Prepare to Receive

It is nearly time for the feast of Pentecost. I pray the Lord prepare us all to receive HIS outpouring which we all desperately need to become HIS mighty witnesses in this world. It is time for a mighty harvest of souls, but without HIS Grace upon us we can do nothing.

"Except the LORD build the House, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain." Psalm 127:1

Pentecost, is a feast celebrated after the wheat harvest. The Lord wants us to honour Him with this feast. It was during the time of this feast in Jerusalem (city of PEACE), that the LORD poured out His Spirit on those who were gathered to wait upon HIM. They were in peace with one another and waiting in the Upper Room where they had, 50 days earlier, during Passover, joined with the Lord for His Last Supper of Holy Communion.

Jesus/ Yeshua, had at that time, washed the feet of His disciples in preparation for their receiving the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost. Today, we are to be washed in prayer and by the washing of the water of His Word. We should cleanse our souls and our homes and make ready the highway of the Lord. Open your gates and let the Lord of Glory come in.

Lord send us the Promise of the Latter Rain. We wait for Your power from on High, that we might become Your witnesses in the earth to bring in the Harvest of the Lord. Prepare us and prepare the Harvest, Lord, that You should be Glorified !
