Jew and Gentile. And I believe He’s given me further glimpse of this book’s application for today. I’m sure more will be
understood about this book as events unfold.

Ruth, whose name means ‘friendship,’ befriends her mother-in-law, Naomi, in a manner so passionate that this scripture is often used as a wedding vow between loving couples as they express the ideal commitment they hope to have for each other. Ruth said to Naomi, ‘entreat me not to leave you, or to turn back from following after you; for wherever you go, I will go; and wherever you lodge, I will lodge; your people shall be my people, and your God, my God. Where you die, I will die; and there will I be buried. The Lord do so to me, and more also, if anything but death parts you and me.
(Ruth 1:16-17)

Ruth is pledging her life to Naomi. She says, in effect, ‘If I leave you except for any reason but death, may God abandon me and worse!’ And
she says she will die where Naomi dies, giving of her strength to sustain Naomi.

*This is a repost of a lengthy article; which I will break up into several postings. I pray you will wish to return to finish receiving the message and the blessing! *

I just want you to know I went back and read this post.......all of it. Mr. Cahn 'saw' something I had never seen and I appreciate his wisdom and insight. I am saying this so if I don't comment on these posts you will know why. Thank you for sharing this for I always enjoy and appreciate good teaching. I don't know if this is something God is doing to all in these end times but He is giving me a 'heart' for the Jews, His 'chosen people'. Love in Christ, Elizabeth

Beloved Elizabeth,

I am glad that you, too, have
been given a heart of Ruth for
the Jewish people.

I believe that Jonathan Cahn
preached on this message, but
at the Part 12, I make sure to
include the author of the book:

‘The Last Chance For The Church To
Love The Jewish People’
by Jeffrey Lowenthal
